Naagin (rise of the serpent)

Justin's green eyes fluttered open. He closed his eyes again trying to get used to the sunlight. He lay flat on the grassy floor, with his tail curved to the left.

He wagged his green tail left and right for the purpose of feeling the tail. Inhaling air, his green eyes stared at the blue sky,kinda admiring the sky.

After a few seconds of staring at the sky, he got up on his tail and stood up at about 3 meters tall. Once up, his green eyes searched the surrounding for traces of his friend and probably, the human.

According to his point of view, he was just a few meters away from the foot of the hill. He looked up straight, ahead and noticed that he had a long way to go in order to get back to the top of the hill.

He wondered what had happened to Josh, his friend. Bit by bit, memories of what had happened not long ago started to sip into his brain. Remembering what had happened a lot of minutes ago,he sighed heavily while giving a short hiss.

"Could it be that someone rescued the human?" Justin asked himself, somewhat bewildered as he stood in one spot.

Giving another sigh, accompanied with a short hiss, he decided to go up the hill again.

On his way up the hill, he could see the destruction caused by whoever it was that had rescued the human. His guess was that, the individual must have been very powerful to have caused such a destruction. All in the name of saving a human.

Not quite long, he got back to the top of the hill. Getting to the top of the hill, he met a little army of a hundred snake soldiers.

Seeing the little snake army of soldiers at first, he was quite surprised. But he washed away the surprised look from his face immediately.

Justin's eyes caught sight of Josh. Josh was actually standing beside a huge and hefty snake immortal. He had a worried look on his face and Justin could guess that they were searching for him.

After the whole chaotic saving of the human by the unknown individual, the power force must have blown him away, down the hill. And maybe during when he was unconscious, a squad of the snake army must have arrived at the hill with the huge and hefty snake immortal as the leader.

Crawling a little bit closer to the hundred snake soldiers, everybody noticed him, including Josh.

Josh, seeing his friend, left whatever conversation he was having with the huge and hefty snake immortal and embraced his friend. The worried expression that was on his face a while ago was replaced with relief.

"Good thing you're okay" Josh muttered immediately they had separated from the hug.

Justin only nodded with a cheerful smile.

"Seems the power force must have blown me away" Justin said while chuckling.

"Don't be too hard on yourself. I was also blown away by the power force".

"So, where's the human?" Justin asked even though he knew the answer to the question.

"She seemed to have been taken away by whoever had caused the storm and all that..."

"That only means someone sent the human over to Hijirar's Abode" a husky voice was heard from the back of the two male snakes.

Both Josh and Justin turned their backs to see the huge and hefty snake immortal that stood before them.

This snake immortal, undeniably carried a powerful aura. His presence alone was a lot commanding and intimidating. Though, he was arguably handsome but cold.

He was a brown coloured snake. He had a brown tail and dark brown eyes.

He folded his scaly arms with a cold expression on his face. The two male snakes stopped their little conversation and stared at him, submitting to his authority.

After a due and waited silence, the hefty male snake who happened to be General Lichi spoke again.

"If I may ask,who between the two of you had sent us a message about the arrival of a human in our world?" General Lichi asked.

"I did".

Josh said while raising his right hand, signifying that he was the one that had sent the message to the snake army headquarters.

General Lichi smirked a little and said.

"For such a significant action to have happened and for the human to just disappear,it can only mean someone had sent her to our world. And we must figure out who did" General Lichi smiled a cold smile.

"So what do you advise we do, now?" Justin asked.

"We'll head back to Agridon and wait till when lady Arizona arrive from the human world. Then we can report it all to her" General Lichi concluded.

Both Josh and Justin nodded. But first, Justin caught sight of the peach tree. He noticed the peach tree was withering and somehow, he felt the urge to go and heal it.

Following his instincts, he crawled over to the peach tree, passing through the hundred snakes that stood on the top of the hill.

Getting to the peach tree, he felt the soul essence of the peach tree was wearing away. He felt a little bit of sorrow in his heart as he didn't want the peach tree to die.

'All this had happened because of that annoying little female human'

Justin thought angrily, tracing his hand on the surface of the peach tree.

"Justin!! Aren't you coming?" Justin could hear Josh calling over to him.

The hundred of snake soldiers led by general Lichi were descending the hill.

Though, General Lichi and Josh stood at a few meters away from Justin, waiting for Justin to come over.

Josh, seeing the withering peach tree, felt kinda sad but he tried his best not to express it.

As for General Lichi who had a cold expression on his face.

The peach tree must have been really affected by the storm and the golden beam of light falling from the sky. That could be one of the reasons why it was withering.

Justin decided to resurrect the peach tree, cause the peach tree had actually helped him during the storm.

If not for the peach tree, Justin would not have been able to hold his ground and not being blown away by the storm.

Justin channeled all his energy through his half-snake body. Thereby, making his tail to glow green, also his eyes were glowing green.

Placing his hand on the peach tree, he channeled his energy into the peach tree. Since he was a nature type snake,it was a lot easy to resurrect the peach tree.

That only meant, he felt nature and was close to nature.

Channeling all his nature energy into the tree,he flicked his snake tongue a few times. In no time, the peach tree slowly started coming back to life.

All it's withered and dried leaves were turning green. The peach tree's root and large trunk became harder and the peach tree's soul essence burned brighter.

After a maximum of ten minutes, Justin successfully brought the peach tree back to life.

Justin's tail and eyes stopped glowing and Justin heaved a sigh of relief once done. He cast his head at both General Lichi and Josh who were staring at him the whole time.

Justin tapped the peach tree as a goodbye gesture, but received a surprise. Three amazing peaches fell from the now alive peach tree.

Justin picked them up and smiled in gratitude. And he could feel the peach tree kinda smiling back at him.

Justin crawled to were General Lichi and Josh stood and threw two peaches at them at which they caught.

General Lichi casted Justin a confused look.

"You can have one of the peaches while Josh takes the other one" Justin clarified.

General Lichi nodded and immediately shoved one whole peach fruit into his mouth, so did Josh and Justin.

"I like the way you have love for nature" General Lichi commented once he was done eating the peach.

"Yeah, to think that the peach tree gifted you with peaches" Josh chuckled.

"I'll be going then. You both can head back to Agridon if you want to but if you feel like waiting here for the human, you are free to make your choice".

General Lichi didn't even give the two male snakes opportunity to answer. He immediately transformed into a large brown Anaconda snake.

His full snake form was big. The brown Anaconda slithered away, down the hill and heading for the snake city.

Josh and Justin looked at each other and couldn't help but laugh at what was not funny.

And that proves Naagin's perspective wrong of only half snake form as the legal form a snake should take in Hijirar's Abode.
