Looking at Naruto's sincere, sunny smile and the grilled fish he handed over, Sasuke felt a warmth in her heart.

This feeling was so familiar, as if it had happened just yesterday.

Being spied upon by the Third Hokage's "Telescope Technique," Naruto didn't feel like continuing the conversation.

Sasuke was slightly taken aback upon hearing this.

"Why?" Sasuke asked, pursuing the answer.

"Because you're speaking nonsense with your eyes wide open," Naruto retorted.

Sasuke, who was eating grilled fish, almost spat it out after hearing his words. "That's more like it."

Both were clever, and some things didn't need to be said aloud—they were as clear as day.

If Naruto were truly passionate about becoming Hokage, he wouldn't have told Sasuke about the darkness and light of Konoha.

Sarutobi Hiruzen put down his hands, and the image in the crystal ball vanished. He slowly looked up at Danzo, who wore a gloomy expression.

"Hmph, anyway, neither Naruto nor Sasuke need interference from Root. Naruto has already inherited the Will of Fire and sworn to become Hokage. He will be Konoha's weapon to intimidate other nations in the future. And Sasuke just needs to form bonds with the village, and she'll also become a strength for it!"
