A group of Uchiha clan members were stunned by the clan leader's words. Even during the most intense conflicts with the Senju clan, the two individuals had never been recalled. Now, suddenly, they were being summoned back. The clan leader surely wasn't considering a full-scale extermination war, was he?
Uchiha Zhan quickly spoke, "No, Clan Leader, if those two move, the south and north will definitely cause trouble. We can't do that, no."
Uchiha Tian Dao coldly responded, "Don't worry. I've already figured out the arrangements. Go and call Uchiha Feng back, who was just sent to the country of Rain. Xuan nodded quietly after reviewing Uchiha Tian Dao's arrangements. He had to admit, the clan leader was indeed skilled. He had mobilized the clan's greatest forces while maintaining deterrence over surrounding families. This level of competence wasn't something easily achieved.
"Alright, the personnel arrangements are settled. Now, let's discuss the battle against the Hyuga clan," Uchiha Tian Dao continued.
A peak Jonin from the Uchiha clan spoke up, "Clan Leader, what scale are you planning to control for this battle?"
Uchiha Tian Dao pondered for a moment before replying, "Honestly, with the Hyuga clan's strength, if there's no interference, it's possible to execute an extermination battle, but that would require the entire clan's involvement, and the process wouldn't necessarily go smoothly.
The reality is that we can't neglect the north and south. This ties up a lot of our strength, and if we pour too many resources into the Hyuga battle, the Senju might take the opportunity to strike us in our heartlands. That's not an option.
But, if the battle is too small, it won't be enough to hurt the Hyuga clan fundamentally, and that would be meaningless."
As Uchiha Tian Dao fell into thought, the members of the Uchiha clan continued discussing. The loss of Kazama and Valley had dealt a severe blow, allowing the Senju clan to aid the Hyuga clan without hesitation, putting the Uchiha at a disadvantage.
During the discussion, Xuan quietly leaned over to speak to Madara. "Madara, I remember you said that the Hyuga clan's territory has the most mountainous areas in the Land of Fire, but their grain production is insufficient, and they rely on the Senju or other clans for imports, right?"
Madara nodded and replied, "Yes, that's correct. Why are you asking about this?"
A cold smile appeared on Xuan's face as he whispered, "If that's the case, I have a plan. I'll tell you the details now, and you'll present it publicly later. Don't say it's my plan—just say it's yours."
Madara looked confused. "Why go around the long way? Just tell me your plan directly."
Xuan glared at him and replied sharply, "Why are you asking so many questions? Some things aren't appropriate for me to say—understand?"
Madara decisively shook his head.
Not bothering to argue, Xuan leaned in and whispered his plan to Madara. After hearing it, Madara's eyes lit up, and he nodded with a smile.
As the others continued discussing the attack on the Hyuga clan, a voice suddenly rang out, "I have an idea."
The voice sounded like a child, but it was filled with confidence, clearly audible in the noisy hall.
Everyone turned toward the source of the voice and saw Uchiha Madara standing up. Unfazed by the gazes of the crowd, he boldly walked forward.
Despite being only eight years old, Madara seemed to have an innate aura of dominance. Shyness was not in his vocabulary.
The Uchiha clan members recognized Madara, of course. Both he and Xuan weren't initially qualified to attend the clan meeting, but their unparalleled talent and joint defeat of a Hyuga clan Jonin had earned them an exception.
"Haha, I wonder what Young Master Madara's idea is. Let's hear it, so we can consider it," Uchiha Zhan said with a laugh, not thinking much of the idea from a child.
Madara ignored him, turning instead to his father. "Father, do we have a map of the Hyuga clan's territory?"
Uchiha Tian Dao, curious, pulled out a scroll from the desk and had it unrolled, revealing the Hyuga clan's map.
Madara walked over to the map, pointed at it, and said, "The Land of Fire is mostly flat, but looking at this map, the Hyuga clan's territory has the most mountains in the entire country. This is our advantage."
Uchiha Zhan and the others looked at the map, frowning. "Mountains? That means their land is easier to defend than attack. How is that an advantage for us?"
Madara sighed, exasperated. "Food. The mountains are unsuitable for farming, and their grain production is limited. They must rely on imports. Do you understand now? We don't need to invade."
As people started to understand Madara's point, it became clear. After all, they weren't lacking in intelligence. In this ninja world, personal strength often overshadowed strategic thinking, and even though they were in the midst of a Warring States period, military strategy wasn't as developed as it could have been.
Uchiha Zhan's expression brightened, and he said with excitement, "If that's the case, then…"
Madara continued coldly, "Then we just need to cut off their access to food by blocking their import routes. Once they run out of supplies, we can attack directly. Of course, the best outcome is for them to starve to death."
He didn't go into more detail. The veteran warriors in the room quickly understood the strategy and would soon fill in the rest of the battle plan.
Uchiha Tian Dao nodded with approval. The Hyuga clan's territory had only a few major roads, and the Uchiha clan could easily block them, freeing up more manpower to defend against the Senju.
A peak Jonin stood up to flatter Madara, saying, "Clan Leader, not only is Young Master Madara a genius in ninjutsu, but he's also a tactical genius. Under his leadership, the next generation of the Uchiha clan will surely defeat the Senju and dominate the Warring States."
Others joined in with praise, and Madara blushed slightly, clearing his throat awkwardly to hide his embarrassment. After all, this wasn't his idea. Hearing the compliments now made him feel a bit uncomfortable.

Only when his reputation is strong enough will he be able to become the clan leader after Uchiha Tian Dao's sudden death. I hope that day comes soon."
