Chapter 2: A System That Only Develops Fire Release Techniques!

---

"Ding!"

"Fire Release System is loading… 1%!"

"Fire Release System is loading… 10%!"

...

While Uchiha Yi was lamenting his fate, a thrilling voice echoed in his mind.

In short, the cheat of a transmigrator had finally arrived!

With high expectations, he focused his attention on the virtual screen in his mind.

In the past, he might have found watching a slow-loading progress bar unbearable, but today, the excitement kept him patient.

Luckily, the wait wasn't too long—nothing like the infamous tendency of some systems to freeze at 99%!

After about ten minutes, the loading bar finally reached 100%.

In the next moment, the display transitioned into a simple interface:

[Fire Release Development System]

Introduction: A system dedicated solely to developing Fire Release abilities.

With just 10 Soul Points, you can randomly develop a new Fire Release technique.

(Note: Soul Points are derived from the souls of living creatures.)

[Soul Points]: 0

"…That's it?"

It was so absurdly simple that it almost felt lazy!

A system that only claimed to develop Fire Release techniques?

Would this just be an endless upgrade of Great Fireball Jutsu into Super Great Fireball Jutsu?

For a moment, Uchiha Yi was utterly bewildered. There wasn't even a beginner's guide or a newbie gift pack. A one-star review seemed entirely reasonable!

Completely clueless about how to proceed, Uchiha Yi stared at the interface, trying to figure things out.

In a world dominated by powerful eye techniques, a skill set focused solely on Fire Release felt like it couldn't stand out.

After all, the ninja world has a saying: Fire Release can't kill anyone!

Damn it! This newly arrived cheat seemed utterly useless!

Doubts began creeping into his mind.

"How do I even collect Soul Points?"

"Do I need to kill people? Like leveling up in a video game by defeating enemies?"

"Could squishing ants give me points too?"

No matter what, this was the only cheat he had. Complaining wouldn't change things, and it was probably his only chance to break free from his current predicament.

For now, the priority was figuring out the system's rules and how effective it actually was.

The first step was clear: understand how to accumulate Soul Points.

However, it was late at night, and with tensions high between the Uchiha clan and Konoha's upper echelons, stepping out of his home was out of the question.

If he dared to wander outside, he could easily be branded as a spy or traitor by certain despicable individuals.

And then he'd be done for.

Such absurd situations were entirely predictable, given Konoha's leadership.

Thus, Uchiha Yi decided to look around his house for rats, cockroaches, or ants to experiment with, hoping to earn Soul Points that way.

Meanwhile, after leaving the Hokage's office, Uchiha Itachi didn't return to the Uchiha district immediately.

Instead, he headed to a secluded forest to meet with a masked man claiming to be Uchiha Madara.

The masked man seemed to have anticipated this meeting and had been waiting patiently.

"I need your help," Itachi said in a cold voice upon arrival.

"Have you made up your mind?" the masked man asked calmly, though his lips curled into a mocking smile behind the mask.

"I've done everything I could," Itachi replied. "But the arrogant and self-centered Uchiha clan won't stop. They will only bring destruction to Konoha's hard-earned peace!"

His voice carried an unshakable resolve.

"Hahaha…"

The masked man chuckled darkly, his tone dripping with mockery and disdain.

Ah, the Uchiha. Even their justifications for slaughtering their kin sound so grandiose.

Cursed blood indeed—this clan was utterly insane.

Perhaps it was better for them to be wiped out entirely.

This was a world without Rin. Whatever happened didn't matter anymore.

In the end, I'll create a world where Rin exists.

Standing nearby, Itachi didn't notice the ridicule in the masked man's tone. His thoughts were entirely consumed by the grim task ahead.

"I'll help you," the masked man eventually said. "But I have one condition."

"After this is over, you must join the organization I belong to and follow my orders."

Without hesitation, Itachi agreed. "Fine."

With that, Itachi turned and headed back toward the Uchiha district, while the masked man activated his Mangekyō Sharingan, phasing into the Kamui dimension and disappearing.

At the outskirts of the Uchiha district, Konoha's ANBU and Root operatives had already surrounded the area, ensuring that no one from the Uchiha clan could leave.

In the dark of the night, Itachi drew his blade and silently entered the district.

He approached a brightly lit home and knocked on the door.

"Huh? Itachi? What are you doing here?"

The clan member who opened the door initially looked surprised, then quickly shifted to an expression of disdain.

Before the man could say anything more, the glint of a blade flashed.

A cold slash across the throat silenced him forever.

"You…"

The victim's eyes widened in disbelief.

Despite viewing Itachi as a traitor for aligning with Konoha's higher-ups, the clan had never imagined he would turn his blade on them.

Regret filled his dying thoughts. They should have dealt with this monster long ago.

But there was no time for regret. The slash had severed his life in an instant.

With a dull thud, his lifeless body hit the floor.

The rest of the household barely had time to process what had happened before the blade flashed again.

In just a few moments, everyone in the home was slaughtered.

Blood stained the floorboards, and the coppery smell filled the air.

Back in Uchiha Yi's home, a faint "ding" sounded in his mind.

"Ding! Congratulations, Host, for killing 23 ants. Soul Points acquired: 0.0000000023!"

"…"

After much effort, Uchiha Yi had found an ant nest and stomped on it.

The reward left him speechless.

Was the absurdly long string of zeros after the decimal point really necessary?

The good news was that killing ants—or rather, living creatures—did indeed yield Soul Points.

The bad news? Killing ants wasn't exactly a viable strategy for earning points.

So, was the system pushing him toward a path of slaughter?

The implied direction didn't make Uchiha Yi entirely comfortable.

Still, in the cruel world of Naruto, survival often meant killing or being killed.

Whether he liked it or not, this world left him with little choice.
