Naruto : Hidden Cloud

Sato had arrived on the sealing podium, the large beast Matatabi was already sitting inside the sealing circle, waiting for Sato to come.

"You are here, I was waiting for your arrival."

"And Sato your smell..? Somehow It's become even more like mine."

Matatabi raised her head and sniffed the air, she could smell an intense tailed beast smell from Sato, it was much stronger compared to the last time she met him.

"Yeah, I experienced something like a kekkei genkai awakening. Some of your abilities have awakened within me."

Sato explained while creating blue and black flames on his hand. Matatabi smiled when she saw them.

"That's great."

"At first I was worried about your lack of sage of six paths heritage. Digesting my flesh should be impossible without it."

Matatabi licked her paws instinctively while speaking with a smile.

"But you have become more and more like me nowadays. You have a very high compatibility with me."

"It's almost like this is fate."

Matatabi softly whispered, and Sato resisted twitching his lips.

Because this supposed fate and the increasingly close connection with Matatabi, was all his intentional doing.

His goal was to eat her flesh from the very beginning, Matatabi simply didn't know she was being calculated by Sato.

"Yes, it does feel like fate."

And apparently Yugito agreed with Matatabi, as her voice came from Matatabi's mouth.

Yugito clearly had much higher control over her tailed beast now.

"Being your sister, I have experienced this the most Sato."

"You were born with a fire attribute chakra, just like me and Matatabi."

"You and her had built a very close relationship. She took liking to you in your first meeting."

"We were even injecting you with tailed beast chakra, those were the days when you had low chakra reserves."

Yugito and Matatabi laughed a synchronous laugh. Today that time had long become a memory.

This time Matatabi continued speaking after Yugito.

"I remember, back when that Hyuga boy Neji first joined us, he said my chakra was mixing with yours a little."

"This was an important step in increasing our compatability."

"This mixing chakra was the main reason your body could replicate my genes later, the hero water incident was just the trigger."

Matatabi said lightly, she was remembering the time she had shared her lifespan with Sato, in order to avoid the side effects of hero water on him.

This was like a trigger, a similar situation as of Naurto and Kurama had happened with Sato and her. And Sato got the genetic traits of her inside his body.

At first she had hoped, that Sato would develop her whisker markings on his face, like that guy Naruto had Kurama's beard. But Sato got her eyes instead.

Which in her opinion, was much better than him getting her whiskers.

"Yes, although that didn't make me capable of digesting your flesh immediately. It did give me immunity to your chakra."

"Which means at least I won't die if I eat you. That was a big step up from before."

Sato scratched his chin and continued with a smile.

"The sage of six path's genetics are interconnected with tailed beasts."

"Normal humans shouldn't even attempt eating a tailed beast. But now I can try, all because of my built up resistance."

"As long as I have Karin's chakra flowing inside me, her Uzumaki lineage and my resistance mixing together will do the trick."

"I will definitely be able to absorb your flesh and become the second you."

Sato said with confidence, he had prepared for this event since the very beginning.

Everything in his story had been building towards this conclusion, and now he will get to complete his wish at last.

"Yes boss, you can have as much chakra as you want from me."

Karin cheerfully held up her hand, this was one of the few times she was looking forward to someone biting her.

She was a pure blooded Uzumaki, which was a lineage directly descendent from sage of six paths. The special chakra which she releases when someone bites her is compatible with everyone.

As long as Sato gets that chakra, it would be like it's his own chakra. Only she can do such a thing.

She was an extremely key figure in making this impossible feat, possible.

"Thanks Karin. Your help is greatly appreciated. Now let's get started, I have rested enough."

Sato stretched a little and jumped onto the podium, he was standing directly inside a small sealing circle. While Matatabi was sitting inside the bigger one.

"By the way, what part of you am I going to eat..?"

Sato suddenly thought of a question, but Matatabi already had an answer.

Pluck

She plucked out a blue hair from her head, and handed it to Sato.

"Eat this!"

Looking at Matatabi's wide smile and muscular body giving him a hair to eat, was triggering Sato's memories about a different guy.

'All might is that you?'

Sato weirdly muttered a bit before taking the hair and holding it tight.

"This is all what my life has amounted to. Eating a hair."

Sato shook his head with a smile, and then ate the hair in one bite.

It was pretty warm as it was the hair from a flaming cat, but it did disgust him quite a bit.

"Don't worry about it. I eat hair all the time! You will get used to it."

"You know one of my signature attacks is spitting out a mouse shaped hairball, after I light it on fire!"

Matatabi happily shared her cat wisdom, which successfully made Sato gag.

But he held it in. If he vomited now he will have to eat it again. And he wasn't going to do this nonsense a second time.

Sizzle

Suddenly Sato's thoughts stopped. He felt an intense burning sensation in his stomach, which quickly spread to his whole body.

"Holy hell, is this how Naruto felt when Kurama was melting his skin off? My whole body feels like it's on fire."

Sato clenched his fist.
