Fugaku, facing his opponents, watched as the Third Hokage and Danzo sealed themselves away together. Such a dramatic twist surprised him!

Across from him, the Second Hokage, bound by Orochimaru's control, stood motionless now that his designated target was gone.

Fugaku seized this golden opportunity. Dismissing his Susanoo, he quickly moved to restrain the Second Hokage, sealing his limbs to prevent further action.

"I don't understand the full story, but this time, the Uchiha clan has won!" Fugaku declared triumphantly. "Next, it's time to drive back the Sand Shinobi… and deal with those two old fossils, Utatane Koharu and Mitokado Homura."

Fugaku gazed at the lifeless bodies of the Third Hokage and Danzo, a smile of satisfaction on his face as he whispered his plans excitedly.

Whoosh! Whoosh!

Just as Fugaku was about to leave, Kakashi arrived, accompanied by a recovering Might Guy, and other Jōnin like Kurenai Yuhi, Genma Shiranui, and Asuma.

"Lord Third Hokage…" The group's attention immediately turned to the fallen Hokage, and they moved forward, calling his name in despair.

"No one expected the Third Hokage to end up this way…" murmured one of the Jōnin, breaking the somber silence.

Many of the Jōnin exchanged conflicted glances as they looked at the bodies of the Third Hokage and Danzo. Some couldn't help but stare at Danzo's severed arm, covered in pale skin and sporting a Sharingan, feeling both anger and pity.

But no one, not even Asuma, attempted to confront Fugaku. After all, it was Danzo's ruthless actions that had nearly wiped out the Uchiha clan. Now, seeing his father die alongside Danzo in a sealing ritual, even Asuma had no grounds for blame. The earlier conversations had spread quickly among the shinobi, and the reputations of both the Third Hokage and Danzo had plummeted.

From the Hokage's perspective, the Third Hokage's actions could still be considered noble. But Danzo… his reputation was beyond salvage.

"Ah… who'd have thought the old man would end up like this?" Jiraiya suddenly appeared, his voice laced with bitter humor as he observed the scene. Exhausted, he had just finished sealing the reanimated Fourth Kazekage, a formidable task that had taken all his strength.

For a brief moment, Jiraiya's gaze softened as he looked at the Third Hokage's body, sadness flickering in his eyes. Despite being the Third Hokage's student, Jiraiya had long been aware of the flaws in his master's leadership—one of the reasons he and Tsunade often stayed away from the village.

The Third Hokage might have been qualified as Hokage, but Jiraiya and Tsunade had disagreed with him on many matters, especially Danzo's secretive ROOT organization.

"Lord Jiraiya, thank goodness you're here! Konoha urgently needs you to lead us now," one of the Jōnin called out, looking to Jiraiya for guidance.

"Hold on!" Fugaku's sharp voice cut through. "The Uchiha have already been acknowledged by the First Hokage. The Fifth Hokage has been decided—Sako will take that role! Let Jiraiya lead? Do you think I, as head of the Uchiha, would allow it?"

Fugaku's Sharingan glowed red as he glared at the Jōnin who had spoken, his voice filled with authority. The Uchiha clan members gathered behind him in silent support, their crimson eyes leaving no doubt about their stance.

"You Uchiha are always so troublesome!" Jiraiya said with a hint of exasperation. "But now isn't the time to argue about this. First, let's handle the invaders, then we can settle this."

Seeing the rising tension, Jiraiya released his chakra, projecting his intent to defuse the situation.

"The First Hokage's recognition of the Uchiha's right to leadership was witnessed by many. The disgrace of the Third Hokage and Danzo is plain for all to see. Arguing over it won't change the facts."

With that, Fugaku turned, intent on taking advantage of the chaos to eliminate Utatane Koharu and Mitokado Homura. Without a word, he left, his clan following close behind.

Jiraiya watched the departing Uchiha, a mix of worry and curiosity flashing in his eyes.

He had no objections to Uchiha becoming Hokage. However, he couldn't help but wonder: Is it really wise to make a teenager Hokage?

And how did Uchiha come back to life?

Jiraiya wasn't the only one asking these questions—everyone in Konoha was curious.

The only one who seemed to have some inkling was Kakashi. His eyes flickered thoughtfully.

Since Naruto's return, it seemed a great force had emerged in the ninja world. Kakashi decided to suppress his suspicions for now, planning to seek out Naruto later to test his theories.

As for the situation in Konoha, the Sand Shinobi and the Hidden Sound ninjas were quickly repelled.

Meanwhile, on the battlefield with Wentai and Wanshe, after an intense fight, Wentai, powered up by Nine Tails' chakra, managed to defeat Wanshe.

Previously, Wentai had fought alone and couldn't defeat the giant serpent. In the best case, it had ended in a tie.

On Naruto's side, after the Third Hokage's death, Naruto took command and dispersed the chakra of the Tailed Beasts.

In Kurama Mode, while maintaining her human form, Naruto stood confidently opposite Gaara.

After Nine Tails had returned to Naruto's body, Shukaku left a final message: "Next time, let Nine Tails look out!"—and returned to Gaara's body in a miserable state.

"Naruto, this time it's a battle between Kurama and Shukaku," Gaara said, looking at Naruto in Kurama Mode. "Next time, we'll have our rematch!" His eyes sparkled with the thrill of battle.

Naruto sighed. Is he really influenced by Shukaku now?

"Uh… alright, I'll wait for you to come to me anytime," Naruto said with a teasing grin. "But for now, you should go. And be nice to your brother-in-law!" He added with a wink. "Next time I hear you calling me that, just look at Shukaku, and you'll know the consequences!"

Naruto sighed helplessly, rubbing his forehead.

From his perception, Temari and Kankuro were nearby.

When Gaara heard this, his face darkened. He didn't say another word and turned to leave, not looking back.

"Sister, brother-in-law?" Kankuro turned to Temari, who had a blank expression, asking directly. "Temari, when did you and that kid...?"

"Huh?" Temari, still mesmerized by Naruto's impressive Kurama Mode, blinked in confusion. "What are you talking about?"

She had been so captivated by Naruto's transformation that she didn't even notice Naruto's teasing.

"Uh, never mind!" Kankuro suddenly realized his mistake. With a bewildered expression, he quickly corrected himself.

Seeing Temari's fan-girl-like demeanor, Kankuro became more perplexed. How could they be in the middle of a war, yet Temari and Gaara were acting like this? One of them was on a date, and the other was becoming best buddies with the enemy!

As Kankuro grumbled internally, Gaara approached them. He urged the group forward and quickly headed toward the outskirts of Konoha Village.

But as Gaara walked, his eyes would occasionally glance at Temari, who was blushing.

Temari's reaction almost made Gaara's heart feel steady.

Could that guy really be my brother-in-law?

Naruto watched the small group leave, narrowing his eyes as a series of notifications sounded in his head.
