What's a surprise? This is what a surprise is!

Orochimaru and White Fang were suddenly hit by the 'pie from the sky,' leaving them dizzy and confused.

The 'Potion' they had always dreamed of having was suddenly in their hands. They couldn't help but feel like it was too surreal, and for a moment, they couldn't snap out of it.

On the other hand, Onoki and Konan watched them, their eyes filled with envy, wishing that it was them in their place.

Mikoto remained calm, indifferent to whether she could become an Beyonder. Besides, as a newcomer who had just joined, she didn't have the qualifications to compete with them. She simply sighed and said, "Congratulations to both of you."

"Hmm, once you take this path, you must proceed with caution," Otsutsuki Hagoromo said, his tone soft but serious. "The path of the gods, while it allows one to ascend to great heights, is fraught with difficulty. Only by staying true to your heart and not being distracted by external temptations can you avoid disaster."

"As payment, next time, each of you must hand over a 'Blasphemy Slate.'"

Uchiha Sogetsu's eyes flickered slightly as he spoke. "If you feel uncomfortable with this, you may refuse."

Orochimaru immediately shook his head vigorously, as if afraid that if he hesitated even for a second, someone else might snatch the opportunity away. "No, no, no, Mr. Adam, I fully agree with your offer, and I believe it's very reasonable."

White Fang strained his mind, finally managing to say that much.

Though everyone understood the reasoning behind it, they couldn't help but wonder if they could be a bit more reserved.

Seeing how eager 'Higanbana' was, everyone could tell exactly what he was thinking—he was afraid of being outdone, and they couldn't help but mutter some complaints in their hearts.

"Very well, since that's the case…" 

Sitting in the main seat, Uchiha Sogetsu's eyes gleamed with a faint golden light. "Then, make your choice."

As the voice fell, a pressure, coming from a higher being, instantly descended like a heavy mountain. The pure, life-level difference in aura was so overwhelming that it felt like a bottomless abyss, making everyone seated on either side of the bronze table feel as though they were struggling to breathe.

"Hermit!" 

"White Tower!" 

"Paragon!" 

"Twilight Giant!" 

"Tyrant!"

Every time Uchiha Sogetsu spoke a title, the immense pressure from the stars grew heavier, like the crashing waves of a storm.

Finally, five cards, each engraved with different mysterious symbols and marked with simple lines representing the titles, appeared on the bronze table. 

The surrounding void was affected, and under the power of the rules, the space twisted, collapsed, flashed with lightning, or disintegrated in strange phenomena.

Everyone's gaze was drawn in, unable to look away.

It was the first time they had truly seen the "Path of the Gods" materialize before them.

Looking at the five exquisite cards, Orochimaru and White Fang felt somewhat awkward, like beggars who had suddenly become rich but didn't know how to spend it. They looked helplessly at the figure of "Adam" at the head, hoping to seek guidance from him.

"Don't be too nervous. Just follow the choice that feels right inside you," Uchiha Sogetsu smiled slightly. After all, no matter what, their paths had already been decided.

In front of the Spectator, "following one's heart" was equivalent to letting him control everything.

There was nothing they could do, as his current "Beyonder Characteristics" was limited. Although the system had opened a store for low-level Beyonder materials, exchanging them required an equal cost, which came from the true "Blasphemy Slate" and the Sefirah, the "Chaos Sea." The entire ninja world was affected, and subtle changes occurred.

For example, some creatures gained Beyonder Characteristics within their bodies.

While thinking, Orochimaru and White Fang, under the urging of some inner voice, made their respective choices.

"I choose the Twilight Giant."

From the very beginning, White Fang's gaze was locked on the card with three crossed swords. His intuition told him that this was the one he truly wanted.

"Not bad, this Pathway suits you well," Uchiha Sogetsu nodded and said faintly. "The Pathway of the Twilight Giant, also known as the 'War God' path due to its corresponding True God, has its Sequence 9 potion: Warrior. Those who walk this path possess strength and agility beyond that of ordinary people. They are skilled with all kinds of weapons and armor, and can master any form of martial arts."

Tsuchikage and the others couldn't help but show expressions of envy. This path was absolutely perfect for 'ninjas'!

And just the name alone sounded incredibly powerful. It was the War God Pathway, after all! Though it simply enhanced physical attributes, ninjas were often the 'glass cannons' of their world—such a straightforward boost was especially beneficial for them.

Furthermore, based on the numerous descriptions by 'White', it was almost certain that the person in question was a ninja skilled in taijutsu and assassination. Now, with the power of the War God Pathway, they would likely become even more terrifying!

"So, what's your choice?" Uchiha Sogetsu turned to Orochimaru, waiting for his decision.

"I..." 

Orochimaru hesitated, his gaze shifting back and forth between the cards of the 'Paragon' and 'White Tower'. 

Both cards were equally alluring, and the sensation that stirred his soul made it hard for him to decide which path to choose.

"Have you made up your mind?"

Uchiha Sogetsu could sense his dilemma but didn't intend to interfere. Both the 'White Tower' and 'Paragon' paths were well-suited to Orochimaru.

The White Tower leaned more towards the abstract form of 'knowledge', allowing one to perceive and explore the essence of the world and delve into its rules.

The Paragon, on the other hand, focused more on practical 'knowledge', concentrating on restoring the original form of material things, enabling the creation of various Beyonder Items. The core of this Pathway was to lead civilization to progress and achieve breakthroughs.

Given Orochimaru's personality, both paths were fitting for him.

The Corpse Cathedral fell into a brief silence. Watching Orochimaru, who was deep in thought, Uchiha Sogetsu did not rush him but quietly waited.

After a long hesitation, Orochimaru gritted his teeth and made his decision. "Mr. Adam, I choose the 'White Tower.'"

"The White Tower represents the pursuit, mastery, and dissemination of knowledge."

Uchiha Sogetsu said slowly, "Moreover, those who follow the White Tower Pathway are closely linked with order and wisdom. The Potion of Sequence 9 is the 'Reader,' which enhances memory and comprehension abilities and allows the use of ritual magic. If one reads a lot of books, it will accumulate a vast amount of knowledge."

Upon hearing this, the others had mixed expressions. Some nodded in agreement, while others were confused.

After all, based on the description, the individuals who follow the White Tower path seemed far less appealing compared to those who follow the 'Twilight Giant' Pathway.

Increase knowledge?

Enhance memory?

What use would that be for a ninja?!

Onoki scoffed. If it were him, he would definitely choose the 'Tyrant.' That name alone sounded incredibly powerful!

"Thank you very much, Mr. Adam."

However, upon hearing this, Orochimaru revealed a satisfied smile.

He didn't care much about the strength of the power. Instead, it was the pursuit of knowledge, understanding the essence of things, and exploring the rules of the world that was truly what he sought.

"One last thing you need to know."

Uchiha Sogetsu lightly tapped the table with his finger and spoke slowly, "The Ninja World is undergoing subtle changes. This is both an opportunity and a threat for you."
