The Hidden Mist ninja stood atop a giant crab, searching for his target when he sensed something approaching from above. Looking up, he saw massive hailstones the size of washbasins falling from the sky, filling the air around him. If even one struck him, it would be catastrophic.

Thanks to the weather conditions, this normally weak technique gained significant power. The Hidden Mist ninja didn't respond with a Water Style technique due to the jutsu's effects. Instead, he pushed off with his feet, leaving his summoned beast behind to avoid the hit and conserve his energy.

When a summoned creature suffers severe damage, the summoning jutsu protects it by returning it to its original location.

Seeing his partner sustain such severe injuries filled the Mist ninja with rage, and his eyes flared with anger.

Summoned creatures are highly intelligent beings, and those who form summoning contracts with them often develop strong partnerships—sometimes even stronger than human bonds.

Just as the Mist ninja was about to perform a hand seal, he was surprised by Tōshirō's sneak attack with an ice technique, forcing him to retreat and cancel his jutsu.

He attempted to use his sword, but Tōshirō, using his advanced Sharingan, anticipated his move and swiftly threw an ice shuriken, forcing him back before he could strike.

Although the Mist ninja narrowly avoided the attack, the young boy's ability to push him into such a situation angered him. He raised his hand, preparing a direct strike out of sheer frustration.

But this enraged attack presented an opportunity for Tōshirō, who discreetly positioned his hand behind him to perform a quick sealing technique. With the help of his Sharingan, he deftly trapped the Mist ninja's hand, forcing both of their hands into an unexpected lock.

The Mist ninja, shocked by this unfamiliar technique, could only watch as Tōshirō gritted his teeth and let out a low growl, channeling all his strength to pull his opponent forward.

With this sudden surge of strength, he bent the Mist ninja's body forward, completing the maneuver by entwining their hands in a complex grip, producing a loud slap sound that formed the "Tiger" hand seal.

The Mist ninja stared in disbelief, his expression shocked.

"No, this can't be!"

How could a twelve or thirteen-year-old boy know this type of hand-sealing technique?

Without time to process it, he shoved Tōshirō away to avoid staying close to him.

But it was too late, as the hand seal had been completed, and once he broke free from Tōshirō, the impossible became a reality. Tōshirō gathered chakra in his throat and unleashed a series of fireballs from his mouth, forming a path resembling the seeds of the Phoenix Flower.

This was the "Fire Release: Phoenix Flower Jutsu," a common technique among the Uchiha Clan. Like the "Great Fireball," this C-rank Fire Release technique boasts high speed, though it's slightly less powerful.

At such close range, even a high-ranking Mist ninja couldn't avoid it, taking multiple hits and ending up in a battered state.

The Mist ninja emerged, covered in dirt and ash, his eyes filled with blood as he glared angrily at Tōshirō.

Tōshirō sighed quietly, feeling some regret.

If he had used the "Dragon Flame Jutsu" at that moment, he could have likely defeated his opponent. But executing that jutsu isn't as simple as the Phoenix Flower Technique, and performing it one-handed makes the seal more challenging.

If he failed to perform it correctly, the loss would outweigh the gain.

In this battle, Tōshirō had a clear plan; his opponent was stronger than him, and he wasn't planning on defeating him quickly.

His strategy was to wear down his opponent's energy.

Quickly, a new round of confrontation began.

At that moment, both of them were intensely focused and failed to notice an ordinary bird observing the fight from a distant tree.

Tōshirō knew his limits, so in fighting his enemy, he didn't hesitate to exhaust his chakra, deliberately draining his opponent's energy.

And with Tsunade beside him as a "rechargeable battery," he took full advantage of her presence.

Whenever his energy ran low, he returned to Tsunade to recharge his chakra, then re-entered the battle. In contrast, whenever his opponent used some of his energy, it didn't replenish. This was Tōshirō's strategy.

A ninja battle is, above all, an information war.

Tsunade wasted no time, extending her arm again to allow him to take her energy.

Tōshirō opened his mouth and gently bit her arm, drawing her energy.

In the snow, once the dust cleared, the Mist ninja stood on high alert, anticipating the boy to appear from somewhere for a surprise attack.

But he waited…and waited, and no one appeared.

A cold wind blew, leaving the Mist ninja with an unsettling chill.

He had been tricked by this young boy, making him so angry that he felt his lungs would burst, and he began shouting furiously.

Still, he maintained enough composure so that, when Tōshirō finally emerged from the snow for another attack, he managed to sidestep just in time.

Glaring with rage, he fixed his eyes on Tōshirō, who had restored his energy, and asked sharply, "How, kid, did your chakra return so quickly?"

Tōshirō had no interest in conversing. He placed his hands behind him and charged forward, giving his opponent no time to think.

The Mist ninja retreated, dodging Tōshirō's close-range attacks, bewildered at how this Uchiha boy had replenished his chakra so quickly—it just didn't make sense.
