Naruto: The legend of Kiba

Chapter 15: Graduation

Chapter 15 Graduation

"Boom!"

The white mist dissipated around Kiba. He let out a long breath, panted twice, and sat down on the ground.

"It's so tiring! This technique is simply inhuman!" Kiba complained.

At that moment, Kiba couldn't move a single finger, having exhausted the last of his strength. He sprawled on the ground, looking up at the star-filled sky.

"Uh... I forgot about the strange power training!"

(It seems he is thinking about Tsunades Power here, it is my assumption)

Kiba suddenly remembered. In addition to his routine practice, he had been focusing on Eight Gates mode, ninjutsu, and seal training. Today's new technique training had completely drained his physical strength.

"Well..."

Kiba sighed.

It would be nice to have more time, especially after graduation. I really hope to graduate soon!

Thinking this, Kiba slowly closed his eyes and fell into a deep sleep.

Kiba didn't wake up until the early morning dew hit his face. He opened his eyes to find the sun slowly rising, its warmth soothing.

"It's already the second day?" Kiba sat up dazed and yawned. He stood up, went back to his room to wash up, his stomach growling.

After washing up and buying two extra-large steamed buns in the village, Kiba walked into the school, returned to his familiar classroom, sat in his usual seat, and gnawed on the steamed buns, feeling sleepy.

The students in the class, intentionally or not, kept glancing at him, their eyes filled with astonishment, disbelief, and a hint of fear. After all, yesterday Kiba had fought two geniuses, smashed Hyuga Yukina's palm with one punch, and defeated Uchiha Hirohiko with unmatched speed. In their eyes, he was no longer a nobody but the top of the class, at least in terms of actual combat.

"Morning." A voice came from behind Kiba.

Kiba continued gnawing on his steamed bun, not responding. It wasn't until Uchiha Hirohiko passed by that Kiba realized he was the only one within a three-meter radius of the back door. Hirohiko Uchiha is greeting me!

Used to being invisible, Kiba was accustomed to no one saying hello to him. He even assumed greetings were meant for someone else.

"Oh... morning." Kiba responded to Hirohiko's greeting in a daze.

Hirohiko Uchiha nodded, sat down in front of Kiba, and said, "The teacher told the three of us to sit together."

"Huh?" Kiba was taken aback.

The seats in the ninja school were free to choose, with no fixed positions. Why would the teacher suddenly ask the three of them to sit together?

Three? Who's the other one?

Kiba was puzzled but didn't ask. He continued to hold his chin with one hand and gnaw on the steamed bun with the other.

Hirohiko sat coldly in front of Kiba, staring out the window, lost in thought.

"Morning." Another voice came from the back door.

"Morning," Hirohiko responded.

Kiba didn't respond, assuming the greeting was for Hirohiko, not him.

The voice sounded familiar. Then, a faint fragrance reached his nose, and a figure sat beside him.

Kiba looked over in surprise and saw Yukina sitting upright. Noticing his gaze, she nodded slightly.

Kiba chewed the steamed bun a few more times and realized, "Morning" was also for me.

"Morning," Kiba corrected.

"Morning," Yukina replied, "The teacher asked us to sit together today."

"Oh..." Kiba replied.

How do they all know, but I don't? Kiba felt a bit left out.

"Hey! Look at that!" The students pointed at the trio at the back door.

"Are you kidding? Hirohiko and Yukina are sitting next to Taki Kiba? What's going on?"

"No, Yukina and Hirohiko don't like being crowded by others!"

"These three..."

The classmates exchanged glances, then all eyes fell on Kiba, jealousy and envy clear in their eyes.

Taki Kiba is so lucky to sit behind Hirohiko! The girls thought, wishing they could sit there too.

This hateful Taki Kiba! Sitting next to Yukina! The boys thought, envying his luck.

Kiba, feeling their stares, turned his head slightly and narrowed his eyes. It's not my fault; they came here themselves. Can't you see?

Hirohiko and Yukina, one staring out the window and the other sitting solemnly, didn't notice the gazes.

The class bell rang.

The teacher stepped into the classroom, walked to the podium, glanced at them, and noticed the trio at the back door. "Before class, I want to announce something!"

The students had just returned to their seats and began whispering.

"Is there a transfer student?"

"No way? I haven't heard anything."

"Me neither."

Even Kiba was curious. Are there really transfer students?

He remembered only Kushina Uzumaki as a transfer student in the original story. Could it be Kushina?

He quickly dismissed the thought. Kakashi is 8 years old and in Namikaze Minato's team. Minato is in his teens or twenties, and Kushina, who is around the same age, should be an adult. Impossible to transfer in.

"Quiet, quiet!" The teacher signaled for silence.

After the students quieted down, the teacher announced, "With the approval of the Third Hokage, Taki Kiba, Uchiha Hirohiko, and Hyuga Yukina, the three of you can graduate early!"

The class erupted in disbelief.

"Hirohiko is graduating early?"

"Yukina too?"

Disappointment filled the air. As the top students, they were graduating early?

"Taki Kiba can graduate early?"

The students were most surprised by Kiba's graduation.

The class buzzed with noise.

Kiba himself was taken aback. I was just thinking about graduation yesterday, and now I'm graduating today? This is too sudden!

However, he considered Uchiha Hirohiko's Shadow Clone Jutsu and Hyuga Yukina's Eight Trigrams Palm, both techniques at the Jonin or near-Jonin level. For ninja academy students to perform such techniques, early graduation was expected.

And he had defeated both geniuses, making him naturally qualified for early graduation.

Everything made sense.

Hirohiko and Yukina remained calm, as if expecting this result.

"Today, the three of you don't have to attend class. Tomorrow, the Jonin assigned to your team will notify you. From now on, you'll be Jonin and divided into teams," the teacher explained.

No class?

Kiba's ears perked up. More time for training!

"Come and get your ninja forehead protectors," the teacher instructed.

The trio stood up and walked to the podium.

"Thank you, teacher, for all your care!" They bowed in unison, then left the classroom.

The teacher looked at Kiba, feeling a bit ashamed. Your achievements are due to your hard work. I really didn't help you. Sorry.

Then he collected himself and started the lesson.

"Okay, let's begin with the theory of uncertain assumptions and mechanical energy."

But the students, watching the trio leave, weren't paying attention to the class at all.
