ALL NOVEL Chapter 18: Elite Zombie General

"KILL!!"
Unlike the other minibosses, this elite miniboss did more than just roar.
Furthermore, he was approximately three times the size of an adult man.
And, unlike the other minibosses, he wielded a huge hammer at least 300 cm long, with a double head the size of a 20-liter water gallon on each side.
Another distinguishing feature was his eyes, which glowed with a blue light instead of the white of the other minibosses. And he wasn't bald; the Elite Zombie General had short, spiky, black, and dirty hair, wrapped with yellowish bandages around his head.
However, his clothes were almost the same as the other two minibosses: a pair of shorts and a tattered t-shirt.
Tanaka exhaled cold air and said loudly, "Okay, let's start!"
Stomping his foot on the ground, golden chains emerged, quickly heading toward the Elite Zombie General.
"Oh?"
When he thought he had captured the Elite Zombie General with the chain, the Elite Zombie General simply jumped high forward, dodging the chain, landing on the roof of a house.
"Crack!"
The tiles shattered under the weight of the Elite Zombie General, after all, even though he was smaller than the other two, he was still a zombie at least 5 meters tall and with a robust body.
The eyes of the Elite Zombie General glowed sinisterly as he looked in Tanaka's direction.
However, he looked away and roared when he was hit in the back by bursts of stones that decreased his life by more than 5%.
When the Elite Zombie General fixed his eyes on one of the clones, he jumped high forward again, towards the clone while shouting, "SMASH!!"
With the sledgehammer raised, held with both hands, the Elite Zombie General swung it down forcefully, using gravity and the rotation of his body to cause more impact.
Tanaka's clone didn't try to dodge and allowed itself to be hit.
"BOOOOM!"
The impact of the blow caused tremendous damage, collapsing an entire two-story house where the clone was.
The sounds of the impact mixed with the two-story house being partially demolished by an attack from the Elite Zombie General.
Meanwhile, Tanaka, who received the feedback from the clone that was smashed by the blow, understood how powerful that attack was and realized it wasn't just brute force. That attack was, in itself, a skill.
Upon impact, before disintegrating, the clone felt as if the Elite Zombie General's sledgehammer was continuously crushing it. It was an attack with shockwaves, with the sole purpose of crushing the target to death.
"If he has an attack skill, it's possible that it will drop for me, right?" Tanaka's eyes shone a little.
Thinking about the cause and effect of the attack, although simple, it was quite powerful. The only real concern would be if this type of skill needs to be used in conjunction with a sledgehammer similar to the one the Elite Zombie General is using.
For now, he put that aside since the Elite Zombie General started chasing his clones, and he had already finished converting HP to MP and then healing himself.
Jumping across roofs and buildings, the Elite Zombie General remained within his target range. It was still risky to try using the Adamantine Sealing Chains, so he first attempted to approach with Chakra Threads.
"NO! DEATH!!"
Shouting, the Elite Zombie General managed to dodge with great agility and flexibility despite having a large body.
Losing the target, Tanaka thought for a moment before creating another shadow clone.
The newly created clone quickly ran, reaching the Elite Zombie General, and then used the Adamantine Sealing Chains being only 4 meters away, giving no space for the Elite Zombie General to escape.
Bound by the chain that came out from the clone's back and connected to the Elite Zombie General's chest, his clones, as well as himself, took advantage and began to continuously attack with stones while using Precise Throw.

The sounds of the stones impacting the Elite Zombie General's body echoed along with the sound of his grunts.

Struggling, the Elite Zombie General tried to break free, and when the clone ran out of MP, even without being hit, it disintegrated.
When the Elite Zombie General gained freedom from the chain, only 14% of his life remained.
And one of his legs was damaged enough for him to hop on one foot.
But unexpectedly, the Elite Zombie General, who roared madly now emitting a thin red light from his neon blue eyes, with a one-footed leap, managed to reach one of the clones and with a shout: "SMASH!" his large sledgehammer came down with the giant hammerhead.
"Booooom!"
The impact of the attack made the ground tremble, the floor cracked like a spider web, and soon it began to deepen, to the point of forming a hole with the impact.
Confused, the Elite Zombie General who hopped back on one foot, looked at the hole, as if missing something.
Of course, what he really hit was not Tanaka's clone but a stone nearby that he used as a substitution.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
Roaring while looking at the sky with open hands, holding the sledgehammer's handle with only his left hand, Tanaka saw his skin color turning reddish, and then the nearby common zombies started moving towards him, like bees to honey, embracing the Elite Zombie General's leg, soon turning into bones and disintegrating.
"So, he also had that option..." Tanaka wasn't in a hurry. If he wanted, he could keep attacking and finish off the Elite Zombie General right now.
However, he wanted to face this miniboss at least once a week, or maybe even daily, since it wasn't that difficult to make him appear. Therefore, he wanted to understand better the attack patterns and skills he was capable of using.
When he saw the Elite Zombie General's health increase to 20%, he didn't wait any longer and started attacking again.
As he attacked, the Elite Zombie General looked in his direction.
With a forward leap like an arrow, the Elite Zombie General came at him headfirst, while raising the sledgehammer with both hands.
"Oh?"
Striking his hand on the ground, the earth quickly rose, forming a solid wall as he mentally murmured: 'Earth Style Wall.'
Jumping back, Tanaka withdrew several shurikens from the ninja pouch for the first time and made them float as he prepared, looking at the weak points of the Elite Zombie General.
When he saw the Elite Zombie General jump over the wall he had created, Tanaka's eyes shone.
"Yippee-ki-yay, motherfucker!"
Tanaka's face turned red the moment he said those words, but he managed to stay steady using Precise Throw, shooting the shurikens at the Elite Zombie General who was in the air, with nowhere to escape now.
"Bang! Bang! Bang! ..."
Out of the several shurikens that hit, only two didn't deal critical damage.
"CR... DEATH!"
The Elite Zombie General exploded in the air into goo.
It was a sound similar to a tomato being crushed underfoot, with juice splattering everywhere.
In Tanaka's case, it was much worse, with zombie goo hitting his face a bit, making his face contort slightly.
"Ugh, gross...!" he grumbled, but before he could wipe it off, the goo turned into black smoke, carried away by the wind until it completely disappeared.
His happiness grew upon seeing the holographic page that appeared.
