Naruto : The ultimate Troublemaker

Chapter 97: A Dandere was gradually becoming a Yandere

On his part, Shikai remained alone in his apartment, holding the sealed scroll between his fingers. He knew that this mission would change his life, no matter what he decided. The choice before him was no choice at all, but a disguised condemnation.

He rose slowly, fixing his own reflection in the mirror.

"Shisui..." he murmured, his friend's name slipping between his lips with pain. "I'm sorry."

His eyes reflected the inner conflict he was experiencing, but also the cold determination that had kept him alive in similar circumstances. And suddenly, his expression changed.

"Ah... She finally deactivated her Byakugan?"

He rolled up the scroll and sealed it again, placing it in a secure hiding spot. Shikai just wanted to play the victim, and Danzo's letter had come at the perfect time. But unknowingly, Shikai had awakened something in Hinata.

A Dandere was gradually becoming a Yandere.

The letter he had received, though seemingly a condemnation, heralded for him the beginning of an inevitable change: the death of Shisui Uchiha and, consequently, the imminent massacre of the Uchiha clan.

However, eliminating Shisui was no easy task. His Genjutsu, particularly his Kotoamatsukami, was almost invincible. To counter it, Shikai knew he had to master a unique and forbidden technique: the Whisper of Shadows (Kage no Sasayaki), capable of neutralizing even the most powerful illusions. But he had not yet mastered it.

He found himself faced with a choice he dreaded: if he wanted to succeed in this mission, he had no other option but to become the host of *Reibi*, the Zero-Tailed Beast.

With a resolute sigh, Shikai drew a kunai and made a slight cut on his thumb, releasing a drop of blood. He began a series of complex mudras before joining his hands.

*"Hiraishin."*

In a flash of light, he disappeared.

Shikai reappeared before what, to the uninitiated, seemed to be forgotten ruins. But for him, Uzushiogakure was much more than a simple destroyed village. It was a reborn fortress of war.

Behind the veil of a powerful Genjutsu stood an impressive spectacle: grand stone buildings, adorned with swirling patterns reminiscent of the Uzumaki heritage. The cobblestone streets, surrounded by lush greenery, were bustling with shinobis going about their activities.

But this was no ordinary village. Uzushiogakure was a fortress city, protected by an invisible dome combining Genjutsu and defensive barrier. To the naked eye, observers would see only ruins. But this barrier was much more than a simple illusion: it could withstand combined attacks from several Kages and would yield only to a power comparable to that of a Madara with the Rinnegan.

On the walls, mana cannons were positioned, ready to destroy anyone who dared to approach.

Approximately five hundred ninjas circulated throughout the village, all marked by an odd submission. They were the remnants of Shikai's bloody missions. These shinobis, presumed dead in the eyes of the world, came from Kumogakure, Iwagakure, Suna, and even Kiri. Some were nukenins, others captured enemies, all bound by Shikai's forbidden technique, which he had developed from the Uzumaki's ultimate technique: Soul Chains.

These chains, invisible but indestructible, bound their hearts to Shikai. With a simple thought, he could kill them. As he passed, Shikai felt their gazes lower, and each bowed respectfully.

His gaze lifted to the sky, where the majestic Ancor Vantian floated.

The Ancor Vantian was a unique artifact, a combination of technology and chakra. Shikai remembered it as if it were yesterday: it was the time when he had just mastered the Sennin mode.

The battle had been long and arduous. Shinnô was powerful, but he had underestimated Shikai. Using his Sennin mode and his natural energy-boosting jutsu, Shikai managed to kill him. The Ancor Vantian then became his possession, now floating above Uzushiogakure as a symbol of his power. And Amaru, kept in a cage, became the host of Reibi.

Shikai leaped with agility, landing effortlessly on a platform leading to the only castle dominating Uzushiogakure.

The building, massive and imposing, was a blend of traditional and modern architecture, surrounded by meticulously maintained gardens. Servants dressed in simple yet elegant attire greeted him at the entrance.

"Master," they said, bowing deeply.

Shikai nodded dismissively, little interested in formalities.

"Where is she?" he asked in a calm but authoritative voice.

One of the servants, clearly accustomed to his demands, responded immediately:

"She has retired to prepare herself, sensing your arrival, master."

Shikai did not reply. He passed through the grand doors of the castle.

The castle of Uzushiogakure, a majestic abode, stretched before him. The corridors were lined with rich carpets, the walls adorned with ancient paintings and elegant sculptures. Crystal chandeliers diffused warm, dimmed light, creating a cozy and luxurious atmosphere. Shikai, with a certain nonchalance, traversed these corridors, his steps echoing on the polished marble.

The wooden doors opened onto majestic rooms, each with its own personality. From plush sofas in the living rooms to the libraries and finally to his laboratory in the basement.

He climbed the grand staircase, his steps resonating in the silence. The windows, adorned with colorful stained glass, let in rays of light, creating plays of shadows and lights on the walls. Shikai, with a certain grace, weaved through these corridors, his mind wandering between the past and the present.
