Relentless waves of attacks crashed against the crimson chakra giant, forcing Itachi's Susanoo to shudder under the pressure.

Even so, the strain of the third stage was immense, draining his ocular powers at an alarming rate. Blood-tears streamed from his eyes as his vision blurred even further—a clear sign of the toll taken by the Mangekyo Sharingan's prolonged use.

Another barrage of attacks slammed into Susanoo, but the chakra giant held firm.

Yet the Asura Path's missiles and the summon beasts from the Animal Path were on the move again.

Countless rockets bombarded Susanoo, causing its crimson body to tremble. Fine cracks started to spread across its base.

Itachi ignored the explosions from Asura Path's attacks and instead covered his left eye. At that moment, he unleashed the full force of Amaterasu with his right eye!

Black flames erupted into a blazing inferno, engulfing the summoned chameleon, rhino, and bubble crab from the Animal Path.

Shrieks of agony tore through the air as the summon beasts were incinerated, their bodies engulfed in the unquenchable black flames.

With a puff of smoke, the summons retreated to their respective realms.

Finally, the onslaught was momentarily halted.

"You truly live up to your reputation as a genius of the Uchiha clan, Itachi-kun."

Orochimaru's gaze was alight with a burning intensity as he stared at Itachi—or rather, at the Mangekyo Sharingan in his eyes.

"Marvelous... The Sharingan of the Uchiha Clan is the perfect kekkei genkai, a gift from the gods. I must have it!" Orochimaru thought, his desire for the Mangekyo unshakable.

Standing silently to the side, the Deva Path watched the scene impassively. Even Nagato himself was surprised at how Itachi's Susanoo had managed to withstand such relentless attacks.

The Deva Path's gaze fell on the Yata Mirror in Susanoo's hand.

"That shield... it reflects energy-based attacks?"

Nagato quickly pieced it together. Most of the previous jutsu used against Itachi had been reflected by that shield. Only his Shinra Tensei had landed directly on the chakra giant.

"Shinra Tensei manipulates repulsive force rather than energy—so it bypasses the shield's defense. If I amplify its power, I can shatter Itachi's shell!"

While Nagato calculated his next move, Itachi seized the brief reprieve to devise a strategy for escape.

"I'll need to take out a few of them if I want any chance of getting away," Itachi thought, his mind racing.

The strain of maintaining the Mangekyo caused his vision to blur further, but Itachi pressed on, analyzing his opponents.

"Orochimaru can wait for now. His Crystal Release makes him hard to kill."

"Scorpion… his puppets are too many, and they're all laced with poison. I'd need to destroy every puppet to neutralize him."

His Mangekyo caught the faint glint of a core in Sasori's chest, marked with the character "蠍" (Scorpion).

"As for Konan... her paper-based techniques are highly flammable and not a significant threat."

"And then there's the Six Paths of Pain…"

Itachi's gaze shifted to the Six Paths, his eyes narrowing as he noticed something critical.

"That one, staying at the back… Could he be the key?"

His focus locked on the Naraka Path.

Reflecting on the earlier attacks, Itachi realized that apart from Konan, all the others had fought on the frontlines—except for the Naraka Path and the large man in front of him, whose abilities had yet to be revealed.

"The fat one absorbs chakra, but the Naraka Path hasn't done anything. If I take him out, I might create an opening to escape."

Itachi swiftly finalized his plan.

Among his opponents, the Animal Path summoned beasts, the Asura Path's missiles, and the Deva Path's Shinra Tensei posed the greatest threats. But the Naraka Path and the Preta Path seemed to hold the most tactical importance.

In a flash, his decision was made.

Susanoo's chakra giant moved in perfect synchronization with Itachi's hand gestures.

"Yasaka Magatama!"

(T/N: Yasaka Magatama is a technique that Susanoo users can use from any of its hands. Due to its structure, it acts in a similar manner to that of a shuriken when thrown by Susanoo — rapidly spinning towards the intended target — and results in an explosion upon impact.)

A string of massive magatama-shaped chakra projectiles formed in Susanoo's hand and was hurled forward with immense speed.

The first wave detonated mid-air, obliterating Sasori's army of puppets one after another in a cascade of explosions.

After the puppets were reduced to fragments, another magatama targeted Sasori's core.

Sasori reacted instantly, pulling out a large scroll from his back. With a swift motion, he summoned the Third Kazekage puppet.

"Magnet Release: Iron Sand Defense!"

A torrent of black iron sand surged forth from the puppet's body, forming an impenetrable shield before Sasori.

"This shield, forged from the bloodline limit of the strongest Kazekage, won't break," Sasori said confidently.

The magatama accelerated, hurtling toward the iron sand shield.

Meanwhile, the Six Paths of Pain, Konan, and Orochimaru split into two groups—one rushing toward Itachi, the other moving to assist Sasori.

The Preta Path, with its chakra-absorbing ability, also dashed toward Sasori, aiming to nullify the attack.

In that moment, the Naraka Path—protected so diligently until now—was left momentarily exposed.

Just as the magatama was about to collide with the iron sand, it abruptly veered off course.

In a dramatic mid-air twist, it changed direction by ninety degrees, hurtling toward the Naraka Path.

In an instant, the magatama struck, shattering the Naraka Path's defenses!
