Naruto: You Call This A Medical Ninja?

Chapter 313: Chapter 313: Another Day of CPU Burnout!

Faced with Minato's sudden gesture of kindness, Tsunade could easily guess what was going on.

It seemed that Namikaze Minato, like Sarutobi Hiruzen, believed that Reiki's actions and attitudes reflected her will. However, the idea of reaping benefits without lifting a finger wasn't all that bad...

"Minato, you're too thoughtful."

"Coming for a barbecue and bringing such a generous gift."

"Reiki, you and Nozuki go get more ingredients and come back."

Tsunade said with a smile.

"Got it, Teacher!"

Reiki grabbed Nozuki, and the two disappeared from sight.

As long as he avoided another scolding, everything was fine. Besides, Minato had arrived with Kushina, which meant he had something important to discuss with Tsunade.

Considering what Reiki had just told her, it seemed that she had given tacit approval to his actions. Relieved, Reiki left immediately...

On Konoha Street.

"Reiki, why are you acting so strangely?"

"Is something going on with the teacher?"

Nozuki glanced at Reiki and the bump on his head with curiosity.

"Uh... it's fine."

"Nozuki... um... never mind."

"Shadow Clone!"

Reiki summoned two shadow clones.

"You two go gather the ingredients for tonight."

"Nozuki, let's find Shisui."

Reiki decided that it was time to inform both Nozuki and Shisui. Their roles were essential for what was to come. After all, considering the last incident, Reiki no longer wanted to keep them in the dark.

If he was going to put plans into motion, he couldn't do it alone...

"Alright."

Nozuki smiled brightly. In the past, she had found some of Reiki's actions odd—whether it was taking over tasks at the hospital, treating family ninjas at low fees, or spending time at the orphanage and reconnecting with classmates. He even managed to patch things up with Asuma and was now something of a big brother figure to him.

[What Nozuki didn't realize was that in Asuma's eyes, Reiki was already the eldest brother.]

But over time, she began to see a bigger picture. Now, with Reiki planning to explain his actions, Nozuki felt a wave of excitement.

Soon, they arrived at the Uchiha compound.

Shisui was resting today. He had chosen not to visit Tsunade's courtyard simply because he needed a break. His eyes had taken a toll from prior injuries, and after activating his Mangekyou Sharingan, the missions assigned by Sarutobi Hiruzen had grown increasingly difficult. For now, he just wanted peace.

But Shisui hadn't expected that as soon as he settled down for a nap, Reiki and Nozuki would show up in his room.

Yes, *his* room!

"Seriously, you two..."

"Can I have some private time?"

Shisui sat up, looking at them in exasperation. Why had he chosen these two as his partners?

"Reiki has a secret to share with us. If you don't want to hear it, I'll take him to my place."

Nozuki pouted at Shisui's attitude.

"A secret?"

Shisui's interest piqued. If it wasn't about training, listening wouldn't be so bad.

"It's not a secret—it's what I plan to do next."

"I think you both need to know."

"And I need your cooperation."

Reiki spoke and then pulled out a scroll from his ninja bag, along with 21 notebooks.

Staring at the pile of notebooks, Shisui's eyes widened. He had a bad feeling.

"I want to support Brother Minato and help him become Hokage."

Reiki said, opening the first notebook.

"What?!"

"Brother Minato?"

"But isn't Lord Orochimaru the only candidate for Hokage at the moment?"

"In a year and a half, he's expected to take over, isn't he?"

Shisui's mind started to falter. He was usually quick-witted, but now he felt out of his depth.

Nozuki was equally shocked. Her brother, Minato, involved in something like this? It was surreal. The Minato she saw at home was often at the mercy of Kushina's temper—far from the image of a Hokage.

"Lord Orochimaru?"

"I've spoken to him about this, and he's agreed to assist us."

Reiki said nonchalantly.

"What?!"

"Wait, let me process this."

Shisui's confusion turned to utter disbelief. His brain was overloaded.

Even Nozuki, who usually thrived in the thick of things, was speechless. Orochimaru, the only current candidate for Hokage, assisting Reiki in elevating Minato to the position? It was unthinkable.

"Have you digested this yet?"

"These are the preparations I've made and the outcomes so far."

"First, I worked to gain the trust of the Third Hokage and secure his favor towards Brother Minato."

Reiki continued, flipping through the notes.

Hours of explanations later, Shisui and Nozuki sat stunned. They even recognized their involvement in some of Reiki's seemingly absurd actions, which now had clear purposes. What once seemed random was actually part of a larger plan.

If Orochimaru had a hobby of studying people, he'd have dissected Reiki out of sheer curiosity by now.

"Alright, that's everything. You understand now, right?"

"I need your support moving forward."

"Our support?"

"Reiki, why don't you just tell me what you need me to do next?"

"I need some time to digest everything you just told us."

Shisui said, feeling as if his mind was fried.

"I… don't get it either."

"What could we possibly do with our current skills and positions?"

Nozuki admitted, feeling embarrassed. She thought she had an idea of what Reiki was up to, but now she was more confused than ever.

"You don't get it? Then let me explain again—"

"No, no, please, stop talking!"

"Reiki, we understand enough. No more explanations!"

...

Before Reiki could continue, Nozuki and Shisui both stopped him immediately.

Any more explanations, and they'd collapse.
