Chapter 40: Teamwork
A fair fight! This approach suited Naruto's personality
perfectly. Though it might seem similar to his behavior in the original series,
his reasoning was quite different. Naruto's personality was indeed
straightforward, but that didn't mean he was a fool. Often, he just didn't want
to use his brain, not that he couldn't.
This proactive frontal attack was Naruto's answer.
"He's a little faster than before," Kakashi
thought, watching Naruto flash to the front.
Kakashi's pupils showed a trace of light relief. Although
he didn't take out his "secret treasure" to enjoy as in the original
series, Naruto's attack wasn't too threatening in Kakashi's eyes.
"Swish!" Kakashi took a light step to the left,
then a sideways evasive action. After quickly dodging the shurikens that came
to attack, Kakashi kicked Naruto in the face with a heavy kick. The extremely

posture.

Kakashi kicked off the ground, intending to force Naruto

Sasuke and Menma's figures flashed out, forming a pincer attack.

behind Kakashi on the left.

Menma pressed down from the front. Sasuke followed closely

underground and emerged behind Sakura. In an instant, he pulled her down by the
ankles. Amidst Sakura's continuous screams, "Thunk!" her body sank
into the ground, leaving only her head exposed.
