The surviving soldiers on the scene seemed to see hope, their morale renewed.

He quickly ducked behind the corner of the factory to avoid being spotted.

At that moment, the Greedy Wolf mecha, having eliminated its target, turned and walked toward the nuclear power plant.

Shen Qiu peeked out and saw that the terrifying weapon was moving inside and not toward him, which made him breathe a sigh of relief. Just as he was preparing to escape, he suddenly spotted a figure on the ground in the distance, struggling as if it were still alive.

Shen Qiu’s expression changed; he took a deep breath and approached to check.

Before long, he reached the figure’s side. As he got closer, he recognized that the person lying on the ground was none other than Lieutenant Han Jia.

“Are you okay?”

Shen Qiu asked.

Han Jia looked at Shen Qiu, who was carrying a firearm, spat out blood, and with great difficulty raised his finger to point at the Greedy Wolf mecha that was moving toward the nuclear power plant. He spoke in a halting voice.

“Stop it! Lure it over here; we can’t let it attack the nuclear power plant’s main equipment. Otherwise, everything will be… it will be over.”

Before he could finish, Lieutenant Han Jia’s body stiffened, and he died.

Shen Qiu looked at the dead Lieutenant Han Jia, his face twitched violently, and he bit his lip, feeling trapped in a dilemma.
