Not a Grimoire

Dear diary,

I overheard Gina and Goodman talking while I was pretending to sleep. It's weird because some of the words they say I simply can't remember. I know they're saying something but the words are just gone whenever I try to recall anything.

All I know is that it's related to the Butcher. Something is broken, and something happened early.

I tried asking Theodore but it seems like he's lost his ability to talk. He acts like a normal dog now.

I don't know why I wrote that. Theodore is a normal dog. I'm gonna go play with him now.
