Not Quite Back to the Future

Alexander “Ageis” Volkov

Alexander Volkov is a first Generation American Citizen born from immigrants who came from Eastern Europe trying to escape the chaos caused by the split of the Warsaw Pact and Poland's subsequent declaration of Martial Law a few years later.

Born in 2010 puts him as one of the most experienced veterans still on the force in Night City. Witnessing the Night City Holocaust and the rebuilding.

His time under Miliatech also spoiled his views of the NUSA and most corporations, the only reason he works for Max Tac is because he believes in the genuine good they can accomplish. Usually using his influence and pull to protect those under him from other corporations.

The old man is a grizzled war veteran and was hired by Max Tac after exceptional service during the end of the fourth corporate war. In all honesty, he was 15 when he enlisted and a damn fool if you could get him to tell you the story.

The nickname Aegis was given to him by those he had saved during his last official field operation before he was sat down for a desk job.

The cyberpsyco had managed to mount a modified defender to his gorilla arms and was happily opening fire into crowds of people while laughing madly about revenge against Biotehcnica of all companies.

Against orders, Alexander jumped from the AV at an unreasonable height breaking his reinforced ankles upon landing, yet he still stood to act as a human shield for the bystanders behind him. The cyberpsyco fed an entire belt of ammunition into him at near point-blank range turning his subdermal plating to dust from repeated hits. The action for sure would've killed him if it wasn't for the second heart implant he had gotten just weeks before.

Eventually, he started being called the shield of Max Tac only for it to eventually shorten to Aegis after he was forced to do a media round because the action had surprisingly gone viral in the day and age of private networks.
