One Piece: Capture the Goddess and Become Stronger [R-18]

Chapter 105: Chapter 99

"Hmm~ Sir...you..."

Ethan gently pinched Violet's waist and comforted her softly: "Don't worry, Violet. We'll have plenty of time together in the future."

"Hmm!"

Violet's voice was soft, a delicate hum like a fragile beauty. It stirred a possessive desire in Ethan, but now wasn't the time to act on it.

The two spoke quietly as they made their way to the location Violet indicated.

Ethan didn't hesitate and opened a small, concealed door in the wall with a casual wave of his hand.

"What's the situation… People?"

Once inside, they encountered guards loyal to the Donquixote Family.

"10 Million Volts: Lightning Chain!"

Without sparing them a glance, Ethan unleashed a surge of lightning through the ground, electrocuting the guards where they stood.

"Oh my god…"

Screams echoed as Ethan pressed forward, flying deeper into the palace with Violet still in his arms. Violet, however, was lost in thought, staring at the door Ethan had opened.

"Is this... a mythical beast power? No! Ethan is a Thunder Fruit user, isn't he? Could it be... he possesses more than one Devil Fruit ability?"

Her instincts weren't far off the mark.

With little resistance, Ethan soon arrived at the antechamber of the palace's chapel, still carrying Violet. The room was grand, with a high vaulted ceiling adorned with golden decorations and religious murals. A soft red carpet stretched toward a large statue surrounded by intricate floral arrangements, exuding a sense of reverence.

"This is the chapel? Violet, is Mansherry beyond this point?" Ethan asked as he advanced.

"Yes, just beyond! There's a wooden door ahead. Inside, there's a prison built into the wall where Mansherry is being held."

"I see."

A few moments later, they reached a dim passage guarded by more of Doflamingo's henchmen. Ethan's lightning lit up the darkness, drawing immediate attention.

"Who's there?"

The guards barely had time to react before arcs of electricity surged through the passage, rendering them unconscious in an instant.

Finally, Ethan stopped before a wooden door. Violet whispered, "This is it."

**Squeak—**

The door creaked open, revealing a dimly lit room. Sob-like wails echoed faintly, the sound of Mansherry's sorrowful cries.

Suddenly, a brilliant flash of thunder illuminated the space, startling several guards near the door. Their attempts to investigate were futile; Ethan's lightning quickly incapacitated them.

Mansherry's voice wavered as she cried out in surprise. Ethan turned toward the sound, spotting a tiny arched cell built into the wall. Thin iron bars served as the only barrier.

Moments later, a petite, pitiful face peeked from behind the bars, wide eyes full of curiosity.

Ethan smirked. The princess of the Tontatta Kingdom? This would be far too easy.

"Are you Mansherry? Don't worry, your father begged me to come rescue you. I'm here to help."

"Wow!! You're the kindest person in the world! Thank you so much—thank you!" Mansherry's delicate voice trembled with relief as she believed Ethan's words without question.

It wasn't manipulation, per se, but rather a testament to the Tontatta Tribe's innate trust in others.

Ethan gently set Violet down and approached the cell. With a simple motion, the iron bars bent open.

"Come on out, Mansherry!" he coaxed gently.

The little princess eagerly tried to leap into Ethan's waiting hand, but her legs gave out beneath her. She collapsed to the ground, weakened from her long imprisonment and poor nutrition.

Ethan effortlessly caught her with one hand.

"Phew~ That was close! I'm sorry for the trouble! Thank you, kind-hearted Onii-chan!" Mansherry exclaimed with wide, grateful eyes.

Ethan examined the tiny figure in his palm. At just 20 centimeters tall, Mansherry felt more like a doll than a person. Her petite frame and delicate features made her seem impossibly fragile. He couldn't resist using his thumb to gently stroke her tiny face and the intricate details of her princess dress.

"Humph~ Kind-hearted Onii-chan, don't poke me like that—it hurts!" Mansherry pouted, her soft protests only deepening Ethan's curiosity.

"I'm sorry, Mansherry. I've always been fascinated by your people. Can you indulge my curiosity for a moment?"

Mansherry hesitated briefly but ultimately nodded. "If it's for Onii-chan, I suppose it's okay… But please be gentle! I don't like pain!"

Ethan's sincerity was so convincing that even Violet, watching from the sidelines, couldn't discern whether he was genuinely intrigued or simply toying with Mansherry.

True to his word, Ethan didn't push things too far. After gently examining Mansherry, he placed her down and smiled.

"Thank you, Mansherry. You've satisfied my curiosity."

Mansherry's long golden hair, braided into twin pigtails adorned with flowers, glistened under the faint light. From behind, her hair seemed to take up most of her small frame, giving her a doll-like charm.

Though beautiful, her pointed nose—an iconic trait of the Tontatta Tribe—stood out awkwardly. Ethan recalled how his crew member Porky's similar feature had changed after encountering Nojiko, amusing him further.
