One Piece: Grand Harem Adventures

He walked to the Radio Room and sat down. He reached into the drawer and opened it. There was a transponder snail. He picked up the transponder snail and put it on the table. Ben saw it had a red hat and red glasses. He picked up the receiver.

"Hello," Ben said calmly. He watched the Den Den Mushi's little eyes move through its glasses.

"Don’t ‘hello’ me, you scum!" Belo Betty's voice erupted from the snail, loud and sharp. "When exactly were you going to tell me that you raided one of the World Government’s strongholds, huh?" she snapped.

Ben thought she was mad. "So you heard about that?" he said. He was about to continue when Belo Betty interrupted.

"Of course, I heard about it!" Betty barked back. "Do you have any idea what kind of spotlight you’ve put on yourself and everyone else? The World Government doesn’t take these things lightly," she added.

Ben smiled slyly. "You’re not mad that I stormed Enies Lobby. You’re mad that I stormed it without you,” he teased.

On the other end, Belo Betty scoffed, her irritation evident even through the Den Den Mushi. "You scum... You’re right about that," she admitted, kissing her teeth in frustration.

Ben’s expression softened slightly. "We didn’t have much time. Robin was kidnapped by the Cipher Pol 9 agents. They were planning to execute her. There wasn’t any other choice," he replied.

There was a brief silence on the line. "I know," Betty finally said, her tone quieter, more understanding now. "You had to save her," she added. She paused, and then asked, "How’s she doing?"

Ben thought back to last night and their time together. "She was shaken at first, but she’s doing fine now. She seemed... happy last night," he replied.

Betty caught the shift in his tone and let out a small chuckle. "Seems like you did more than just save her," she teased. “She has finally opened up to you,” she said.

Ben laughed lightly. "She has. She lost her home when she was 9 years old and has been on the run since then. She joined various shady organizations, begged for food, got called every name in the book. She has suffered a lot," Ben explained.

“But now she has found her home, somewhere where she can be safe,” Belo Betty added.

“I think so,” Ben replied.
“How is everyone else doing?” Belo Betty asked, her tone softer now.

“They’re holding up well,” Ben replied. "No serious or permanent injuries, but they’ve been through some tough battles," he added. He thought about the bruises, the near-death moments they’d faced. However they all looked perfectly healthy with flawless skin afterwards. He thought about Kaya`s theory.

Belo Betty chuckled softly. "So, you’ll be back to your Captain duties, huh?" she asked.

Ben smiles. "I’m going to make sure every one of them is happy, and help them achieve their dreams, including yours BB," he stated.

Belo Betty paused for a moment before replying, "You’ve always had a way with words, Ben."

“They’ve fought some of the best the World Government could throw at them... and won,” Belo Betty added. She was proud of them. "That’s no small feat," she added.

Ben’s chest swelled with pride as well. "The girls are strong, really strong," he stated.

“Strong indeed. I hear a few of them only recently ate their Devil Fruits too," Betty responded, impressed.

“Yes but we still have a lot to learn. We faced Aokiji and completely lost,” Ben said.

“I will make him pay,” Belo Betty responded.

Ben laughed. “I know you will but he let us go,” Ben replied.

“I wonder if he regrets that now,” Belo Betty said.

“There is some history with Robin and him, he was one of the vice admirals involved in the destruction of Ohara,” Ben explained. “And he let her live,” Ben added.

“Interesting, he disobeys the World Government orders,” Belo Betty replied.

“He has his own agenda, he is neither a friend or enemy,” Ben replied. “I think everyone knows there is a strength difference and even after these battles they all want to train already,” Ben added.

“That is good,” Belo Betty responded. She thought they had to get stronger.

“They all have their eyes set sight on the Six Power Techniques,” Ben responded.

“They are useful techniques but who is going to teach them? I can but it will take me some time to still be with you all,” Belo Betty responded.

“Kalifa, a former member of Cipher Pol 9 has joined us and she would help us learn these techniques,” Ben replied.

“You are something special for sure, getting enemies to join,” Belo Betty remarked.

“What can I say?” Ben joked. He added, “She will be a valuable member of the crew to us.”

“You don't think she will betray you all?” Belo Betty asked.

“No,” Ben stated.

Belo Bett giggled. “No woman is save from you,” she joked.

“Including you BB,” he responded with a chuckle. “I miss you, I want you to be with us,” he added.

“I still have a few things to do but it will be soon I will come to you all,” Belo Betty said.

“I do wonder what the news and our bounties will be,” Ben commented.

“I do as well, however the World Government might want to cover it up as well. I can leak it,” Belo Betty.

“We rather not, it's best to keep us low profile for now. We need to get stronger, a lot stronger but when we do everyone will know us,” Ben stated.

“I will be with you when that day comes,” Belo Betty said.

“I know you will,” Ben said.

“Also, there have been rumors that the Second Division Commander of the Whitebeard Pirates fought with the person you mentioned before Blackbeard and lost,” Belo Betty said.

“So it is happening,” Ben replied.

“They say that the Whitebeard Pirate member has been handed over to the Marines. This could set up a big war,” Belo Betty stated.

“It will for sure but bringing the Revolutionary will cause more losses on both sides, like we said, it will not be worth it now, the stars have not aligned yet,” Ben said. He did not want to change too much from the original cannon at this stage.
“Okay, I trust you,” Belo Betty said. “I need to go now,” she added as she put the Den Den Mushi down.

Ben smiled. “I love you,” he said. It has been a long time since he saw Belo Betty in person. He has to be patient.
