Chapter 22: He Takes It All

Charlotte had a sharp look in his eyes; he couldn't afford any more delays. Time is life; the longer it drags on, the more dangerous it gets.

"Slash!"

Charlotte swung his famous sword, Shigure, unleashing a terrifying slash that tore through the air.

Bent Dibby jumped nimbly, the small stones in his hands swelled rapidly like balls under his devil fruit ability, and he hurled them all at the slash.

"Boom!"

A series of deafening explosions instantly resonated, causing a powerful impact on the surroundings and turning much of the buildings into rubble.

Charlotte squinted slightly. It was no wonder Bent Dibby had a bounty of five hundred million berries. This wasn't an inflated bounty from later years; just the devil fruit ability he showed far exceeded that of the guy who threw mucus bombs.

Then, Charlotte slowly sheathed his sword.

Charlotte smiled kindly upon seeing Beta.

He turned and looked into the distance.

The entire Gourmet City was shrouded in smoke, with flames reaching the sky, turned into a pile of rubble.

Charlotte felt melancholic for a moment.

When Ochoku's Pirates discovered that what they were looking for had disappeared, they would go mad.

Charlotte asked Lina to assign some people to supervise the submarine.
