One Piece: My Name is Jack, I'm Very Resistant to Beating

Chapter 24: Chapter 24: The Butt Terminator

[The additional chapter for the review]

...

Falling from a height of six thousand meters to the ground felt like his entire body was coming apart. Jack lay motionless in the crater his impact had created, staring up at the sky in a daze. After what felt like an eternity, he managed to crawl out, wobbling unsteadily.

"Not bad! Not bad at all!"

Kaido crouched beside him, inspecting Jack's body with a satisfied nod.

"Fishmen naturally have tough bodies, and combined with the Oni clan's unyielding resilience, your physique is already stronger than mine was at your age! You've got a lot of potential, Jack!"

"But!"

Kaido's tone turned sharp, his expression serious as he locked eyes with the young boy.

"You'll only grow stronger if you survive. So, for the next few years, you're staying on Onigashima. You're not going anywhere, Jack!"

Kaido's words carried an air of finality.

"Once your immortality can withstand swords and bullets without a scratch, then—and only then—you can step outside!"

With that, Kaido scooped Jack into his arms, transformed into a colossal dragon, and soared toward Onigashima.

Jack, on the verge of tears, wanted to protest.

Kaido, big bro, you can't do this to me!

To improve his immortal body, as per Kaido's method, Jack had to withstand high-altitude falls while using Armament Haki to protect his body at the moment of impact. It was a brutal process, designed to force the Haki to seep into his internal organs and strengthen them with each bone-crushing impact.

The ultimate goal? To survive a six-thousand-meter drop completely unscathed, rendering him impervious to ordinary bullets and blades. If he could endure a ten-thousand-meter fall without injury, his defense and recovery abilities would reach an absurd level—truly deserving of the title "immortal."

But Jack's current Armament Haki was still in its infancy. Though he'd survived the fall thanks to his extraordinary physique, he was far from unscathed. To reach a level where he could endure it effortlessly, rigorous training and time were essential. Age, after all, was a significant factor in developing such power.

Armament Haki was inherently tied to one's physical condition—a consumable resource that grew with bodily strength. Right now, Jack had exhausted his Haki reserves just from surviving that fall.

For now, his small frame couldn't match its peak potential. Worse still, the longer he stayed on the island, the fewer rewards he received from Kimg's encouragement and Maria's training. His dreams of gaming the system to achieve invincibility were thoroughly dashed.

Unless…

Jack turned to glance at Kaido's massive form, a sly grin spreading across his face.

Big bro Kaido, you're my only hope! Let me milk you for all you're worth!

Upon returning to Onigashima, Kaido landed in the courtyard where Yamato was enthusiastically playing a chaotic version of baseball with Black Maria. Armed with a small club, Yamato was batting jagged rocks Maria pitched her way.

Jack had introduced the game, tweaking a concept from his previous life to combat boredom. Unlike most pirates, who gambled or played indoors, Yamato and Maria preferred violent outdoor activities.

"Clang!"

The latest "ball" exploded into powder as Yamato's makeshift club smashed it into Kaido's head.

"Whoops!" Maria winced.

Kaido barely flinched. Dusting off his forehead, he knelt down with a laugh, spreading his arms wide to greet Yamato as she ran toward him.

Meanwhile, Jack lay face-down on the ground, dazed. Yamato had left a clear footprint on his face as she barreled past him.

A group of pirates gathered around Jack's crumpled form.

"Jack-sama! Are you injured? Should we help you up?"

"No! Leave me alone!" Jack groaned, staring blankly at the sky.

"But, Jack-sama, there's no sunlight. It's cloudy today," one of the pirates pointed out hesitantly.

"I like clouds. Now, go away!"

"But you're bleeding!"

"Roll me over and leave me here!"

After much commotion, the pirates finally carried Jack off to rest. Kaido, now transformed back into his human form, frowned at the splintered club lying nearby.

"Yamato!" he barked. "Why is there a spiked club on the ground?!"

"Oh, that's my backup bat! Come on, old man, let's play together!" Yamato replied cheerfully, waving her primary weapon.

...

Two days later, Jack's physical injuries had healed, but his psyche was another matter entirely.

While bathing, he discovered something horrifying—calluses. On his butt.

(T/N: Corns and calluses are thick, hardened layers of skin that develop when the skin tries to protect itself against friction or pressure.)

In all the worlds and timelines, surely no one else had developed butt calluses.

Jack sighed, retreating to his corner to brood in solitude after a weightlifting session.

Moments later, he heard footsteps. The lights flicked on, and two pirates entered, lugging a barrel between them.

"Let's drink here! Nobody uses the training room anyway," one whispered.

Jack overheard their conversation as the pair began to gossip.

"Jack-sama's talent is incredible. Did you see the crater he made from those falls? It's massive!"

"No wonder Kaido values him so much!"

Jack smirked faintly. At least someone appreciates me.

Then the second pirate snickered.

"Yeah, but his hobbies are way too weird. Always sniffing or spanking someone!"

Jack's smirk froze.

"He's even got a nickname—'The Butt Terminator.' I'm glad I'm not on his ship!"

Silence fell as the pirates realized Jack was standing behind them, his face dark as storm clouds.

"Jack-sama, please go easy on me!" one of them stammered, trembling in fear.

"You'll be the first to test the Butt Terminator, then!" Jack growled, advancing menacingly.
