Why would Issho do this? Turning down the chance to be a Marine Admiral or Vice Admiral, only to take a position as a Rear Admiral in the G-5 Branch?

Is the G-5 Branch really that appealing? Compared to other branches, apart from having more funds, does G-5 have any real advantages?

Before long, though, they started piecing together a possible reason.

Fergus, his face filled with disbelief, stammered, "You don't think Rear Admiral Issho might be… interested in Base Commander Byakuya, do you?"

Ain and Tashigi's faces darkened instantly, and both lashed out at Ferguson in unison. "Shut up!"

Despite their anger, Ain and Tashigi couldn't completely dismiss the possibility.

The facts were hard to ignore. Ever since Issho arrived at the G-5 Branch, he had been frequently seen in Byakuya's company.

Even when Byakuya attended high-ranking Marine meetings, he always brought along Issho, despite the latter being only a Rear Admiral.

Their relationship didn't seem like a simple superior-subordinate dynamic.

Adding to their worries was the way Byakuya consistently played dumb whenever they tried to express their feelings toward him.

He never reciprocated, nor did he outright reject them.

When Ain and Tashigi exchanged glances, they could see deep concern mirrored in each other's eyes. Could it be true?

....

Meanwhile, on Skypiea, Byakuya, who had just wrapped up dealing with a Revolutionary Army incident, suddenly sneezed several times in a row.

"Achoo! Achoo! Achoo!" He rubbed his nose and muttered with some confusion, "Is someone bad-mouthing me?"

Then, gritting his teeth, Byakuya growled, "Cursing someone like me, a great guy with a heart of gold? Do they even have a conscience?"

If I find out who's talking behind my back, they're dead meat!"

Turning around, he locked eyes with Tatsumaki, who was holding her mouth and stifling a laugh.

Narrowing his gaze, he asked suspiciously, "Hey, was it you?"

Tatsumaki crossed her arms and tilted her emerald-green eyes, denying it with a huff. "It wasn't me. Don't make stuff up."

Byakuya snorted, his gaze drifting toward her figure.

His hands rubbed together mischievously as he muttered, "You better hope I don't catch you. Otherwise, there'll be no mercy."

Tatsumaki, undeterred, merely scoffed. Her smug expression made Byakuya itch to teach her a lesson, but he held back.

At that moment, a thought from his past life crossed his mind.

Back when he watched One Punch Man, he had always wondered something about Tatsumaki.

She was constantly floating in mid-air, wearing a tight, dark green dress.

Whenever she used her psychokinesis, her dress would flutter, exposing her flawless, ivory legs.

It always seemed as though, with just a bit more, something forbidden might come into view.

So, the question remained: was Tatsumaki wearing underwear?

Of course, even though Tatsumaki's loyalty was at 100%, Byakuya wasn't about to pull a Brook move and shamelessly ask to see her underwear.

He still had his dignity. Then, an idea struck him. "Tatsumaki, take me to Caesar's lab. I haven't been there yet."

Though Tatsumaki was often sassy, she never disobeyed Byakuya's commands.

She lifted her delicate chin and, using her psychokinesis, flew in the direction of the lab.

Just like in the anime, the hem of her dress floated as she used her powers, revealing her flawless legs.

Byakuya remained rooted in place, gazing upward to appreciate the view.

His enhanced dynamic vision allowed him to confirm what he had always wondered.

"Sigh… so she is wearing them," he muttered, a hint of disappointment in his tone.

Tatsumaki turned her head mid-flight, her expression sceptical. "Aren't we going to Caesar's lab?"

"Never mind," Byakuya replied quickly. "I just remembered I have something else to do. Let's go another time."

Tatsumaki grew increasingly suspicious. She landed beside him and asked softly, "Did you like what you saw?"

Without thinking, Byakuya replied, "There wasn't anything to see. What's there to like?"

The moment the words left his mouth, he realized he had messed up. His image as a virtuous gentleman was now in tatters.

Tatsumaki's petite frame trembled with fury. Her small, sharp teeth ground audibly as she shouted, "Byakuya, I'm going to kill you!"

Feeling calm, Byakuya responded, "How dare you be so disrespectful and call me by my name?"

"I summoned you. You should be addressing me as 'Master.'"

Bound by her 100% loyalty, Tatsumaki couldn't resist Byakuya's orders.

Her face turned red with frustration as she grudgingly complied, gritting her teeth. "Master, I'm going to kill you!"

"???" Byakuya was dumbfounded. Was sneaking a peek at her underwear enough to spark such deep resentment?

Before he could issue another command, a system notification suddenly chimed in his mind.

[Warning! Summoned Character: Tornado of Terror. Emotional state is highly unstable.]

[Forcing commands against her will may result in a decrease in loyalty. If loyalty drops below 60, the summoned character may disobey the summoner's orders.]

Byakuya froze. "Wait a second—this system never told me about this when I first summoned characters!"

[Loyalty for Tornado of Terror has decreased to 99.]

"What the hell?! That fast?!"

Panicking, Byakuya quickly asked the system if there was a way to restore loyalty.

[Option 1: Perform actions that align with the summoned character's desires to increase loyalty.]

[Option 2: Spend World Source Energy to restore loyalty at a 10:1 ratio.]

Byakuya immediately dismissed the first option. Tatsumaki's current greatest desire was to kill him. There was no way he'd let her act on that!

"That's ridiculous!" he exclaimed internally.

Byakuya decisively chose the second option. World Source Energy? He had plenty to spare.

Ignoring Tatsumaki's mounting fury, Byakuya glanced around to ensure no one was nearby.

Then, displaying absolute dominance, he wrapped his arm around Tatsumaki's slender waist and lifted her.

Her petite form aligned with his waist as he hoisted her effortlessly.

With a smirk, Byakuya raised his hand and delivered a resounding smack to Tatsumaki's backside.

"Smack!" The crisp sound echoed in the empty surroundings. Feeling the soft, smooth sensation on his palm, Byakuya's years of experience kicked in.

He made his judgment immediately: "Not bad. A fine piece of work."

"Ahhhh! Master, you're dead meat!" Tatsumaki's cry of outrage, mixed with her forced use of "Master," sounded both furious and strangely suggestive.

Anyone overhearing might have misunderstood the situation entirely.

"Oh? How bold!" Byakuya sneered. "Let's see which is tougher—your backside or your stubbornness!"

And so, with Tatsumaki still in his grasp, Byakuya began an impromptu session of discipline, smacking her repeatedly.

As he struck, the system's notifications echoed in his mind:

[Tornado of Terror, loyalty decreased to 90.]

[Tornado of Terror, loyalty decreased to 60.]

[Tornado of Terror, loyalty decreased to 50.]

But Byakuya remained unfazed. His plan was simple: if her loyalty dropped below 50, he'd just use his abundant World Source Energy to push it back up to the passing threshold of 60.

Today, he was determined to tame this fiery Tatsumaki completely.

Tatsumaki's protests began to shift subtly.

Feeling the sting of each smack, accompanied by an odd, tingling sensation, her voice grew softer, almost coquettish.

"Ma… Master…" Tatsumaki's tone carried an unexpectedly alluring edge, catching Byakuya off guard. For a moment, his resolve nearly wavered.

Still, his persistence paid off. As another smack landed, Tatsumaki let out a sound that made his heart skip a beat.

[Tornado of Terror, loyalty increased to 61.]

"Wait… What? Increased?" Byakuya was stunned. Intrigued, he delivered another smack.

[Tornado of Terror, loyalty increased to 62.]

Glancing at Tatsumaki's flushed face, Byakuya noticed her emerald-green eyes shimmering with an almost hypnotic charm.

Her gaze, soft and inviting, seemed to ask why he had stopped.

"Hold on," Byakuya thought, stunned. "Have I… uncovered Tatsumaki's hidden masochistic tendencies?"

This… was not part of the plan.

....

While Byakuya's "discipline session" on Skypiea was reaching new heights, a fierce battle raged below between Issho and Mihawk.

Mihawk had initially attacked, assuming Byakuya himself was aboard the ship.

However, the swordsman he encountered wasn't Byakuya but a blind, middle-aged man wielding a blade of formidable power.

Mihawk was taken aback. Since when did the title of Great Swordsman become so commonplace on the Grand Line?

A single Marine branch like G-5 boasted not one but two swordsmen whose strength rivalled his own. It seemed almost absurd.

Yet, as Mihawk crossed swords with Issho, he realized something: Issho wasn't merely a swordsman.

He was also a Devil Fruit user. His swordsmanship, while impressive, was complemented heavily by his Devil Fruit abilities.

This discovery left Mihawk conflicted.

He wasn't sure whether to feel disappointed that Issho relied more on his Devil Fruit powers than pure swordsmanship or regretful that his trip to the G-5 Branch hadn't led to a duel with Byakuya, who was reputed to focus solely on swordsmanship.

Their repeated clashes stirred the surrounding seas into a frenzy.

Waves rose like mountains, crashing violently against the G-5 Branch. The chaos resembled a natural disaster unfolding.

The climax came when Issho summoned a massive meteor from the heavens, its diameter stretching over a thousand meters.

Its descent left the Marines of the G-5 Branch staring in stunned disbelief.

"That kind of power… it's not human," someone murmured in awe.

But Mihawk wasn't fazed. With a single swing of his blade, he sliced the meteor into countless tiny fragments.

The display of precision and power left everyone speechless.

"What kind of gods are these two?" the onlookers wondered, dumbfounded by the spectacle.
