One Piece: Rise of Valoria

Chapter 67: Chapter 67: Storm Over Sabaody

The humid air of Sabaody Archipelago grew heavier as the two admirals, Akainu and Aokiji, stepped into view. Akainu's molten magma dripped to the ground, hissing against the soil, while Aokiji exhaled a cold mist that chilled the air around him.

Robin stiffened when her eyes met Aokiji's cold stare, her body betraying a slight tremor. Memories of Ohara flooded her mind, the screams of her people and the Buster Call that left her with nothing but ashes and pain. Sensing her distress, William placed a firm, reassuring hand on her shoulder.

"Robin," William said, his voice calm. "We're not the weak kids we were back then. You're stronger now. Let's show them how strong we've become and make them regret what they did to our home."

Robin took a deep breath, steadying herself. The trembling ceased, replaced by a calm determination. She looked up at William, her lips curling into a small smile. "You're right, William. I won't show weakness again."

She turned to Hancock, Marigold, and Sandersonia, who had been watching her with concern. With a reassuring smile, she said, "Sorry about that, girls. I'm okay now."

The three sisters returned her smile. Sandersonia stepped closer and whispered something into Robin's ear, causing them both to exchange wicked grins that made Aokiji shift uncomfortably.

Akainu's temper flared as he watched them completely disregard him and Aokiji. "Last time, I let you scum escape Mariejois." He growled, his voice filled with rage. "But this time, you won't get away!"

William glanced at Hancock, and they both burst into laughter as if Akainu had just told the funniest joke.

"Enough!" Akainu roared, his magma bubbling furiously.

The laughter abruptly stopped as William's expression darkened. A terrifying wave of Conqueror's Haki erupted from him, shattering the ground beneath their feet. The skies over Sabaody darkened as if night had fallen, storm clouds swirling ominously. Black and red lightning snaked through the heavens, illuminating the chaotic sea, which churned in response to William's raw power.

William began laughing again, each echoing chuckle reverberating through the air like thunder. This time, his Haki surged to its full power, an unrelenting torrent focused entirely on the two admirals. With each laugh, a tidal wave of Conqueror's Haki crashed into them, stripping them of the arrogance they had carried moments before.

Instinctively, Akainu and Aokiji stepped back. Fear, raw and primal, clawed at their senses—a feeling they hadn't experienced in decades. They felt like prey standing before an apex predator, their lives dangling by a thread.

Gone was their disdain for William, replaced by dread and the chilling realization that they were utterly outmatched. The truth settled like a weight on their shoulders: even if they gambled with their lives, they could not defeat him.

Both admirals bit their tongues, forcing themselves to regain composure. Aokiji broke the silence, his voice betraying a nervous chuckle. "Aharara! Looks like we're in big trouble this time." He glanced at Akainu, his usual cold demeanor cracking. "Sakazuki… we might not make it out of this one alive."

Akainu's fists clenched, magma dripping to the ground as he gritted his teeth.

William's laughter stopped, his piercing gaze locking onto Akainu. His voice was like ice. "Do you still think I need to run from your sorry ass, Akainu?"

The magma admiral growled in response, but before he could reply, William vanished. In the blink of an eye, he reappeared inches from Akainu, his sudden movement leaving the admiral's observation haki in the dust.

William's voice was low and dangerous as he spoke. "Then you're very much mistaken."

Akainu barely had time to process the words before William's fist slammed into his chest, coated with advanced Armament Haki. The impact was catastrophic, a destructive energy tearing through Akainu's body, wreaking havoc on his internal organs. The energy continued its path, carving through the battlefield and into the sea, creating a massive explosion of steam and waves.

Akainu didn't fly backward from the blow—his body simply gave out, dropping him to his knees. He coughed violently, blood spilling from his mouth as he struggled to stay upright. His hands trembled, and his body convulsed from the shock of the attack.

Aokiji moved to intervene, but Sandersonia intercepted him. Her eyes shifted into their basilisk form, locking onto the admiral's gaze. Aokiji's body began to stiffen, his attempt to use his ice abilities thwarted by her petrifying power. Just as he prepared to resist with haki, Robin appeared before him, her fist imbued with advanced Armament Haki.

Aokiji, unable to defend himself, took the full force of her punch. He doubled over, blood dripping from his mouth, but Robin wasn't finished. She created two clones, one delivering a powerful kick to his neck that sent him flying, and the other appearing mid-air to slam both haki-coated hands down on him. The impact left Aokiji embedded in a massive crater, but even then, Robin pressed on.

A twelve-meter-tall clone materialized above the downed admiral, its colossal foot raised high, ready to crush him. Aokiji summoned a massive ice bird in a desperate attempt to defend himself. The bird shattered beneath the clone's stomp, buying Aokiji just enough time to escape.

Using Soru, Aokiji appeared in front of what he thought was the real Robin and attempted to freeze her, only for her to dissolve into petals. He had no time to react as Marigold's spear struck him, sending him crashing into a mangrove tree, splitting it in half.

Robin and Sandersonia shared a laugh. Sandersonia smirked. "See, Robin? I told you my plan would work."

William, watching from a distance, nodded in approval. "Well done, girls."

Aokiji emerged from the rubble, a deep gash running from his chest to his abdomen, blood staining his coat. Despite his injuries, he pushed forward.

Meanwhile, Akainu, still kneeling and coughing blood, saw an opportunity. While William was distracted, Akainu gathered his strength and lunged, his magma-coated fist aiming for William's back.

But William's eyes flashed red. His advanced observation haki revealed Akainu's intentions before he even moved. William sidestepped effortlessly, dodging the attack.

"Future sight," Akainu muttered, his voice trembling. "You… monster."

William chuckled, seizing Akainu by the head. His knee, coated in haki, smashed into Akainu's face three times in rapid succession, each strike more brutal than the last. He released the admiral, who fell back, his nose broken and teeth missing.

A sudden golden flash lit up the battlefield as Kizaru appeared behind William. "Have you ever been kicked at the speed of light, Tyrant?" Kizaru drawled.

Before his attack could connect, Hancock's haki-infused kick struck Kizaru in the face, sending him hurtling through several mangroves. Red and black lightning crackled from her attack, a clear sign of advanced Conqueror's Haki.

William grinned. "Oh, Hancock, you've mastered advanced Conqueror's Haki."

Hancock smiled sweetly. "I… I didn't even realize. I was just so angry because that yellow wretch tried to sneak attack you."

William pulled her into an embrace. "That smile of yours is dangerous, Hancock. Are you trying to seduce me?"

"Maybe," she teased, her eyes sparkling.

William leaned in, kissed her deeply, and teased. "Let's finish these annoyances and find a place to have some fun."

Before Hancock could reply, Akainu, regaining his composure, growled, "How dare you scum ignore me and flaunt your affection in front of me!"

Sandersonia snickered. "Oh no."

Marigold grinned. "He's doomed."

Robin chuckled darkly. "As much as I hate Akainu, I almost feel sorry for him."

Hancock, her eyes blazing with fury, stepped forward, her Conqueror's Haki spiraling out of control. Her hair flowed wildly, and red and black lightning surrounded her. "You dared to interrupt my moment with my husband," she said coldly. "You will pay for that, you ugly bastard."

William joined Robin, Sandersonia, and Marigold, shaking his head.

Robin laughed. "Crazy Hancock is out again."

William chuckled. "You know how mad she gets when someone interrupts us or tries to separate us. Remember when Rayleigh joked about me staying away from women during training?"

Sandersonia grinned. "She chased him all day, ready to turn him to stone until you calmed her down."

Marigold glanced at Akainu and shook her head. "That idiot has no idea what he just unleashed."

From a distance, Rayleigh and Shakky watched the fight unfold. Rayleigh sipped his drink and chuckled. "Poor bastard."
