One Piece : The Blood Emperor

Blackbeard almost ran away in fear after seeing Burgess gets flung just like that. He wondered if he himself could survive that feat. However as a captain, he won't show any weakness to his crewmates.

"My game is actually easy.."

Luke smirked as he floated down. He also used this game in his previous world when he's on a mission.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Van Augers fired a consecutive shots before dashing away. His main specialty is to take out enemies off guard. No matter how powerful this man they're facing, Luke won't be able to take all the pressure on different angles.

"Fine."

Luke curled his lips. He dodged the bullets and pointed his finger at Van Augers.

Van Augers felt his body getting heavy while running until he stopped. He shouted, "He manipulates my blood! Captain, he's all yours!"

"Hmph!" Blackbeard also reached his hand at Luke then he activated his Devil Fruit.

"Dark Vortex!" He uttered as he started to smile with menace.

"ZEHAHAHA!! So you are a Devil Fruit Holder that controls blood! This will be easy then."

Luke didn't move his position as if he's waiting for Blackbeard to fully execute his power. He felt the power of darkness engulfed him. The power was looking for something in his body as if a magnet searching for it's pair.

A few seconds past and Luke still covered by darkness but he didn't get pulled as Blackbeard expected.

"W-What's going on? Why can't I pull him?" Blackbeard panicked when his darkness power couldn't detect any Devil Fruit from Luke.

"Like I said. You are not trying hard, Teach." Luke flicked his fingers and Van Augers dropped to the ground.

"You! You are not a Devil Fruit Holder?!" Blackbeard pointed at Luke while enrage. Another crew of his just eliminated and he can't do anything to stop the enemy.

"Heh! Think again." Luke narrowed his eyes at Doc Q who was shivering in fear.

"No offense but I find your existence an eyesore."

RUMBLE!!

Thunderstorms formed in the sky and the cloud turned dark. The weather became windy in a matter of seconds. The whole island was like about to face a great hurricane.

Doc Q and the horse slowly floated while being covered by blood.

"Blood Storm.." Luke muttered and both his target swirled inside the chaotic whirlpool of blood.

"Nooo!! Captain! Saaave u..s..." Doc Q shouted at the top of his lungs.

"Damn it!" Blackbeard's body reacted from the overwhelming suppression of the blood. He gritted his teeth and darkness cloud spreads all over the place.

Laffitte took Van Augers and flew away from the area with great difficulty.

Luke saw the approaching dark clouds and frowned. He actually felt dread from those seemingly harmless smoke. He then leaped and floated in the air.

"Black Hole!"

Blackbeard shouted and the Blood Storm slowly got engulfed by darkness.

Blood and Darkness were clashing which causes the area to be even more chaotic. Red and Dark lightnings entertwined together that formed like a synergy that destroys everything in it's path.

Luke ignored Blackbeard and turned his attention to Laffite who was already in a distance.

"Trying to escape?" Luke reached his hand and the flying Laffite helplessly gliding back to where the battle was located.

"Hm? Interesting.." Luke glanced back at Blackbeard who managed to calm the Blood Storm. However, he didn't mind. Doc Q and the horse already reduced to atoms when Blackbeard neutralized the storm.

"Bastard!!" Blackbeard bellowed in rage when he didn't find Doc Q.

"Truly amazing Devil Fruit you have there, Teach. You even neutralized one of my strongest technique." Luke smiled as he also put Laffitte to sleep.

"Now, sit down and let's talk. Please cooperate with me this time or you won't be able to take my next move." Luke placed Laffite and Van Augers to the side. The weather also returned to normal as if nothing happened that almost wiped the nearby town.

"Don't give me that crap! Don't think you can get away with all you've done to my crew!" Blackbeard's body was covered by dark clouds. His expression looks eerie when he stared at Luke.

"*Sigh! Fine.. You asked for this."

Crackle!!

Luke clenched his hand into a fist then it turned into darkened state. He slowly walked towards Blackbeard while doing a neck and shoulder stretching.

Blackbeard saw that Luke can actually use Haki and his expression turned 180 degrees to fear. If anything he feared the most at his current state, it's his inability to defend against physical attacks.

"N-No...! Wait! Let's talk this out!- AHHH!!"

Luke pounded Blackbeard's body without any suspense. Breaking a few ribs will certainly give lessons from messing with him.

Blackbeard's power can neutralize everything and is bane of all Devil Fruit Holders. But he has a big downside. He can't protect himself from any physical attacks.

That is why he needed the power of Whitebeard in the original story.

Whitebeard's Devil Fruit can neutralize any form of physical attacks including Haki. It also has the ability to destroy anything in it's path.

"Feeling sober now? Please sit down. I won't ask you a second time." Luke found a log as chair.

Blackbeard forced himself to get up as he sat down. His face looked ridiculously got even more uglier with full of dark marks. His body was all covered by blood stains, clearly Luke didn't go easy on him.

"Let's start over. The name's Luke. I came here to capture you to send you to a never escaping place." Luke started. His face looked nanchalant as if he's just talking to a friend.

"Why? I never offended anyone other than Whitebeard.." Blackbeard's face was dark as it could be. He was feeling indignant that an overly powerful person was personally hunting him.

"Because of me." Luke shrugged as he smiled.

"You? I never met you in my whole entire life!" Blackbeard got even more indignant.

"Hmm? A pirate is making a reason with a fellow pirate? Haha I never thought that you can actually make a joke, Teach." Luke chuckled in amusement. Pirates are ruthless and so was him. Even though he didn't know how to be a pirate, he knew some hidden rules between underworld professions.

"Here's the thing. You need to choose." Luke narrowed his eyes.

Blackbeard gulped hard. Luke was right. The only talk for someone like them is who has the bigger fist. That's the law established since ancient times.

"Pledge and allegiance to me.. or die?" Luke smiled while crossing his arms.

Blackbeard's eyes shone. The choice wasn't so bad after all. He will be under a powerful man. When he can build his own empire in the future, he will naturally take his revenge from this spiteful bastard.

"I will pledge." He said without hesitation.

"*Tsk! Tsk! That's not how the world works, Teach. You need to express your sincerity to your master." Luke smirked while squinting his eyes at the two unconscious body.

"You...!" Blackbeard's face went dark. He has never been so humiliated ever since he became a pirate.

"If I recall correctly, you just formed your team. That means they have little attachments to you. Plus, if you pledge your loyalty to me, I can let you go wherever you want." Luke enticed more.

"Damn it! Fine!" Blackbeard took a pistol and aimed at the unconscious men.

"Hold it." Luke smiled mysteriously at Blackbeard. He continued, "I actually know what you are, how your power works and your great ambition.

I'm talking about other sincerity. Use your Devil Fruit." He then tossed Blackbeard an apple.

Blackbeard's eyes trembled. He never told anyone his secret yet and how could Luke know this power of his in advance?

"Yes." He then proceeded to extract the Devil Fruit of Van Augers with great unwillingness.

Luke saw all the process as his eyes light up. He took the apple that now became a Devil Fruit.

"What's the name of this Devil Fruit?"

"According to Augers.. He has the ability to warp any projectile he uses making his attacks comparable to a speed of light." Blackbeard explained. When he was about to extract Laffitte's he was stopped by Luke.

"He still has a use. Now.." Luke's eyes squinted at Blackbeard who became nervous again.

"Give me a drop of your blood."

"Why?"

"To see if you really are sincere." Luke smirked.

'Fucking demon! Am I not sincere enough by killing my own crew?!' Blackbeard was drowning in anger.

Luke received the drop of blood from Blackbeard and he placed it on his mouth to taste.

Suddenly his crimson eyes glowed brightly.

"Blackbeard, do you accept me as your master?"

"Y-Yes." Blackbeard didn't know what's going on, but he felt something in him got tugged. It was as if he lost his freedom.

"Contract complete." Luke chuckled. He was clearly happy at the moment as he said,

"Congratulations Blacky, you got scammed."
