One Piece : The Blood Emperor

"Me! Me! Me! Big bro Luke, I'm your biggest fan! You gotta teach me how to learn that thing Big bro Luffy did! Big bro Luffy is so strong! I love you both to death!!"

Yosaku was first to jump much to the surprise of the crew. His face cried in a comical way as he almost grabbed Luke's feet just to beg.

"Damn idiot! Where's your reservation as a swordsman?" Zoro instantly facepalmed in embarrassment after he saw Yosaku's action.

"Oh Yosaku.. You don't have to flatter me like that! Nyahahaha!" Luffy felt butterflies in his stomach as he swayed left and right in happiness.

Luke also chuckled as he replied, "Don't worry. I got you, buddy." He paused as he stared at everyone as he asked,

"Anyone else?"

"Wait. What ability Yosaku was referring to? Was it Luffy's arm getting big?" Johnny asked in confusion.

"Hmm. No. I guess we need some demonstration here, Captain." Luke made a way for Luffy. He added,

"It's some sort of aura suppression ability. Luffy will demonstrate it. Anyone who wants to experience this pressure go to one side and those who don't, stay near me. I will block the pressure for you."

Nami immediately went beside Luke. Although she was curious about that ability, she didn't want to experience it either.

Usopp got nervous, but he put up a brave stance as he shakily faced the unknown.

Even though Sanji already experienced that mysterious pressure, he still wanted to get familiarize with it.

Surprisingly, other than Nami, all the crew faced Luffy. Even Liz got curious so she also tagged along.

Yosaku's knees went weak even though Luffy's ability didn't started yet.

"Are you a masochist? If you're this scared, you better step aside." Zoro got bothered by the shaking Yosaku as he knocked the latter's head with his sword handle in annoyance.

"Big bro Zoro! I gotta feel this ability this one time. It's so cool yet terrifying." Yosaku replied as he clutched at Zoro's feet.

"Begin." Luke nodded as he created an energy bubble for Nami.

Nami was of course surprised by the bubble but her curiosity was focused on the group.

"Yosh!! Mina!(Everyone!) Get ready!" Luffy calmed his breath as he concentrated in his mind. He's still new to the ability so he needed some inspiration for it. Recalling his unwavering ambition and dream, his friends and family, experiences, everything that made his heart go firm.

The air stilled as the crew waited.

They could feel something invisible was coming at them like a wave of tsunami.

"W-Wait!-" Usopp wanted to back out in fear when..

Conqueror's Haki!

BOOOOM!!!

Going Merry suddenly shook..

"UWAAAH!!"

Immediately, Usopp, Yosaku and Johnny kneeled to the floor from the pressure. Such a mysterious pressure that wants to bend their Will.

Luffy instantly transformed into someone the crew didn't know about. He still looked like Luffy, but something that they couldn't point out what's the difference.

BOOOOOOM!!!

The pressure doubled all of a sudden.

"Oh? He's improving little by little." Luke who also shouldered the pressure, smiled at the spectacle. He was happy that Luffy learned the essence of the ability. From now on, it will be easy for Luffy to improve it again.

"Alright Luffy, you can stop now." Luke tapped Luffy's shoulder.

"Pheeeew!" Luffy exhaled lots of air as he closed his eyes. When he opened his eyes, he was estatic that his Conqueror's Haki got improved once again.

Meanwhile, Usopp barely left little consciousness as he was shaking really hard.

Yosaku and Johnny totally lost consciousness from the improved version of Luffy's ability.

Sanji and Zoro had sweats on their faces. They were secretly gritting their teeth just to not fall down.

Especially Zoro was in utter disbelief. From the first moment he met Luffy, he thought the guy was only above average in power. However, now that he experienced it, he was pressured by how much he was left behind.

Liz also sweated, but not too much. She was surprised after knowing such ability existed. The ability was clearly intending to bend her Will.

Nami was confused and shocked at the same time. She didn't feel nor heard what was going on outside the bubble, but she saw everything unfold. She got scared thinking if she also experienced the pressure, she might lose consciousness just like Yosaku and Johnny on the ground.

"Everyone. There's a few hours break. Those who want to do something, eat, take a bath and whatever, go ahead. We'll huddle again later and I'll explain to you guys of Luffy's ability and some things related to it."

After Luke said his piece, he went to a far corner to relax as if nothing happened.

"Wooooo!!! Eat! Meat! Yahahaha! Sanji! Sanji! I want lots of meat!!" Luffy sure knows how to disturb everyone with his loud voice.

Sanji pretended to cough as he went to the kitchen to prepare the food.

Hours later...

"Huddle up!" Luke yawned as he shouted. Having spent most of his main power these days made him drowsy everytime. He need to find a source soon or he'll sleep all day long to preserve his power. The only power he could use right now is his Devil Fruit ability and Haki.

'Hmm. I should create some homies soon. I can't wait to experiment this marvelous power of Big Mom.'

Minutes later, the Strawhats huddled together. They regained their vigor as they stared at Luke with intense conviction.

Meanwhile, Luffy was sitting at Going Merry's head nearby as he watched the crew while grinning happily.

"I'm guessing all of you wants to be trained huh? So, who here wants to not be trained? Raise your hand." Luke reversed the question.

"Hmm? Liz?"

Everyone stared at Liz who raised her hand. They were puzzled why she backed out to be trained.

"I'm deeply sorry. I'm still true to my words that I am only a temporary crew of your group." Liz smiled as she said.

Luffy glanced at Liz in silence.

Back in Syrup Town, they met Liz who suddenly appeared out of nowhere and offered help to heal the group while fighting with Black Cat Pirates. She stated that she wished to go to the Grandline to find a certain place which she didn't specify.

Luffy was amazed by her healing ability and recruited her to be their crew doctor but she refused and she can only be a temporary crew. In return, she can heal their injuries if needed.

"It's fine if you want to learn. You're in our turf so technically you're one of us." Luke said calmly.

"I still refuse to learn it. I know my limits. That ability is very hard to learn in my opinion." Liz smiled as she said her evaluation of Luffy's Conqueror's Haki.

Luke was surprised as he nodded. Of course he wasn't planning on teaching the Strawhats this absurd ability. Even he can only release a pressure of real Conqueror's Haki that's enough to confuse a sea cow. Well, it's not that he didn't have that capability to learn it, but he never tried learning, not even once.

"Okay. Step aside first. You can also watch how they train. This is an open guidance anyway." Luke shrugged as he commanded the group to form a horizontal line.

Zoro, Sanji, Yosaku, Johnny and Usopp lined in order.

"Nami?" Luke glanced at Nami who felt giddy.

"I want to be trained, but just like Liz said, Luffy's ability seems hard. Don't get me wrong! I want to get stronger too but in a different way." Nami explained while being flustered.

"Smart. Go with Liz first. I will let you train in easy way." Luke chuckled as he again glanced at the five men.

Usopp wanted to say something. It was as if he got scammed by Nami with words. Whatever, he's a brave man. He'll definitely learn something from Luke.

"Truth be told. That ability of Luffy is very, I mean 'VERY' hard to learn." Luke smiled in a mysterious way.

"Why is that?" Sanji asked.

"Hmm. Let's just say.. out of ten million individuals, only one can learn that ability. It's not a joke. That's my fair estimation." Luke rubbed his beardless chin as he contemplated.

Everyone was utterly shocked including Luffy.

"That's why I prepared a different training course for you guys. It will only be a waste of time if I push that ability on you when the result is almost non existent." Luke shrugged.

"How can you be so sure that we're not qualified? You don't even know us. You don't know how much time we spent our lives on training." Sanji frowned as he didn't like to be under estimated.

"Oh? Heh. You agree with him?" Luke chuckled as he stared at the rest.

Zoro, Johnny, Yosaku and Usopp nodded simultaneously.

"Good. Let's put your courage to test then. I say courage since that ability of Luffy has something to do with it." Luke's smile made the group have goosebumps all over their body.

"Who has the courage to go first?"

"Me!"

"Hm?" Out of the men, Luke didn't expect for Usopp to step forward.

"I-If were talking about courage, I'm the one who's at the top!" Usopp stuttered as his stiff body assumed a soldier stance, of course his body was shaking.

"Right." Luke nodded as he glanced at Luffy. He said,

"Luffy, what I'm about to do, don't panic."

"Sure." Luffy readily agreed as he was curious what Luke was about to do.

The rest of the crew began to feel unsettled. Especially Usopp who's ready to wet his pants in fear.

"Sorry Usopp, the test of courage is about..."

"To experience death."
