One Piece : The Blood Emperor

A/N : Majority voted on Non-Harem. However, Luke's nature pertaining to opposite gender is questionable based on his past records. (He likes playing around with women in his previous world.) He may also play around with women characters of One Piece but it also comes with valid reason since he's a man with complicated background. So he only need one woman to 'move' him or maybe the other way around. (Who knows?)

"Well, if you build a country full of gold in short period of time, how much would you sell that country?" Luke ignored the reaction of the group as he explained. For him, money don't mean a thing since he always have ways to get some in his previous world through killing.

"Uuuuu... My money..." Nami cried in a comical way as she started regretting consuming the Rumble Fruit.

"Once we find a auction house, we'll get the money." Luke rubbed more salt at Nami's suffering as he grinned from ear to ear.

"You dare?! I won't let you! That's my treasure! Once I have my retirement plan, I'll let Nojiko consume it in the future." Nami huffed in indignation.

"Fine. Massage me for ten days for losing the bet." Luke shrugged as he didn't mind if Nami wants to throw away that fruit or not. He already gave it to her so it's all good for him.

"No! Two days at most!"

"9." "3!" "8."

"..."

In the end, the two reconciled of Nami giving massage to Luke for five days.

Luke planned to let Nami massage his shoulders and legs in his free time in the following days.

Zoro was puzzled why Sanji didn't react when Nami was having close interaction with Luke.

"What?" Sanji turned his head as he saw Zoro's weird glance.

"The sun must be rising west from tomorrow onwards." Zoro drank his booze as he mocked.

"What are you trying to imply, moss head?!" Sanji got irritated after that mocking stare of Zoro.

"Huh!? You want a fight!?" Zoro was also riled up as he picked up his sword.

"Huuuh!? Says the dumbass who got first smacked in the head by a wooden club?!" Sanji banged his head at Zoro's.

Both men were having disagreements while Yosaku, Johnny and Usopp tried to pull the fighting men off each other.

Luke just laughed at their antics as he laid back on his favorite chair.

"What about that other Devil Fruit you have, Luke? Do you know it's power?" Liz was curious as she asked.

"Oh, this fruit?" Luke took a fruit out of nowhere as he continued, "Once you consume this fruit, you can manipulate the luck of the people around you."

"Luck?" Nami also got interested.

"Let's say you consumed this Devil Fruit. Once you touch a random person, you can dictate his or her fortune or luck. If you take your target's luck, that target will experience misfortune depending how high the luck you absorb. If a man have negative luck, he will probably be strucked by thunder a million times for just a day. That's how terrible it's power. And bad luck is contageous too." Luke patiently explained.

Those who eavesdrop shivered as they stared at the Devil Fruit in fear.

"User of this fruit is extremely lucky. You will never experience loss in gambling. You can evade danger with heaven defying luck. Fortune after fortune will come in your way until you spent all the luck you absorbed." Luke added.

"That explains why this fruit is also in my category.." Nami muttered in a daze. Indeed she loves gambling and being a thief. This fruit is perfect for her on a daily basis.

Everyone agreed as they saw the Devil Fruit in a new light. At least they now know what kind of Devil Fruit it was.

Five days later...

Strawhat crew arrived at Logue Town. Luffy was excited to visit the hometown of the former Pirate King and to resupply the goods at the ship.

Along with the Strawhats, Fullbody and his men finally gained their freedom. However, when their ship arrived at Logue Town, they were all sleeping soundly as Luke did something to their memories.

During their days of training, Zoro and Sanji finally caught the gist on how to utilize their Observation Haki. They can now evade most of the attacks of Fullbody and his men while in blindfold. However, their attackers are average people so there's still room for many improvements. When reaching the grandline, they will probably use stronger opponents as their training partners.

Meanwhile, Luke received the news of Laffitte's discovery of Shiki's floating island. He's planning to transport there at same day he arrive at Logue Town.

Luke knew that Luffy and others will definitely face some troubles in the Town because of Smoker, but he didn't worry about it. Luffy's power rose to a whole new level so their journey will be probably sailing smooth this time.

Just like usual, Luke and Liz remained on the ship as the guard.

"I will be visiting a place. I'll be back by afternoon before the ship sails." Luke stood up as he said to Liz.

Liz agreed like usual.

After Luke vanished, Liz stared at the distance sea as she muttered as she smiled sweetly,

"Meliodas, I'll see you soon."

Swish!

Luke arrived at one of the floating islands as his face considerably paled. Before him was Laffitte who already bowed as greeting.

"Where's Teach?" Luke glanced around, failing to see any shadows of Blackbeard.

"I already sent him to the main base of Shiki. It's his wishes. He wanted to take Shiki's head before leaving. Seems like he's on a rush too." Laffitte replied.

"Hmm? What's this Blacky up to now? Whatever, my time is limited too. I want you to help me locate every beast you can find. Lure them to my direction." Luke started floating as he sensed a nearby beast to slaughter.

And without any suspense, Luke killed every beast he could find in every island using appropriate Haki as one shot one kill pattern. After slaughtering thousands of beasts, his original lifespan got restored with bonus strength.

He didn't spare anything from ants or fishes up to giant mutated beasts.

His strength right now already tripled than the original. He was confident that he could rival Big Mom even if she uses her Homies.

The lifespan of the beasts are ranging from hundred to thousands of years. It's more than enough to restore his depleted lifespan.

RUMMMMBLE!!

"Hmm?" Luke noticed that the floating island were shaking hard.

"Blackbeard probably finished Shiki before leaving." Laffitte commented.

"It's fine too. I already finished my business. And the Devil Fruit should be in the base. I'll take it now." Luke was about to leave when he paused, "Right. Led the residents of this island to a better island where they can live in peace. Send me their address later. Also, find me a desolate island in the middle of calm belt near grandline. Just leaving the runic dagger there is fine."

"Will do." Laffitte bowed before flying to a certain area of the floating islands to help the residents.

Luke arrived at the mansion and he saw piling corpses of Shiki's crew. Nobody left alive as Luke passed by. He absorbed their souls silently as he headed towards Shiki's main room.

As Luke proceeded, he paused when he noticed a clamoring sound at a certain room.

"Hm? A wounded... duck?" Luke saw a cage with a fairly large duck in it. It was struggling to headbutt the cage despite it's heavy injury.

Although the island was falling, Luke wasn't in a hurry. He approached the duck as he frowned. He was about to kill it to take it's soul but he recalled a vague scene as this duck looks familiar to him.

When he finally realized it, he paused as he recalled his daughter.

"That's right... My daughter used to tell me she loves this... snotty duck." Luke took a deep breath. He immediately broke the cage and carefully held the duck.

"Guuuuaaaa!!" The duck tried to stand but it failed. It was too spent as if someone just beat it almost to death.

"Do you want to leave this place?" Luke asked.

The duck's eyes shone as it nodded vigorously at Luke.

"Alright. Hold on." Luke slowly carried the duck from his back instead of encasing it from his energy bubble. Before he left the room, he took some valuable experiment documents and some liquid samples as these might come in handy in the future.

He carried the duck until he found the room of Shiki and a Devil Fruit silently laid on a bed. Shiki's corpse also laid flat on the ground as Luke absorbed it's soul.

Shiki's soul didn't give him much boost. In fact, it was the same as Don Krieg. Shiki must be relying too much on his Devil Fruit's power.

"This Teach. So irresponsible." Luke was annoyed as he kept the devil fruit.

"Guuuuaaaa!!!" The duck shivered when it saw Shiki.

"Don't worry, he's dead. No one's gonna hurt you anymore." Luke assure the duck as he started levitating to let the floating island fall to the seas.

Luke wondered what kind of third ability Blackbeard absorbed that he played all of Shiki and his men. Anyway, he will plan to summon him soon.

He could also tell the duck was traumatized by Shiki's presence alone.

The duck stared at Luke in silence. It was looking at Luke as if it's new family.

BOOOOOM!! BOOOOOM!!

Luke watched the floating islands smashed the seas causing huge sea waves.

"Where do you want to go little guy?" Luke asked the duck for a direction.

"Guuuuuaaa!!!" The duck rubbed it's head at Luke. Some snots even spread at his clothes but he didn't mind.

"Hmm? You want to go with me?" Luke saw it's intention. He was partially responsible for the duck since he destroyed it's home.

"Guuuua!! Guuuua!!" The duck nodded as it flapped its wings.

Luke noticed that the duck have lightning sparks slowly dances it's body as it probably expressed it's excitement.

"Hmm.. Sure. I'll introduce you to my friends. They'll surely like you." Luke agreed. With that, he used Flying Raijin Technique together with the duck as the two disappeared at their spot.
