Two powerhouses exchanged devastating blows enough to stagnate the air in the battlefield.

"You seemed stronger still despite your age, Newgate. I hope your back won't break as our fight drags on a bit longer." Bullet sniggered. His whole body was covered by Haki. His Conquerors Haki continued to erupt in wider scale.

His goal after escaping the Impel Down is to hunt every powerful pirates in the sea. Whitebeard is the current strongest man in the world so it is natural he will hunt this giant first before targeting others.

He liked to do things alone but after accepting some terms with Luke, he agreed to form a cooperation with the latter as his boss.

"Hmph!" Whitebeard replied with a snort. His body erupts with power as their clash goes on.

While his hand stuck to his enemies, his other hand holding his Naginata waved.

SWISH!

Another wave of attack is about to descend.

Bullet saw this move and his expression warped into disbelief. This incoming attack is far more powerful than before. Instictively, he reduced the momentum of his advance to parry this move.

"Die boy!"

Whitebeard eyes erupted with killing intent as he slashed down his weapon with might causing the space to ripple.

CRACK!!! CRACK!!!! BOOM!!!!

Bullet felt like being slapped by a mountain as he forcefully gritted his teeth. He was in awe that he can't still match the strength of this monster in front of him.

His body propelled downwards like a rocket and slammed to the sea, startling everyone in the field.

"Such terrible power.." Blackbeard's expression changed for the worse. He never expected his backup couldn't even take a few strikes from Whitebeard. His plan to wear down Whitebeard doesn't seem like working. Instead, the latter was going all out to eliminate everyone as fast as possible.

"This old man's strength is not a joke." Irene grinned with relaxed face. She appeared nonchalant despite the apocalyptic scene before her.

"Truly a worthy Emperor." Worthless Emperor commented on the side with a look of admiration.

Meanwhile, the remaining members of Whitebeard fleet cheered. Facing the great pressure from Machia, they still paid attention to their pops. Seeing the situation is about to be reversed, their morale soared to the peak.

Whitebeared eyed Blackbeard from above. He glided downwards without hesitation. He couldn't wait to crush this unfilial betrayer as soon as possible.

"He's coming here!" Wapol's knees already turned jelly. He very much regretted coming to the New World and on top of that waging war with an Emperor of the Sea. He wished he could turn back time, marry a beautiful wife and live a peaceful life. Now it's too late. He's going to die without a burial.

"Slow him down!" Blackbeard hurriedly issued a command. It's too early for him and Whitebeard to made contact.

Worthless Emperor and Ishida started to fire dozens of Energy Blasts towards Whitebeard.

With just a wave of his weapon, Whitebeard easily swiped the incoming blasts. His eyes never left on Blackbeard.

"Go save Bullet! Dammit!" Blackbeard shouted to the nearby prisoners. He can't let his partner die in this crucial situation. He still need him to wear off Whitebeard.

"Weehahaha! It's my time to shine now!!" Burgess made a champ pose. His body erupts with hot steam as if he's about to burn up.

As one of Blackbeard's crew, he was granted by Blackbeard a Devil Fruit named Steam-Steam fruit which enables his body temperature to rise up and melt everything he touches.

The nearby blackbeard crew also made way for the excited Burgess. Although they were confident of this brawny fellow, his opponent is on a different level. They wanted to see the result of their clash.

Swoosh!

Whitebeard coldly snorted when someone tried to face him head on. He was a bit angry that his title as an Emperor has been underestimated like this. His eyes twinkled with unrestrained killing intent.

Balling his fist, he smashed down with force.

"I'll melt you old man!" Burgess also threw a punch as he fully activated his Devil Fruit power. As long as their fist touches, he can be sure to melt his target without a doubt.

"Oh no.. Something's wrong here." The calculative Blackbeard muttered. His guts were telling him a bad premonition. This feeling kept him safe from disasters. The Whitebeard right now seems different as if he wasn't hindered by his old age. The power he exudes kept on increasing without stopping.

BOOM!!

Blackbeard turned his head to see Burgess got smashed deeply to his ship.

It wasn't even a competition. Burgess instantly got defeated by Whitebeard with a single punch.

"He's coming hot." Irene ignored Burgess in the pit and saw Whitebeard getting closer to their ship.

"Irene, make your move. Stop him while we recover our men. Then all of us attack together at once." Blackbeard said with a gritted teeth. He also commanded the others to continue attacking Whitebeard.

However, no matter Worthless Emperor and Ishida fired their attacks, Whitebeard still fended all of it.

"I can't, captain. I'm just a helpless woman. You can do it instead." Irene smiled while grinning at Blackbeard. She may be able to stop Whitebeard but her mood won't allow her to do anything.

She wanted to know the full capability of her captain if she really entered the right crew. In fact, she only entered the crew for another aim which needed the help of her crew in the process.

After hearing that Blackbeard was aiming to slay an Emperor of the Sea, her interest peaked and joined the crew together with Machia whom she met along on her journey.

If her captain can't even stop Whitebeard from rampaging, she and Machia might as well leave the crew and find another which will help achieve her goal.

"Damn!" Blackbeard cursed. He clearly knew how valuable this woman in his crew. However, controlling her is such a headache for him. This woman is too headstrong and does whatever she wants.

Having no other choice, he decided to show some cards.

Everyone halted their fight just to watch this scene. It could be said that once Whitebeard landed his attack, everything will be over. To them, Blackbeard is just a minor pirate who dreams big by defeating Whitebeard pirates.

Even the onlookers paid much attention to it.

However, when everyone thought a clash was about to unfold, a bizarre thing happened.

By the time Whitebeard was about to smash down his weapon towards Blackbeard and his ship, his field of vision suddenly blurred for a second.

He felt his foot stepped on a shattered land debris. Before he could process whatever was going on, his expression changed and forcefully swiped his weapon on his back, creating a space ripple that caused a huge tsunami.

When everything cleared, he noticed no one appeared at close range. Just now, he felt someone was tugging on his weapon from behind.

His eyes narrowed when he noticed he was back in his original position before the clash. He also saw Blackbeard in the distance with his crew.

"This ability.. " He muttered with a deep frown on his face.

Not only him. Some powerful individuals also noticed that Blackbeard has the ability to teleport in an instant.

"POPS!" The Whitebeard pirates nearby finally reacted and tried to get close to their leader. However, prisoners kept them busy.

Marco already made a full recovery from Irene's attack and was matched by Garou. This unknown guy from Blackbeard crew kept on losing in their bout, but he insists on coming like a plague.

Garou also stared Whitebeard with gleam on his eyes. He felt terrible when the other party didn't even saw him as an opponent and instead went to his captain in a hurry.

Whitebeard appeared calm but the fallen comrades made him mad from within. He gave a cold hum and saw the giant Machia nearby. This rampaging giant was the culprit and has to die.

killing intent boiled in the air. Everyone looked at Whitebeard with horror in their eyes. One thing enetered their mind.

Meanwhile, Meliodas in the distance was frowning. In fact, his whole crew had serious look on their faces. Even Escanor looked dignified.

"I've never seen Whitebeard this mad." Meliodas made a comment.

Blackbeard felt something really bad was about to come. His smile receeded and stared at Whitebeard in shock.

"This feeling.. I can feel he's reaching his prime..!"

His crew heard him and were surprised. One has to know that Blackbeard was once a crew of Whitebeard pirates. That means he witnessed the glorious days of this Emperor of the Sea back in the days.

They are about to know how a peak Whitebeard show his might.

"The strongest man in the world huh.." Irene whispered to herself while gauging the strength of Whitebeard. She clenched her staff as she watched the scene that's about to be unfold.
