A few months passed by in the flesh and Luffy quickly got along with the Red Hair Pirates, especially Shanks and Benn Beckman.

The members of the Red Hair Pirates were quite interesting characters once you got to know them.

Because of his maturity, Luffy did not get fooled by Shanks's childish tricks which always caused everyone to laugh at the redhead captain.

And Luffy could always learn something interesting from Benn Beckman, one of the sharpest minds in the seas.

Finally, it was Uta's turn!

Well, she became quite attached to the young boy, always chasing after him around the village which caused headaches to our little Luffy.

One day

It was quite sunny and a nice day for training. Luffy had assigned Ann and Sabo to fight with the ferocious beast in the forest to hone their Haki that just recently awakened.

Luffy on the other hand was trying to learn Ryo. He could feel that he was very close to it but for some reason, he was unable to learn it.

It was the same situation as post-time skip Luffy in Wano when he first time heard about Ryo.

But Luffy was just six years old now, almost 13 years younger.

Luffy was putting his entire focus on trying to learn the advanced Armament Haki but he was able to maintain it.

"Again... It seems there is no choice. I have to seek guidance from someone who actually knows how to use Ryo." He muttered with a bitter smile.

No matter how much of a genius he was or even if he had cheated, there was something that was still not within his reach.

It's this drive that kept him going as he wanted to become the strongest existence in this world so much so that even the hidden boss Imu would be scared to touch him.

"Hey, don't move so much or you will get hurt." 

"Hey, keep your hands away from me. You don't know who I am... I will complain you to Shanks."

"Don't move so much. And who is this Shanks? I have never heard about it..."

"Neither did I..."

Luffy was busy thinking about the serious stuff when children's banter broke his concentration. He sighed and turned his head around since the voices were pretty familiar to him.

Looking behind him he saw Ann and Sabo approaching him while chattering with another young girl around their age. She had half-white and half-red hair.

Luffy was surprised to see Uta appearing in the forest. He stood up and walked over to the trio.

"Luffy, so here you are..." Uta's face instantly lit up in joy and she quickly strode over, hitting him in the chest.

Luffy sighed as it was very difficult to handle this energetic girl.

Ann saw Uta so attached to Luffy and felt sour in her heart. She scowled and asked. "Hey Luffy, do you know this girl?"

Luffy saw Ann's expression and revealed a shocked expression since he had seen her so unhappy for the first time. He tilted his head and thought.

'Who pisses her off?... It seems something happened during the training. I have to be careful.'

"She... Her name is Uta. She is Shanks's daughter. The pirate I told you guys about."

"Ah, you mean that strong person who is staying in the village." Sabo hit his palm with his fist and looked at Uta with an amazed expression. He was still young and already adored Luffy who was so strong in his eyes.

So, when Luffy told him and Ann that there was a pirate in the village who was even stronger than Luffy, he was very curious about him.

He asked Uta, "Is your dad really stronger than Luffy? Can he kill the giant elephant with a fist?"

Uta raised her chin and looked very proud. "Of course. Shanks can even kill a sea king with a single move."

"Wow! He must be really strong." Sabo could not help but praise him.

Ann, on the other hand, looked pretty uncomfortable. She glared at Sabo for praising someone else in front of her. Looking at Uta's proud expression, she snorted. "So what? He is just that much. I do not think he is that strong."

"What did you say?" Uta was instantly angered by her words and glared at Ann.

How could Ann back down? She also followed and glared at her in return.

Luffy and Sabo took a step back in fear, smelling gunpowder in the air between them.

"Big bro, do something!" Sabo grabbed the corner of Luffy's t-shirt and pulled it, whispering in a low voice.

Luffy rubbed his temple and stared at him, wanting to say what could he do to stop them.

"Hah! Stop it. Both of you!" Luffy sighed and said loudly, prompting both Ann and Uta to stop quarreling and look at him.

"But Luffy, she is..."

"Luffy, this little girl is..."

"Enough." Luffy cut them off and crossed his hands in front of his chest. "Ann, you should focus your attention on your training. Uta is different from you, okay? What about your training? Have you fully awakened your Haki yet?"

"Uh, about that... I still..." Ann was flustered by him pointing at it and avoided eye contact, looking very meek.

Uta snickered and looked very proud. 'Hehe... you deserve it. See that, Luffy values me so much...'

"And you Uta, don't snicker. What the hell are you doing in this jungle all alone?" Luffy saw Uta's proud expression and immediately scolded her without mercy.

"Do you think you are Shanks or Benn? You don't even know Haki! What would have happened if you had met a wild tiger? You should have at least brought Yasopp with you if you want to come here."

"B-But... But I am here to deliver you this lunch made by Sister Makino..." Uta quickly showed the lunch box in her hand.

But Luffy snorted and pointed a finger at her forehead. "Do you think this lunch box is more important than your own life? Hmph! Come with me. I will tell this about to Shanks."

Luffy took the lunch box and pulled Uta along as he went toward the village.

"No!" Uta was instantly scared since she had snuck behind Shanks and definitely would receive a scolding for it.

Ann and Sabo looked at each other before running after Luffy since they also wanted to eat lunch made by Makino. And they might also be able to meet Shanks in the village.

Luffy took a glance at his status while ignoring Uta's pleadings.
