One Piece:Becoming the King of the World from the Rocks Era

Li Yuan, along with Shakky and Lazuli, walked into the Drum Kingdom's palace as if nothing had happened, stepping over the unconscious guards. In a kingdom devoid of formidable warriors, no one could withstand Li Yuan's Conqueror's Haki, allowing him free reign.

The sole individual in the palace still conscious was the current king, Abatt.

"What happened? What's going on? Wake up, all of you!" Abatt shouted, panicked as ministers and soldiers collapsed around him. He tried to rouse them, to no avail. If not for their breathing, he might have thought them dead.

"No need to call them; they'll wake up soon enough," Li Yuan said, entering the throne room with Shakky and Lazuli.

"Who are you?" Abatt demanded nervously, eyeing the newcomers.

"You don't know me, but you should recognize this sword," Li Yuan replied, appearing before Abatt with the eerie Seven Stars Sword at his throat.

Abatt's soul quaked at the sight of the ominous, chilling blade. "Seven, Seven Stars Sword! You're Li Yuan, the world's greatest swordsman!" he gasped, recognizing the infamous weapon of the renowned pirate captain.

Even as a king of a Grand Line allied nation, Abatt was familiar with Li Yuan's exploits, having followed his notorious reputation in the New World. Despite Li Yuan's disguise, the sword was unmistakable.

Given his identity, Abatt wondered why this notorious pirate was in his kingdom. What were the marines doing?

"Since you know who I am, this should be straightforward. I've come to recruit some of your kingdom's finest doctors for my Infinity Pirates and to purchase medical equipment and Devil Fruits. You won't refuse, will you?" Li Yuan asked with a smile.

Though phrased as a question, his tone left no room for negotiation.

"No problem, no problem at all. As long as you don't harm the citizens of Drum Kingdom, everything is fine!" Abatt sighed in relief. A pirate with demands was less frightening than one who attacked indiscriminately.

"Good to hear. I'm a pirate, but not a bloodthirsty one. I'm a pirate of honor!" Li Yuan declared. "If our cooperation goes well, I wouldn't mind establishing long-term relations to help your kingdom prosper."

Though Abatt and his ministers found Li Yuan's words a bit much, they suppressed their disbelief. Abatt focused on fulfilling Li Yuan's demands, hoping to send him on his way peacefully.

Abatt, proving capable and pragmatic, promptly complied. Once his soldiers revived, he gathered a group of skilled doctors and their families for Li Yuan. He also provided advanced medical equipment and handed over two Devil Fruits from the royal treasury.

True to his word, Li Yuan paid for the goods, though the Berries meant little to him.

"Excellent, our transaction went smoothly. Oh, by the way, to ensure you don't report this to the marines or World Government, you'll be coming with us for a while. Once we're safe, you'll be free to return," Li Yuan said, deciding to take Abatt along to prevent any leaks.

"Mr. Li Yuan, this..." Abatt stammered, terrified at the thought of leaving with a pirate.

"Enough. Leave a note saying you've gone on a month-long retreat. I'll let you go after that," Li Yuan instructed.

"Yes, yes, I'll write it now," Abatt eagerly complied, clinging to hope for survival. If Li Yuan intended to kill him, he'd be dead already. Perhaps the pirate truly feared exposure.

After preparations, Li Yuan departed Drum Kingdom with Abatt in tow. The kingdom, upon discovering the king's absence, assumed he'd gone on an impromptu journey, expecting his return after a short while.

Continuing along the Grand Line, Li Yuan's party soon reached an island known as "Little Garden."

The island preserved a prehistoric landscape, home to dinosaurs and extinct species. More importantly, it housed the captains of the Giant Warrior Pirates, the primary reason for Li Yuan's visit.

Sensing their presence through Observation Haki, Li Yuan located the giants, Dorry and Brogy.

"Who are you?" × 2

The giants sensed Li Yuan's powerful aura and regarded him warily.

Dorry, towering at 22 meters, wore an iron faceguard helmet, a long beard, a dark blue cape, and warrior armor. A white fur belt adorned his waist, brown pants covered his legs, and brown boots shod his feet. He wielded a massive sword and round shield.

Brogy, shorter by a meter, was stocky, with an iron helmet featuring horns, a yellow beard, similar armor, plaid pants, and brown short boots. He carried a giant axe and shield.

Their ancient gear amused Li Yuan, a reminder of their outdated equipment.

"I'm Li Yuan, captain of the Infinity Pirates and the world's greatest swordsman. I've heard the warriors of Elbaf are the strongest, so I'm here to see if that's true!" Li Yuan announced.

"Jajajajaja!!"

"A challenger to the might of Elbaf's warriors! As a warrior of Elbaf, I, Dorry, will not refuse a challenge!"

"Gabababa!!"

"I'm the same, Brogy! Let's fight!" The giants roared with excitement, eager for a grand battle.

"Show me the strength of Elbaf!" Li Yuan replied, opting to fight with fists, cloaked in Armament Haki, to test their power.

"Watch out!"

Brogy swung his massive axe, the blade several times Li Yuan's size, exuding immense pressure.

"Boom!!"

Unfazed, Li Yuan punched the axe, shattering a section of the blade and forcing Brogy back, sending him crashing down.

Dorry followed with a sweeping sword strike.

"Good move!"

Li Yuan's fist met the sword, breaking a piece of the blade and knocking Dorry back beside Brogy.

"Friend, your strength surpasses ours. We'll use Elbaf's strongest technique next. Be prepared!" Dorry and Brogy exchanged glances, rising with anticipation.

Though outmatched, they resolved to use their ultimate technique, hoping for a chance.

"The giants' strength is remarkable. An adult giant has the power of a Vice Admiral," Li Yuan mused, admiring their strength. "Dorry and Brogy are as strong as Admirals, but their sluggishness limits them against other Admirals."

"In the original series, they were easily tricked and defeated by Crocodile's subordinates due to their slow movements."

"Yet, back in the New World, their Conqueror's Haki-based attack defeated the Kid Pirates and they even faced the Gorosei!"

As Dorry and Brogy marveled at Li Yuan's strength, he too contemplated their prowess.

These giants, leaders of the former Giant Warrior Pirates, were indeed formidable.

"Let's go!" Li Yuan said, focusing intently and using Observation Haki to monitor Dorry and Brogy's every move.
