Chapter 170: Is the Swan Flock Paying Homage to Master Ning? (2/3)
There was no other plausible explanation for this than that Ning Fei was an immortal.
At this very moment, Ning Fei was riding his horse and galloping through the desert.
The pop-ups were still discussing the vision of the swan just now.
In response, Ning Fei didn’t particularly care.
Yesterday, he had come uphill, so his speed was slower, today he was downwards, and his speed was invariably much faster.
The wolves in the desert were once again drawn to Ning Fei’s attention, and after they raised their heads to look and saw the speed of the black horse, they continued to wander with their heads down, without any semblance of prey.
After crossing the desert and arriving at the grassland, Ning Fei slowed down his speed.
As the black marshal began to trot leisurely, Ning Fei sat up straight and held the little fox in his arms, feeling the fresh breeze of the grassland blowing in his face.
After the incident with the swans, Black Handsome and Little Fox had become even more respectful and fond of Ning Fei.
These two guys were both spiritual and they could sense that the swan was making a pilgrimage towards Ning Fei.
And then, Ning Fei just went all the way back to the tribe, and when he arrived at the tribe’s entrance, it was only around three in the afternoon.
By this time, the people in the tribe who had taken their lunch break had all woken up and gone about their business.
Ning Fei jumped off Black Handsome, stroked him and said “thank you for your hard work” before letting him leave.
Black Handsome returned to the grassland where he belonged.
Back at the tribe, Ning Fei saw that Ma Yao was practising archery with two other young men at the archery range.
He was instantly interested, so he went back to his room and put his backpack down, and walked over to the archery range.
When Little Dog and Little Fei saw Ning Fei return, they both followed him impatiently, running behind him and jumping excitedly.
“Ning Fei, you’re back, I heard from Li Yan that your live broadcast has caused another sensation.” Ma Yao smiled when he saw Ning Fei appear.
Ning Fei shrugged and said, “It was better luck that I just happened to encounter swans migrating south, the scene was more spectacular.”
“That’s also because you’re good at spotting them, people on the grassland wouldn’t think of running that far to see the geese migrate south.” Ma Yao said with a smile.
“What are you doing here? Practising archery?” Ning Fei looked at the archery range and asked.
“Yes, some time ago at the Naadam Conference, everyone in the tribe was at the bottom of the results, and it made my Abba furious, saying that we were really ashamed, so we’ve all asked to practice recently.” Ma Yao said with a sigh.
The Naadam is a traditional festival held in July and August every year, with a fixed venue, some by district and township, some by banner and county.
At that time, herdsmen from various regions would gather together for entertainment and games, including wrestling, archery, horse-riding and various other competitions.
Ning Fei thought about it and smacked his lips, missing out on the lively Naadam Congress, which made him feel a little sorry.
He was fond of the traditional festivals of ethnic minorities and had gone to see the Water Splashing Festival once before and got splashed all over.
Of course, it was also because he was more handsome looking, when a whole bunch of girls chased him and splashed him, which really didn’t help.
“Will you took part? How did it turn out?” Ning Fei asked.
Ma Yao shrugged his shoulders with a “you know” expression.
It was true, Ma Yao had been at university all these years and was not much of an exerciser, so he was no match for a strong man who lived in the grasslands and was in touch with horse riding and wrestling.
“We revere strong men, you are not aware of how fierce those great wrestlers are.” Ma Yao exclaimed.
In response, Ning Fei didn’t think much of it.
He glanced at the target in the distance and asked, “Can I play with this arrow?”
Ma Yao nodded, “Of course you can.”
The arrows over here were completely different from the usual excursions of archery, the target was particularly far away, a wooden stake with a loop of twine like stuff wrapped around the outside, enclosing the city in a circle with a red heart in the middle.
