---London----

Nitish went through several medical procedures and completed his eye surgery, which gradually reduced his breathing problems over time. During his rehabilitation, he was inspired by the anime Hajime no Ippo and the Manhwa The Boxer and began visual training. Nitish believed that visual training was a powerful tool, which many underestimated. Additionally, he listened to audiobooks on cricket to enhance his cricket knowledge and devise effective strategies. He dedicated two years to rehabilitation, which was a long period for any aspiring cricketer, especially for someone like Kevin Pieterson, who had invested in Nitish. However, Pieterson believed that spending money on Nitish was worth the risk, even if he only gained recognition in domestic tournaments. Pieterson hoped that Nitish's success would bring more fame to his academy in India. A good performance could change Nitish's fate, but a poor one could be detrimental to his career.

Nitish's rehabilitation was successful, and at the age of 28, he was fit enough to practice in the nets. He learned that to gain recognition and be selected for the Indian team, he needed to be sold to an IPL team and put up a good performance in the short 20-over format of cricket. The players in IPL try to score boundaries from the first ball, so Nitish and Pieterson discussed several strategies. Even though Pieterson was selected as a T20 coach for South Africa, he continued to support Nitish and discuss cricket strategies with him. They developed a close relationship, similar to that of Dronacharya and Arjuna. Nitish realized that the best way to tackle the hard hitters in T20 cricket was through deception or bowling yorkers. With Nitish's bowling speed, the ball was guaranteed to go for a boundary, so he came up with slower balls to deceive the batsmen.

Nitish began playing in exhibition matches and performed well. Pieterson advised him to focus on bowling and become a part-time bowler. However, Nitish refused as he believed that becoming an all-rounder had greater benefits in any format of cricket.

In conclusion, Nitish's two-year rehabilitation was a difficult period, but it resulted in him becoming a successful cricketer. He learned the importance of visual training, enhancing his cricket knowledge, and devising effective strategies. His close relationship with Pieterson was a significant factor in his success. Nitish's decision to become an all-rounder was a wise one, as it gave him a greater advantage in all formats of cricket.

Author's thoughts:

In my novel, I had originally planned to introduce a system for the main character right from the start, similar to other popular Webnovels. However, I decided to take a different approach and focus on developing the main character's backstory to help readers connect with him on a deeper level.

The protagonist in my story has faced numerous challenges and setbacks, with luck rarely on his side. He also began his journey into the world of cricket relatively late in life, which further adds to the hurdles he must overcome. To establish this character and his struggles, I plan to dive into his backstory in the initial 15-20 chapters, before shifting into the main plot of the story.

I am extremely grateful for the support and encouragement from readers, especially those who have gifted power stones. Their support motivates me to continue writing and producing a story that is both engaging and unique. I want to thank @amruta_bhat, @GK_ram, @Yoshitha_Gandham, @divya_pamidi, @Ductor_Storage, @Darkpotter, @DaoistVxh0o, and @The_battle_God for their unwavering support and hope that they will continue to support me in the future.

I would like to move the story at a faster pace and would finish the backstory in coming 5 -7 chapters.
