CHAPTER 19 : Blue (Beginning Of Arc 3)
The city of Deira stood as a bastion against the encroaching darkness, its towering walls shielding its inhabitants from the horrors that lurked beyond. Blue and his companions, clad in sleek black suits designed to withstand the onslaught of the Hiapong, stood at the city's outskirts, their weapons poised to strike.
As the Hiapong approached, their menacing forms silhouetted against the horizon, Blue's expression remained impassive, his focus unwavering. With practiced precision, he took aim and fired, each shot finding its mark with deadly accuracy.
Beside him, Dorothy removed her helmet, her voice tinged with admiration. "Impressive as always, Blue. You never cease to amaze."
Blue offered a nod of acknowledgment, his stoic facade betraying none of the turmoil brewing beneath the surface. "Thank you, Dorothy. Let's head back."
Back within the safety of Deira , they made their way to Feder, the organization overseen by Omega. As Blue entered Omega's office in response to the summons, a sense of apprehension gnawed at him, the weight of their previous encounters lingering in the air.
Omega's gaze bore into him, his tone measured yet tinged with concern. "Blue, are you feeling alright? Is there anything troubling you?"
Blue swallowed nervously, his composure faltering slightly under Omega's scrutinizing gaze. "I'm fine, Omega. Just... processing everything."
Omega rose from his seat, his gaze drifting to the cityscape beyond. "Blue, do you know about the Purgers?"
Blue shook his head, his memory blank, the ordeal of his torture erasing any recollection of past encounters. "No, I don't."
With a heavy sigh, Omega launched into an explanation, his words laden with the weight of history. "The Purgers are extraterrestrial beings who arrived on our planet Finlay aboard a massive black cube. Their presence sparked a series of events that culminated in World War III, a conflict driven by their insidious influence."
Blue's brow furrowed in confusion as Omega continued, outlining the origins of the Purgers and their infiltration of human society. "But why are you telling me this?"
Omega fixed him with a penetrating gaze, his voice tinged with urgency. "Because, Blue, the threat they pose is real, and they could be lurking anywhere. I need you to be vigilant, to watch for any signs of their presence."
