….
The Great Magicians who marked a significant chapter in the history of magic.
Those who savored their respective eras left behind achievements that words could not encapsulate, greatly influencing future generations.
All apprentice magicians received lessons based on the theories these individuals established.
Even the ordinary noble offspring, who did not walk the path of magic, studied the accomplishments they left through history classes.
Bards continuously sang their heroic stories in taverns and on the streets, and in central squares, statues modeled after these great magicians stood majestically.
For hundreds of years, their mere existence elevated the prestige of the Empire.
Thus, people often referred to these five great magicians as the heroes of the Empire.

[Heroes, my foot…]

Of course, I remember it clearly.
Heroes?
Sages?
What? They marked a chapter in the history of magic?
It’s all nonsense.
There couldn’t be a greater overstatement.
In my view, these guys were just a bunch of talentless losers. They just got lucky and met me, then suddenly became great.

[Even when I explained the magic cultivation method easily, they struggled and whined about it. Every time I widened their mana circuits, they cried and made a fuss about the pain. Whenever something came up, they grumbled if there wasn’t an easier way…]

How hard was it to put each of these idiots in the position of a great magician?
Honestly, I couldn’t even begin to explain how much I struggled during that damn long time.

[Ugh, what’s the point of it all anyway.]

But that’s all in the past now.
Currently, I’m just a shabby book tucked away in a corner of the bookshelf.

[…]

It’s been 300 years since I’ve been neglected like this.
Now, I just want anyone,
Please.
I hope someone will read me.
