Pokemon Earth’s Parallel World: Dragon Trainer

Chapter 2 – MUST Rescue

On the other hand, the little Dratini rushed toward the direction of his mother, his eyes filled with worry upon seeing the earlier explosion.

He immediately increased his speed, unaware that he was using an unknown move: Extreme Speed.

When he arrived at the chaotic scene, he didn't bother to assess his surroundings and rushed toward his mother, who was lying on the ground. His eyes welled up with tears as he grieved over his mother's bloodied and bruised body.

He was overwhelmed with sadness as he called out to his mother, but received no response.

His mother, on the other hand, sensed her son's presence, though she couldn't see or move anything. Her strength had reached its lowest point, and she felt her vitality fading away with each passing moment.

She scolded that young man in her mind. She had entrusted her son's safety to him, but look at what had happened; her son had returned. What if there were still enemies around who might spot her son? Her son had just hatched and had no battle experience, so how could he defend himself against the enemies?

Although she felt a warm feeling with her son by her side, it still wasn't safe at all. Where had that young man gone? Had he also betrayed her? She felt truly helpless now; she couldn't feel her body and was on the brink of passing out. However, she forced herself to remain conscious with every ounce of her remaining strength.

Where did you go?

The little Dratini continued to shout but still received no response from his mother. His eyes filled with tears, and he curled his body beside his mother, crying helplessly.

A few seconds later, the young man appeared with Axew and Horsea.

"You, bastard, why did you come back?" the young man scolded the Dratini.

He looked around and was shocked by what he saw. The battlefield was a chaotic mess, with many incomplete human bodies and dead Pokémon that had been inflicted in the battle.

Hearing the voice of the young man, the little Dratini cried and rushed helplessly toward him, pleading for help for his mother.

"Okay, there, there," the young man said, patting the Dratini's head.

Feeling the presence of the young man, the Dragonite sighed in relief and lost consciousness.

Axew and Horsea rushed toward Dragonite. Axew felt sadness, while Horsea was already crying, mourning for her. They looked at the young man with the same pleading expression as Dratini earlier, begging him to help Dragonite survive.

The young man's expression turned gloomy upon seeing Dragonite's condition. He patted Dratini on the head and set him down before rushing over to check on Dragonite.

Dratini followed him with hope in his eyes.

The young man activated his Dragon Power, and a green light appeared on his hand. However, a few seconds later, a trace of panic crossed his face.

"She has been inflicted with a burn, and the status is severe. It's bad; her vitality is rapidly decreasing," he said. Even with the assistance of Dragon Power, it couldn't counter the rapid decline in Dragonite's vitality.

He quickly retrieved a powder from his backpack, a Healing Powder made from Rawst Berries. He applied it to Dragonite's burnt body and activated his Dragon Power. However, it proved futile in completely stopping the decrease in Dragonite's vitality; it could only slow down the process.

He quickly added the Energy Powder made from Leppa Berries, but once again, it wasn't enough. He added a Potion, but it still fell short. Seeing this, he felt a sense of desperation.

What could he do? He was just a novice breeder, feeling helpless in a situation like this.

Horsea and Dratini approached him, both of them crying. On the other hand, Axew clenched his fist, showing his unwillingness.

Strength. If he was only strong…

"Don't worry, there's still a chance" The young man closed his eyes and said 'System!'

'Start the simulation! Please find a way to heal Dragonite'

[Start Scanning…. 10%... 20%...50%...75%...90%...95%...97%...98%...99%...100%]

[Dragonite's Fully Heal Status - Difficulty Level: Master ]

Upon hearing about the Master Level, the young man felt a sense of despair. The Master Level would cost four times as much as other levels. The system had five stages of difficulty: Novice, Intermediate, Advanced, Master, and Peak.

Simulation Level:

Novice – Easy (E) = 10 Points, Novice – Medium (M) = 15 Points, Novice – Hard (H) = 20 Points,

Intermediate – E = 40 Points, Intermediate – M = 80 Points, Intermediate – H = 160 Points

Advanced – E = 320 Points, Advanced – M = 640 Points, Advanced – H = 1,280 Points

Master = 2,560 Points

Peak = 5,000 Points

But it didn't end there. There was a rule in the system: if you were at the Novice level and attempted to create something exceeding that stage, such as trying to craft something at the Intermediate stage, it would multiply the difficulty by 2. If you were at the Novice stage and attempted to create an item at the Advanced stage, it would multiply the difficulty by 3, and so on.

If you are at the Intermediate level and attempt to create something at the Advanced stage, it will multiply the difficulty by 2. Trying the Master stage will multiply it by 3, and so on.

And there's also a simulation percentage multiplier starting from 60% percentage is x2, 70% percentage is x3, 80% percentage is x4, and 90%-100% percentage is x5.

The only difference between achieving a success rate of 100% and 90% or below is that in the former, the system will exert control over the user's consciousness until the creation is complete, whereas in the latter, you can retain your consciousness. You can observe how the system controls you and facilitates the creation process, but it also comes with a chance of failure.

Additionally, you must possess the actual item required for the system to generate the specific creation. The system will provide you with a list of the necessary items before initiating the simulation process.

The Master Stage simulation will cost 10,240 points, which is then multiplied by 5 for a success rate ranging from 90% to 100%. The grand total for this simulation amounts to an impressive 51,200 points!

The young man felt discouraged and asked, 'System, I can't afford it. Is there any other way I can use my points to make it affordable?

[Certainly, with your total points of 17,270, you can spend them in an Advanced - Medium Level Stage to make a potion "Full Heal" for 11,600 points, which comes with a success rate of 90% to 100%. This stage can effectively halt the decreasing vitality of this Dragonite but it will remain unconscious]

(AN: Advanced Medium = 640 x 3 (Because of stage gap) = 1920 x 5 (because of 90%-100 is x5) = 9600 + 2000 for recipe. The system cannot simulate something if you don't buy the recipe)

"Spend it"

[The items required are listed in the following instructions: Cheri Berry, Pecha Berry, Rawst Berry, Aspear Berry, Berry Blender or ApriBlender, empty bottle… Do you accept this? Yes or No?]

He checked the items and found that he had them. Being a breeder himself, he always collected berries whenever he traveled, keeping them inside his backpack. So, he nodded and said, 'Yes.'

Then, he suddenly lost consciousness, and the system began its work. This time, he opted for the 100% simulation because he couldn't afford to fail, even with the slightest chance of it happening. Although he had only met this Dragonite a few days ago, he couldn't bear to let her die. Seeing the pitiful look in Dratini's eyes as it gazed at him, he felt compelled to save his mother.
