Nessa's Mansion, Hulbury.

Valerie was currently sitting in the bed of her room along her Sylveon and Spritzee, while Ash's Flabébé was resting on her shoulder, all of them were still reading the book about AZ's story.

"Is anything of this familiar to you?" Valerie asked to Flabébé and the small Fairy shook her head. "Hmm..." Valerie closed her eyes for a second, but a knock from her door pulled her out of her thoughts. "It's open, come in." She said, and after a bit of struggle, Pikachu jumped just right to hold the knob and open the door from outside to enter the room.

"Oh, it's just you, Pikachu. Nice to see you." Valerie greeted him. "Say, what are you doing here? I thought you'd be with Ash... although he probably wants some time to be alone with his girlfriends... doesn't he?"

"Pi..." Pikachu jumped to the bed and sat in front of Valerie with a rather worried look.

"Hmm...Ash sent you here to take care of me, right?" She asked and Pikachu nodded. "Is that so... I suppose that after what happened it's pretty easy for him to read me... I'm feeling down, yes, but Flabébé's company has been quite nice, though it makes me really glad to know Ash still worries about me..." Valerie gave a wide smile, but it quickly died down. "Even if he has to take care of two girls now... Pikachu, as you've always been with Ash and his mishaps, I'm going to guess you already know how I feel about him."

"Kapi..." The mouse pointed at his heart.

"Yes, I also like him." Valerie admitted. "B-But please don't tell him... not like you need to, it seems like he has noticed it himself, he told me I've been acting weird around him...and the worst part is that he's right... I didn't want to get between Nessa and him, but with all that happened yesterday I've been thinking, perhaps if I ask both Ash and Nessa they could let me join their...eccentric relationship...but I feel like it'll be the best for me is to stay out, I'm nowhere near as close to Ash as Bea and Nessa are, not to mention that I feel like Ash would only accept me out of pity, even after all that happened that day... especially after all that happened that day...I don't want him to feel responsible for me, but Ash doesn't quite understand how much I owe him. If he hadn't caught me when I fell off the window...it all could have ended there..." Valerie stopped scared thinking about what she did that day, Pikachu then sat on her lap trying to calm her down and she smiled. "T-Then he cooked for me, I've never felt so special, and then, when I could finally make that dress, when I wore it, I was so happy, so proud of myself, and then I looked at Ash and...he also seemed proud of me." Valerie suddenly shed some tears that ran down with her makeup. "I'd like to...keep making him proud, but who am I fooling? ...I have no chance at all."

Valerie's Pokemon got closer to her and hugged her, Pikachu and Flabébé then did the same and Valerie calm down as she could.

"Merci, all of you, I'm such a mess..." She cleaned her tears and took a deep breath to calm down. "But despite everything, I'd like to help Ash, and contributing in understand a little more about Flabébé could do that, and I think the best way to do that would be finding AZ again." Valerie put the book aside and looked for her Rotom Phone to search in her social media. "I know the chances are scarce, but maybe someone saw him, let's see...Drasna and Malva got married...Sina is going to take a trip to Alola...Siebold has a new cooking show...seems like Korrina made a new friend...oh, Miette has opened a bakery, good for her, good for her...and Viola is...WHAT THE F-" Valerie covered her mouth before ending the sentence and all the Pokemon looked at her stoned. "S-Sorry! But look at this!" Valerie presented the Rotom Phone, which had onscreen a picture that Viola uploaded, showing a tall man in the forest, talking to some Scatterbugs. "This is AZ! And the picture was taken yesterday, Viola could know where he is!" Valerie exclaimed excited whole she prepared a Video call.

Meanwhile in the outskirts of Santalune City.

"Finally, the elusive Poke-Ball patterned Vivillon." Viola was hiding behind a three with her camera in one hand and a Net Ball in the other with the intention of catching the butterfly. "This a once in a lifetime chance, I need to-" Viola was about to toss the ball, but her phone suddenly ringed and scared away the Bug Type. "No! Hey, wait! Wait, wait, wait!" Viola tried to chase it, but the Vivilion quickly disappeared out of her sight. "Argh! And why didn't I put this thing in vibration?!" She complained as her phone kept ringing and she eventually took it. "What's the matter, Valerie?!"

"S-Sorry to bother you Viola." She answered taken by surprise from her shout. "Did I interrupt anything important?"

"No...no, nothing at all." Viola tried to fake a smile.

"Listen, that picture you took the other day, with the tall man and the Scatterbug, do you know where he is now?"

"Nope, dude appeared out of nowhere and then he left just as quick." Viola answered. "I couldn't even tell him I took the picture, but it looked too good, so I kinda posted it without his permission, but eh, he doesn't seem like the type of person who knows what copyright is, so I probably don't need to worry."

"Hmm, I'm wasting time with you then." Valerie sighed and cut off the call.

"...Well, that was quite rude." Viola said to herself.

Back with our heroes in the old harbor of Hulbury.

"Ash...w-would it be okay if I become your girlfriend too?"

"N-Nia-"

"I know, I know." She interrupted. "I know I said myself I that I didn't want to be one of the bunch, but...I also wanted you to be with Bea and that didn't make me feel better, I thought that I could forget about you if I knew you two were together, but when I found out it broke my heart into pieces, and even then, I was gonna leave it like that, I really wanted to move on, but I just kept thinking more and more about everything, m-my feelings for you won't stop growing, I love you Ash...I-I love you so much it hurts sometimes."

"Nia..." Ash simply gave her a warm smile. "I'd l-"

"Look, I know what you'll ask." She interrupted him again. "I'm aware this is sudden, but I gave it a detailed thought and I'm truly sure this is what I want, I'm fine with all this, even if I have to share you, s-so if you accepted Nessa then why not me too?"

"Nia, please-"

"Of course, I know I'll need both of your girlfriends approval to join this family of yours." Peonia continued and looked at Bea and Nessa.

"Nia, could you just let As-" Bea tried to talk.

"But Ash, I need to hear it from you first!" Peonia shouted. "C-Can I be your girlfriend?"

"Nia...could you please stop interrupting me?" Ash asked.

"S-Sorry, this has..." Peonia looked down embarrassed. "I've been through a lot lately and I pretty much traveled half the region overnight to see you, I'm a little tired."

"Well, to answer your question..." Ash walked to her and took both her hands leaving her even more blushed. "Nia, I'd love to be your boyfriend too."

"You...A-Are you sure?" She stuttered.

"Of course!" Ash smiled again. "W-Well, like you said, I already accepted Nessa too, I wouldn't want to hurt you nor leave you behind. You and your feelings are really important to me, especially after all you just told me."

"S-So, does that make me your girlfriend too?" Peonia asked.

"No, it doesn't!" Peony suddenly appeared behind a light pole and pointed at Ash. "Not in my watch, you Mr. boy scout, round-face, shorts wielding, clype deep bachle, gather uping blate maw, blethering gomeril Jessie, Oaf-lookin' schtooner, Nyaff plookie shan, Milk-drinking Soy-face shilpit, Mim-moothed, sniveling worm-eyed hotten blaugh, vile stoochie, cally-breek tattie!"

"...What?" Ash asked.

"Dad, what are you doing here?" Peonia asked.

"Weeeeell, I followed ya after you left because we obviously need to talk since you didn't tell me about this!" Peony pulled out his Rotom Phone and showed them the photo of their kiss, leaving Ash and Peonia blushing.

"I-I totally forgot about the cameras." Peonia giggled embarrassed, trying to hide her blushing face in Ash's chest, causing him to laugh as well as he ran a hand on her hair.

"Uh, Mr. Peony-"

"Don't you talk to me! You bleedin' Muppet! Bloomin' tosser!" He interrupted Ash. "I heard everythin'!"

"Everything? Ash asked.

"EVERYTHIN'!" He shouted. "And there's no way in hell I'll hand over my dear, sweet, adorable Nia to some two-timin' maggot that will do nothin' but make her life miserable!"

"I'd never let that happen!" Ash shouted. "I promise I'll bring her happiness! I-I just ask you to accept the love between Nia and me!"

"Guess what? I don't believe you!" Peony said. "Ash, I thought you were a great guy, I really wanted you to be with Nia, but not this way! I won't let you make her feel like she's less than what she really is! You can be sure I'll crush any pest that dares to get close to my precious flower!"

"Well, maybe I want to be someone else's precious flower from now on!" Peonia exclaimed hugging Ash while looking at her father. "I love him and he loves me too! Shouldn't that be all that matters?"

"Do you really think such sugar-coatin' will impress me?!" Peony shouted. "I may not fully understand what's goin' on here, but I'm not lettin' my daughter blind herself with some fake happiness!"

"I'm not blind and this isn't fake! This is what I want!" Peonia continued.

"B-But why?!" Peony kept ranting. "Why are you okay with some shared relationship? All four of you barely have experience in love! This is destined to be a disaster!"

"Dad...You know Ash, and his sincerity, and I know that you wanted me to be him well before all this happened, and even though I was against the idea at first, I got the chance to meet him better, and I truly believe Ash can also make me happy from the bottom of my heart."

Peony sighed and rubbed his eyes, he then set his sight on Ash. "Listen Ash, you're gonna make sure that Nia is the most important thing in your world, right?"

"Of course!" He quickly answered.

"You'll put her happiness over yours?" The father continued asking

"A-Anytime, Mr. Peony!"

"You're gonna protect her from everything and anything?"

"Yes, I will! You can be sure of it!"

"Then dump Nessa and Bea!" Peony exclaimed

"That's not gonna happen!" Ash shouted back.

"Why not?!" Peony tossed his own hat to the floor in anger. "If you say Nia will be that important to you then she should be the only girl you need!"

"I won't dump them for the same reason I want to accept Nia, they're all important to me!" Ash let go of Peonia and walked to Peony. "This is not about 'the only girl I need', is about how I feel and how they feel! Can't you understand that?!"

"A-Ash, calm down." Nessa said.

"My daughter deserves somethin' better than this!"

"I know! They all deserve something better than me! B-But they love me and I love them! That's why I'm doing this! I know this might seem wrong and I'll probably be frowned upon by many people if the wrong person finds out, but nobody is gonna separate me from them!"

"Argh...I need to another point of view...Bea! Nessa!" Peony pointed at the two.

"Uh?" The girls looked at each other.

"Listen, I can comprehend that you two want to share Ash, okay? Three isn't necessarily a bunch, but four is where the line has to be crossed!"

"...That doesn't make much sense in this context." Bea said.

"So if Peonia had been the second girlfriend you'd be fine with it?" Nessa asked.

"No, of course not!" Peony exclaimed. "I'm just tryin' to say that adaptin' to this situation should've been hard on its own, don't you think it'll all get more complicated with Nia? Ash will have even less time for you!"

"Well, since I jumped into Ash's and Bea's relationship myself I guess I have no right to complain." Nessa said. "So if Peonia wants to join then I guess it's fine by me."

"JUST LIKE THAT?!" Peony shouted.

"Again, I don't think I have any right to complain." Nessa continued. "Bea and I were actually discussing yesterday about the possibility that something like this could happen and Ash himself warned us about some other girls that he could accept, including Peonia."

"Other girls?! How many girls do you plan to have after Peonia?!" Peony pointed at Ash angrily.

"I...I guess it'll depend on the situation and if they want to join." Ash said.

"So you were already considering having me join in?" Peonia asked Ash.

"W-Well, more or less, I told you I was thinking about your confession, so it took me by surprise when you said you also wanted to share me, but it also made me happy." Ash smiled embarrassed. "Hope that doesn't bother you."

"Heh, if anything it makes me glad to know you wanted me to be one of your conquests." Peonia wrapped her arms around Ash's neck and tried to go for a kiss.

"IM STILL HERE!" Peony called them and they parted away a little. "And you're coming with me!"

"No, I'm not! I'm gonna stay with Ash!" Peonia shouted holding the boy's hand.

"If you stay with him now... T-Then you better don't show your face near to our house or Freezington ever again!" Peony continued. "You stay here and you'll never return home! Is this stupid crush more important than your family? Than your father?!"

"Y-You said that I was old enough, that I could take my own decisions!" Peonia exclaimed.

"Then choose!" Peony shouted. "Say it right now, hard and loud! Say that you want to stay with Ash, and you won't be my daughter anymore!"

"I-I knew it..." Peonia did her best to hold her tears. "I knew you wouldn't understand!"

"You ungratefu-"

"Mr. Peony, that's enough!" Bea stood in front of Ash and Peonia. "You can't just force Peonia do what you want that way!"

"Yes, I can!" Peony exclaimed. "I'm doin' this because I want what's best for her! Don't you dare look down on Father's Love!"

"Father's love..." Bea's body trembled. "W-What kind of father...what kind of father would neglect her daughter's feelings?! What kind of father would abandon her daughter just because she's doing what she wants to?!" Bea shouted causing Peony to walk back a few steps. "Imposing your ideals isn't love! Peonia's ideals, her dreams, respecting that is what love truly is! You're seriously going to take Nia out of your life forever just because of this?! Do you really want this fight to be the last memory you have of her?! WHY ARE YOU ALL THE SAME?!"

Ash quickly ran to Bea and hugged her as tight as he could while Bea fought the urge to cry out loud and let her tears flow out. "B-Bea-"

"I'm okay." Bea answered hugging him. "I'm just fine."

"I'd...I'd never abandon my dear Nia." Peony sighed and tried to calm down as well. "You're right, I'm just tryin' to push her, but what else am I supposed to do? ...Please Bea, you have to be the voice of reason here! You were the first, weren't you? Why did you allow Ash to do this?"

"...After all the cat fights I had with the other girls and all the seesaw from Ash about whether accepting their confessions or not, this seemed like the best thing to do." She answered parting from Ash. "He loved them enough to ask me to do this, and if his feelings for the other girls were as strong as his feelings for me, as he claimed them to be, then I couldn't expect him to just reject them, I may still doubt this a bit, but...I've been through enough things with Ash having my back to know he'll never abandon me, and I don't want the other girls to get heartbroken either, they're all good friends of mine... so please, Mr. Peony, let Nia be with Ash."

"You...T-This is..."

"If I can say something Mr. Peony." Ash talked. "Please don't get the wrong idea of all this, it's not like my feelings are going to transfer from one girl to the other, it's just... there's nothing else I could've done, no matter how hard I tried to explain it, and I won't say something like 'just accept these weird circumstances' either, my feelings for Nessa and Bea will never change, and neither will my feelings for Peonia, and I'm gonna show them how much I care about them, through actions, not just words." Ash then looked at the three girls. "And I want you three to know that...if you girls feel like I'm not living up to this promise then you can tell me the truth and I'll accept it...all of you have free will to find something better than this."

"And if you ever feel like we're too much of a burden, please just tell us." Nessa walked to him and held his hands. "We'll do all we can to make it easier for you as well, you want to make us happy so bad, but we'll make sure you're happy as well."

"So...what you're saying is..." Peony paused. "That it's not like you're dividing the petroleum you get from one of your fields, but rather, being with Peonia would be like finding a new oil field?"

"...I don't think you should measure love with fossil fuels, but yeah, that sums it up." Ash answered.

"Welcome to my life." Peonia rolled her eyes.

"I...I give in." Peony sighed. "Ash, I'm going to believe that you mean every word of what you said... Please take good care of my Nia."

"I will, even if it cost me my life." Ash replied.

"Thank you, and sorry about all these rants."

"It's alright." Ash assured. "I understand you're just worried about Nia."

"I still am." Peony answered. "But I know she'll do great with you."

"Do you really mean it, Dad?" Peonia walked to him.

"Go make your own paradise, Nia." He answered and Peonia hugged him. "I still hope you get to visit me as often as you can."

"Of course!" Peonia answered. "Ash will have to meet the rest of the family eventually."

"Yeah, they'll probably take the whole topic better than me, but that makes me think...Nessa, little advice from a coworker." Peony looked at her. "I know you're already an adult, but I've met with your parents before and they will probably like to know about all this."

"R-Right, I guess I'll have to introduce Ash to them." Nessa laughed nervously and then looked at Ash. "But don't worry, they're really calm people."

"For some reason that makes me worry a little more." Ash answered.

"And what about you Bea?" Peony asked.

"In all honesty Mr. Peony..." Bea paused with a sigh. "I really doubt my father will care about anything I do for the rest of my life."

"I see...I'm really sorry if I brought up some bad memories." Peony said.

"Please don't worry about that, it's all in the past." Bea assured. "I'm just glad you care that much about Nia."

"Of course I do, and I can see you all will care about her too, so I'm leaving Nia in your hands."

"Thank you, Dad." Peonia hugged him and then walked to Ash.

"Well... weren't we in the middle of something?" She asked him.

"Let's do this again..." Ash took both of her hands. "Peonia Cosmos, would you like to be my girlfriend?"

"Can you...k-kiss me?" He giggled embarrassed. "I-I want to, I really liked the last one, but can we try it again now that we got over the drama?"

"I think we can..." Ash smiled and they both leaned for the kiss.

"GET AWAY FROM MY DAUGHTER, YOU BASTARD!" Peony suddenly shouted interrupting the moment and everyone blankly stared at him. "Sorry! I- I just... I gotta get used to that." He laughed. "I'll be looking into another direction, Now go. Do... do your thing."

Peony hastily looked away. Ash and Peonia then looked at each other again and shared a quick kiss, not much more than five seconds, but more than enough for them.

"...Yes, I'm gonna be your girlfriend." Peonia smiled and hugged him, resting her head on Ash's shoulder.

"...Well, I guess I'm not needed here anymore..." Peony sighed and then smiled. "Just one more thing, Ash. You can be sure I wouldn't do it, but what if someone else makes this public? Even with everything in consideration, you're still just a boy and there are things you won't be able to control."

"You may be right Mr. Peony, I can't control everything, I may not be the smartest or strongest person in the world, I may not have much money or power, but I'm gonna bet in everything I can do right now, in everything I got, and I already told you, I'm not letting anyone separate me from them, neither from Nia now."

"...And I trust you, Ash." Peony put a hand over his shoulder.

"Thanks, uh... father-in-law?"

"...Call me that again and I'll tell my Perrserker to reap your nuggets off." Peony said. "Seriously boy, you won this fight, but don't push your luck."

"Sorry..." Ash apologized and Peony gave him a pat on his back. He then hugged Peonia again and walked away.

"Well, I'm...glad we pulled it off." Ash said.

"Me too..." Peonia answered and went for another kiss. "A-Ash, now that's official and everything, could we have a date?"

"Well, I was just in the middle of a date with Nessa and Bea when you appeared, I guess we can continue." Ash said. "Of course, I'll have a date with just you later if you want to."

"Sounds great, we really need get to know each other better for this to work out." Peonia answered and then looked at the other girlfriends. "I'll be counting on you, Bea."

"Back at you, Nia." Bea answered.

"And of course, it's a pleasure to finally meet you properly Miss Nessa." Peonia continued.

"Please just call me Nessa." She answered embarrassed. "We're equals here, Peonia."

"Hmp, then please call me Nia as well, deal?"

"Deal...Hey Nia, I'm glad everything turned out fine, but I have one question for you." Nessa said. "You mentioned that you already knew that Bea and I were sharing Ash, how exactly did you find out?"

"Uh, w-well...Sonia told me." She admitted.

"...SHE WHAT?!" Nessa shouted.

Sonia's lab, a few minutes later.

"My pa-ace, scie-ence..." Sonia was singing alone in her lab. "It's all about the trial and the error..."

"Sonia, you bitch!" Nessa suddenly appeared at the door of the place.

"Oh, hey Nes-" Sonia was about to talk but Nessa held her by her collar of her shirt. Sonia then noticed Ash, Bea and Peonia entered the lab as well and the professor guessed what happened. "L-Listen, I can explain."

"Why did you tell her?!" Nessa shouted.

"I-I'm sorry, but I couldn't stand seeing Nia like that, she was so devastated, she deserved to know, and if you could be with Ash despite him being already with Bea, then she deserved a chance too... Nia, d-did you?" Sonia looked at Peonia and she nodded embarrassed as she took one of Ash's hands and he gave her a kiss on her cheek. "T-That makes me glad. Thank you, Ash." Sonia smiled.

"Listen, even if your heart was in the right place, you didn't have to tell her." Nessa continued. "Ash would have done it himself eventually."

"Sorry, I just did what I thought was the best for Peonia."

Nessa sighed and finally let her go. "Fine, fine, guess I forgive you...but Sonia, did you tell anyone else about this?"

"N-No..." She stuttered.

"Sonia! What do you mean that Ash is dating both Bea and Nessa?!" Gloria bursted into the lab.

"...Maybe I told Gloria." Sonia giggled. "But you all like her anyway, don't you?"

"I'm gonna tear your boobs off!" Nessa shouted but Bea held her back before she could reach Sonia.

"N-Nice to see you again, Ash..." Gloria greeted him as she looked at Nessa's reaction, she then noticed Ash was still holding Peonia's hand. "So, the t-three of them?"

"...Yes, Bea, Nessa and Peonia are all my girlfriends." Ash answered. "I won't lie to you, Gloria."

"Thanks you for being honest." Gloria smiled. "Is...Sonia into this as well?"

"N-No, I'm not!" Sonia stuttered.

"And even if she wanted to she's banned from joining for telling everyone and their mothers!" Nessa shouted.

"Ash...h-how did this even happen?" Gloria asked.

"Bea became my girlfriend on her own first and I was really happy with just that." Ash answered. "But then I came into the realization that I'd have to reject everyone else, you included, and...I couldn't do that, so I first asked Nessa yesterday and then Peonia wanted to join in as well so I accepted her, we're all together now, we had our problems, but we're doing good so far."

"Were you..." Gloria paused and tried to hide her blushing face with her hat. "W-Were you going to ask me to be with you as well?"

"I was." Ash quickly answered and raised her hat to look at her eyes. "You know you mean a lot to me, Gloria...and I know what I mean to you as well, you've told me... so, what do you say? Would my biggest fan like to be my girlfriend too?"

"Your girlfriend..." Gloria's eyes illuminated, but before she could answered she clenched her fists and looked down. "N-No..." She answered surprising everyone in the lab. "Sorry Ash, I...I can't do it."

"...Of course." Ash sighed. "I understand how all this may look; and there's no way I'd force you, I-I knew some girls wouldn't like the idea."

"W-Wait, I don't mean it like that!" Gloria exclaimed. "S-Sorry! I-I mean I'd love to be your girlfriend, but not yet, I made myself a promise, we can't be together until I prove myself to you."

"Gloria, you have nothing to prove to me." Ash answered. "I already know you're an amazing girl."

"Then you should also know that's not what I mean, I need to beat you in a Pokemon battle, after all you've done for me, after how you inspired me and changed my whole life, showing that I'm at your level is the only way I'll truly prove that I'm worthy of you."

"Worthy?" Ash asked. "If anything I'm not worthy of you for asking you to, well, to share me."

"I-I don't mind that part, really." Gloria said. "I'll admit I saw it as a possibility when Roxie jumped into the problem, but well, this sounds better than fighting with everyone else and leaving on the edge, wondering if you'll pick me or when..."

"If you're really okay with this then I want to be your boyfriend." Ash continued. "And I'm sure that the girls will accept you."

"Sorry, but I have to take my stand, believe me, a part of me wants to jump into your arms right now, but the other part wants to show you I've matured quite a bit since we first met, so I'm going to stick to my word..." Gloria then took off her hat and put it next to her heart. "When I beat you I'll be your girlfriend, I promise."

"...Fine, Gloria, it'll be as you want." Ash gave in. "But if you insist with that then I'd like to give you a little motivation at least."

"M-Motivation?" Gloria stuttered as Ash took one of her hands. "Y-You know that if you hold back during our next fight I'm not going to accept it, right?"

"I won't hold back, I promise I'll fight you with everything I got, this is just..." Ash took off his cap and put it next to his heart as well. "Just a little boost for next time we fight." Ash leaned down to her planting a kiss on her lips and parting away from a totally red and shocked Gloria a few moments later.

"A-Ash..." Gloria looked at him with stars in her eyes. "You kissed me?"

"What did I say? Just a little boost." He smiled.

"W-W-Well, if you allow me... there's something I've been wanting to do." Gloria took a few steps back and suddenly passed out.

"Gloria!" Everyone in the lab ran to aid her.

"I-I'm okay..." She answered giggling sitting on the floor. "Ash...A-Ash just kissed me, r-r-right on the lips..." Gloria stood up and looked at Ash. She then took a deep breath and gave him a sudden slap that knocked him onto the floor, not out of strength, but rather out of surprise.

"T-That was for stealing my first kiss!" Gloria shouted.

"I-I'm really sorry, I just thought-" Still on the floor Ash tried to apologize, but Gloria then reached out to him and sat on his lap. "Gloria?"

"And this is...f-for not doing it earlier." Gloria whispered and went for another kiss herself.

"G-Gloria, wait-"

"I want to keep tasting your lips." She interrupted him with a surprisingly alluring voice that left both Ash and her blushing to the limit.
