The next morning, after eating breakfast, Ivy realized she was in a pretty bad spot, even if she did reach town. She had no money and nothing to sell to make money. She was as poor as poor could be. What's more, she had no idea what was even worth anything since she had no use for money before. Her village had always fended for itself. Whether it came to food or medicine, it was all done by those in the village, using the knowledge they had gained over the years.

"Master, what's wrong?" Ellee could see that Ivy was acting strange. She did not understand human emotions, so she did not know what was wrong with her master.

"I was just thinking about how I was going to get new clothes when I have no money..." Her current clothes were not looking too good after her initial battle with Ellee and then fighting the rattatas. They were torn in places here and there,e and blood stains on them that would never come out.

Ellee was in the same boat as Ivy, but she had no idea about money in the first place. If not for Ivy turning her into a humanoid with her special pokeball, she would have never even understood the concept of money. Even though she understood Ivy was upset, she did not understand why. But she did understand one thing. "Master, can't you just trade some pokemon? I don't know what money is, but in my old pack, we used to trade things we found in the forest for things others had."

"Hmm.... I guess we can do that. But we need to find a road before anything. Once we find a road, I am sure if we follow it, we will find a town or a city, maybe a village." Ivy was fine with either or. She just wanted to secure some clothes, at the very least. She could always make a makeshift pack out of large leaves and tall grass.

"Then we should put off more battle training for now. Let's try to find a road."

The two began making their way across the meadow. The direction they were heading seemed to be heading towards a mountain range. Ivy did not know if it was the one near the primordial forest or not. But she did not dare turn back at this time. As they traveled, besides stopping to kill any pokemon that attacked them, Ellee spent her time teaching Ivy about the pokemon they passed by. While Ivy's souldex, as she now liked to call it, did give explanations on the pokemon she saw, Ellee's understanding of how they fought was very insightful. She did not know some of the pokemon since she was seeing them for the first time, but because she had fought many pokemon over the years, she knew a great deal more than what the souldex was giving her.

The two continued on their way until they finally, on the fifth day of travel, came upon a road. One way led away from the mountain range to their left and probably led to a town, but for some reason, Ivy felt her chest heating up when she looked toward the mountains. It was as if there was something deep inside her telling her to go to the mountains. For what reason, she did not know, but she knew one thing just the thought of going in the opposite direction would make her feel sick. "Master, are you okay?"

"Ellee, let's head toward the mountains. I don't know why but I feel I should go there." Ivy held her hand over her mouth as she took a deep breath through her nose.

"Is there a town in that direction?" Ellee had no idea where she was, so she wondered if Ivy knew something.

"I am not sure. But a town I is not our destination." Ivy clenched her fists. The burning sensation in her body was not easing up at all. She raised her hand and pointed at the mountain. "We have to go there."

"The mountain itself!? Master, I don't think we should head toward the mountain. They are none to have many powerful pokemon." Ellee was very much against this idea. To go to a mountain was basically walking to your own death. Mountains were the homes of many powerful pokemon. This was a well-known fact among all pokemon. This was why the weaker pokemon stayed in the forests.

"I know..." Ivy held her chest tighter. It was getting hard for her to even breathe. "But we have to go ."

"Master, what's wrong!?" Ellee finally realized there was something very wrong with Ivy. Her veins were starting to protrude, and her face was filled with pain.

"I don't know. I know the mountain is dangerous but its as if it is calling me..." Ivy bit her lip until she drew blood. She was really trying to endure the sensation overtaking her body.

"If that is what Master needs to do then..." Ellee didn't like it, but after spending time with Ivy, she knew her Master was not reckless. She was far from being the type to head to her own death. And from her current appearance, she could tell, Ivy was doing this not of her own will. As such, with Ellee's help, Ivy and Ellee began making their way toward the mountain.
