Pokemon ouroboros

Today I finally confronted father on the massive amounts of energy coming from the basement. to my surprise, he looked at me with a shocked face.

"How do you know it's coming from the basement, even a strong psychic pokemon cant tell it's coming from there," Father said with  a shocked expression however, that shocked expression became a creepy smile 

"unless your one of them. or that.  or maybe both of them" father said with a creepy smile. feeling a threat, Avan suddenly secretly gave ralts a sign that meant to teleport if the ralts feels any malice from father 

"follow," Father said as we walked into the Basement

In the basement, Avan watched as the massive amount of clay, metal, garbage and poisonous sludge  were in separate corners in secured containers 

each of the materials has a sign on top of them

"When our ancestors made the deal with the ancient volcorona, it was nearing its lifespan. so when the volocorona died, all but one of our ancestors mourned, that ancestor started experimenting with the ashes of the volcorona, that even after death held more vitality and life energy than around 500 human beings."

"Don't be fooled by this, however. this ancestor was not some evil dark wizard. in fact quite the opposite. he was the reason why we have such big standing. if not because of him our family would have faded in time and be long forgotten" father stated respectfully

"in ancient times, the world was in turmoil. droughts, civil war, natural disasters, famine plagued the lands daily. seeing this the ancestor, wanted to make a set of pokemon that could help build the different regions anew."

"The ancestor experimented with different types of ashes and seals that he could think of. One of those seals worked extremely well with intimate objects. so, feeling a flash of inspiration, he carved a pot of clay and put the seal he called the "ouroboros seal" on it. suddenly, the pot started to move about and gain sentience. over the course of a year, the ancestor started refining the clay pot, giving it arms and even legs, he then gives it a seal and ahead. this was the first inanimate object that ever turned into a pokemon.  golett.

after that, the ancestor started experimenting with different items, objects and inanimate objects. Kling, muk , voltorb , claydol and baltoy, golurk , magnemite, aegslash etc. were made by talented people in our family. all of them are geniuses and I think you have the talent to make legends like your ancestors. " father finished

"And you're basing your argument that I can create pokemon with what?"

"look up there," said Father as Avan did on the top of the ceiling there's a symbol and a powerful looking drifblim looking at me.

"that's an ouroboros seal and a ghost type pokemon designed to Shepard the souls that just went through reincarnation into here, where you insert the soul into the pokemon. there are the materials you use to create the pokemon. Now son, do you see anything else?

"What are these blue orbs father?" 

the blue orbs were transparent with different colours encased into the soul

"As expected,  those are the souls that you insert into pokemon. only the ancestor and a person 100 years ago was able to see them"

"How was the family expected to make pokemon if they couldn't see the souls?" 

"By the help of a ghost pokemon, notably Gengar,mismagius, gothielle and driftblim"

"Pokemon like driftblim can help not only Shepard the souls but also encase it into the objects"

Hearing all this knowledge, Avan needed a quick moment to think about it.

"Father. Answer me this."

"Yes?"

"Do the souls feel pain when they get trapped into a body?" 

"No, since there freshly reincarnated. all their memories and feelings get wiped until the ouroboros seal is fully activated, making them have feelings like any normal pokemon"

"So, what's the point of letting me know all this stuff?"

a stupid question. although I'm 24 mentally, if I was 7 in this situation I wouldn't probably handle the stress

" I want to teach you what I know about soul bending and a ouroboros seal."

"however I want you to do a selfish request of mine."
