Pokemon: Reborn As Ditto

Chapter 2: Motherfucking Pidgey

I decide to try and chill with the Magicarp for a bit, see if I can make some sense of this new world. And what better way to start than by trying out my Ditto powers? I focus on the Magicarp in front of me, thinking to myself, "I wanna be a Magicarp!"

The sensation is hard to describe, but it's like my body is made of dough and someone's shaping it into something new. A moment later, I feel the transformation take hold, and...

"Magicarpp!?" I trill in a high-pitched voice, mimicking the fish's earlier noise.

I also felt a flow of information or more like instincts of doing somethings. To my wonder, I realized that they were the moves I had!

Fuck yeah!

But the more I observed them, the lesser my enthusiam went. I only knew one move...Splash.

My body flopped on the shore.

The Magicarp in the river looks up at me, its big derpy eyes wide with surprise. It swims closer to shore, joining me on the bank. Now there are two Magicarps staring at each other, both of us looking like absolute fools with our wide-eyed expressions.

The Magicarp next to me makes some more "Magiiiii Carppp" noises, like we're having some sort of Pokémon conversation. I respond with more of the same, even though I'm not sure what the hell I'm saying.

After a moment, the Magicarp just swam away, not even saying goodbye. Well anyways.

I gotta admit, moving around as a Magicarp feels more natural than my previous Ditto form. Maybe it's because of the similarity in anatomy – I mean, who wouldn't feel at home with fins for hands and a tail fin for legs? Even if they're not exactly like human limbs, it still feels... constrained, but in a weirdly comfortable way.

I decide to take the plunge (literally) and flop my Magicarp body over to the river's edge. With a mighty *Splash*, I jump into the water, feeling the cool liquid envelop me.

Wow, what a fucking view!

The way the light filters down, the colors and textures of the aquatic plants, the school of fish darting by... it's all so damn beautiful.

I also saw a couple of big star like creatures with gemstone in its center laying around the river bed, Staryu if I remembered the name correctly. There were some other pokemons too, mainly Goldeens roaming around.

I start to explore, my Magicarp body gliding effortlessly through the water. I chase after a few stray fish, just for the hell of it, and even manage to catch one or two (which promptly escape again). It's exhilarating, and I feel more alive than I have in ages.

Oh yeah, apparently fishes also exist in this universe!

It was a goddamn good thing to know. At least people weren't eating pokemons in place of fishes. Or so I hoped...

As I swim along, my Magicarp body gliding effortlessly through the water, I feel like a total boss. Who needs legs when you can just fin it? Not me, that's for sure.

Now if you'll excuse me, I've got some more river-chillin' to do! Maybe I'll even find some fish babes to hang out with...

Ugh, what the hell was that? Why did I suddenly get the urge to hump some fish? Is being a Magicarp messing with my head or something? No way, I'm not gonna let this fish brain turn me into a fin-tastic freak.

I take a minute to meditate and focus on the important things in life – like remembering those hot human babes from my last life. I relive the memories of soft, supple boobs, big, round asses, and thighs that go on forever... yeah, that's what I'm talking about.

My horniness starts coming back, nice and strong. Okay, maybe not as intense as before, but it's better than nothing.

As a Magicarp, trying to sigh is kind of... weird. I mean, we don't exactly have lungs or anything. But I manage to make some sort of fishy noise that's supposed to be a sigh.

I'm still on the hunt for human babes in this Pokeverse. I mean, I'm not opposed to non-humans, but they've gotta fit my aesthetic standards, you know? Fish are just not my thing... or at least, not yet.

After a nice, cool swim, I jump out of the river, feeling the warm sun on my slimy skin. As a Magicarp, being out of water felt weird, to say the least. It wasn't when I had transformed, but now it felt like that.

Well, I had verified one thing atleast. Game logic wasn't applying on my usage of mimic ability, making it usable only in battle. I mean, it's idiotic to assume so, its a real world but I had to verify!

Anything is possible when you are reincarnated as a slime like Pokémon with broken powerset.

But then, the inevitable question pops up: how do I turn back into my pink slime form? It takes a moment, but eventually, my body starts to shift and contort, and... voilà! I'm back in my slimy glory!

So, it seems like all I need is intent for these transformations – Ditto's ability to change forms. And now that I think about it, I didn't inherit any instincts for moves when I woke up as Ditto, so maybe this Ditto form doesn't have any moves aside from Imposter?

Also disappointingly, I lost the instincts for the Splash, as useless as it was. Seems like I can use them only when transformed.

Wait, what if I can turn back into a Magicarp without there being a real Magicarp present? The thought sends a thrill through me.

'I wanna be a Magicarp!' I think to myself, but nothing happens. I get a weird feeling instead, it's like feeling lack of information, of details... Do I need to be Infront of a Pokémon in order to mimic?

That would be a bit disappointing, but I am not one to complain.

Beside I've got some ideas brewing in my head about this anyway...

I start moving away from the river, hoping to find some other Pokémon to mimic – at least then I'll have an easier time getting around!

As I'm strolling around, I spot something perched on a tree branch – a big bird that looks an awful lot like a pigeon. And wouldn't you know it? It's none other than Motherfucking Pidgey!

'I wanna be a Pidgey!' I think to myself, and suddenly my body starts to change. The sensation is weirdly familiar, like my cells are rearranging themselves into this new form.

...

huh, so that's how!

I remembered the Pokédex entry on Ditto, about its body cells changing to become another thing while transforming, and it looks like that's what's happening here too. I could somehow feel my cells changing to my whims, as if I am the master of all cells!

I know for one thing that many amazing things are possible with such a control over cells than merely [Imposter] ability to mimic the thing I am seeing. But that's a concern for later!

Giving my new wings a stretch, I move my body... and promptly face-plant into the ground. Or rather, beak-plant. It seems like movement instincts aren't automatically included with these transformations for me – bummer!

I pick myself up, dusting off my Pidgey feathers (or whatever they're called), and try again. Maybe it'll take some practice to get this whole "flying" thing down... or at least not beak-plant every time I move.
