After hearing Rax's instructions, everyone quickly called back their Pokémon but kept them outside for safety.

Cubone also retreated slightly, ensuring that the hole it had just dug remained within the range of its Stomping Tantrum attack.

Soon, the leader of the Nosepass group charged out angrily.

However, when it appeared, everyone's expressions changed drastically!

"Nosepass! It's evolved into Probopass!"

"Damn it, it evolved in just a few days!"

"It can fly now—traps are useless!"

Probopass's massive body radiated overwhelming pressure. After evolving, it naturally learned Magnet Rise, allowing it to break free from the ground and significantly enhance its mobility.

Everyone panicked, running instinctively, which also affected the morale of their Pokémon.

"Don't panic! There's only one Probopass now. If we focus our attacks, we can defeat it!

"As long as the trap holds, the rest of the Nosepass group won't pose a threat!"

Rax's calm voice rang through the chaos, momentarily overshadowing Probopass's roar.

Cubone took the lead, throwing its Bone Club directly at Probopass.

Perhaps due to its recent evolution, Probopass was still clumsy with Magnet Rise. When faced with the fast-approaching Bone Club, it instinctively tried to dodge but couldn't react quickly enough.

Probopass roared again, but this time, the sound was noticeably weaker.

Although it had evolved, it hadn't reached an elite level.

Thanks to Cubone's quadruple advantage in type matchup, it could still hold its ground despite the level difference.

The next moment, the three smaller Mini-Noses detached from Probopass's body, glowing silver as they flew in erratic patterns toward Cubone.

Magnet Bomb, a Steel-type move, was a guaranteed hit. Notably, only the Magnemite evolutionary line and Probopass could learn it. With its three Mini-Noses, Probopass could control the attack with precision, making it practically its signature move.

"Cubone, intercept it!" Rax shouted.

Cubone tried its best, but the Magnet Bombs hit from all angles, leaving it severely injured.

"Kirlia, use Psychic!" Harumi cried out nervously, her hands clutching her chest.

Kirlia's eyes glowed blue, attempting to manipulate Probopass. For a brief moment, the giant Pokémon wavered, distracted.

Taking advantage of the moment, Cubone knocked away the Mini-Noses, despite its injuries.

Bone Club!

Cubone threw its bone again, landing two more consecutive hits. Probopass staggered, its levitation faltering.

But as Kirlia's Psychic faded, Probopass refocused on its primary target: Cubone.

The Mini-Noses re-energized and launched again, but this time, Cubone was ready. It managed to deflect two with its bone and absorbed the third with its thick skull.

The tide began to turn.

Suddenly, two Vine Whips struck Probopass from either side. It was two Carnivines, stepping in to assist Cubone.

The coordinated attack disrupted Probopass's balance, but the moment was short-lived.

A red light locked onto one of the Carnivines as Probopass charged up an Electro Ball, releasing it with blinding speed.

Bang!

The Carnivine collapsed, severely injured.

The other Carnivine fled, leaving Cubone and Kirlia alone on the battlefield.

Rumble, rumble, rumble—dense footsteps echoed as the entire Nosepass group approached.

Rax acted swiftly. "Cubone, Stomping Tantrum! Kirlia, brace yourself!"

Kirlia created a protective barrier, giving Cubone the chance to trigger the trap.

The ground gave way, and most of the Nosepass group tumbled into the pit.

But Probopass wasn't done. Enraged by its companions' plight, it charged directly at Cubone.

"Cubone, Curse! Kirlia, shield again!" Rax's voice was sharp, his heart pounding.

Probopass collided with Cubone and Kirlia, sending the three tumbling.

When the dust settled, Cubone had been knocked out.

"Cubone!" Rax rushed forward, catching the fallen Pokémon mid-air.

For a brief moment, as he held Cubone, Rax felt like the destined hero of an epic story.

He tightened his grip. "We're not giving up!"
