Chapter 34: CHAPTER-34
Ecruteak city:
On the tall and lonely tower a man stood at the roof with no care in the world.
He had two exquisite earrings on his ears and wore a long lab coat which reached upto his knees with black pants.
A necklace with a circular shaped pendant hanged around his neck.
His black hair had grown quite long reaching upto his shoulder and a big purple bat was perched right besides him.
It was as massive as a car and it's wing span was twice its body size.
It was Noah's golbat who had evolved into a crobat.
'The poison he absorbed made him stronger.'
Noah felt like he was cheating.
Other than crobat, a silver Pokemon with human hand-like wings was clutching onto him as he carried it in a piggyback.
However today's main focus wasn't on crobat nor the baby lugia as a beautiful lady wearing a red kimono with fiery patterns appeared infront of him.
"Luu!?" Lugia seems to have sensed the woman's presence but he couldn't pinpoint where it was.
'I can also see ghost huh?' Noah took out a piece of candy and shoved it into Lugia's mouth to keep him shut.
"What brings you here?" The lady asked with some curiosity as she eyed the lugia munching on the piece of candy.
She could also see that the purple bat also desired some but he didn't speak up.
Golbat felt that he was too grown up for candies.
"Nothing just wanted to inform you that I will be leaving tomorrow." Noah said as he reminded her about his thoughts on travelling to different regions.
"Hoenn right? The place where the orbs are kept?" She asked as she pondered to remember something.
"Yeah." Noah's reply was quick and short.
"Oh then you can meet him if his ghost still exists." Noah wanted to ask who this particular person was but he knew she wouldn't tell him.
Where's the fun in that?
"Well anyways that's all I have to say." Noah didn't want to continue the conversation and started to leave.
'Depressed?' The kimono girl wanted to know what was wrong but didn't ask about it.
'Sometimes you have to give them some time alone.' She sighed and vanished.
Meanwhile, Noah's footsteps was the only thing that kept the silence from enveloping the tower as he descended from the stairs.
'To be honest Her death didn't really affect me,
Her life did.' Noah was a sucker for tragic stories.
'And those videos are etched into my mind.'
His stomach churned upon remembering those images.
Right now, only lugia was out of it's pokeball and crobat had to go back in because of his size.
'I am hungry.' He craved some burgers right now.
'I also need to visit Prof.Elm for my promotion.'
Noah was about to turn 18 tomorrow.

Noah hotel room:
Noah had taken off his clothes and slid into some comfortable ones.
He wore a white T-shirt and black shorts with some white socks.
Right now all his Pokemon except the large ones were out of their pokeballs.
All of them had an excited expression as they eyed the clock in anticipation.
It was currently 11:53 and all of them were huddled around the dinner table.
A burger at the size of a cake was sitting ontop of the table with a candle representing the age 18 burning on top of it.
The room was completely dark making the candle light the only source of light for them.
All of his Pokemon held a gift box in their hands seemingly made sloppily.
But it was enough to melt Noah's heart as he felt very grateful.
His mood right now wasn't the same as in the morning as he also held some anticipation for his eighteenth birthday.
The flickering candle light was reflected through the eyes of each one of them as the clock hit 12:00.
Truth be told, it was complete mayhem.
Noah's lifeless eyes stared at the single piece of cabbage and the spices of tomatoes left on the table.
'Guess I will just go to sleep.' Noah walked back to his and layed down.
Flaaffy used his tail as a light source and jumped onto Noah's bad and snuggled closer to him.
Combusken slept on a chair while chandelure was spinning on a corner.
Lugia hugged Noah tightly as he slowly drifted into a deep sleep.
'Takes me back.' It has only been a month or so and he has already started reminiscing the past.
'Heh to be honest I'd thought that I would step up to stop and evil cult.' He still felt that all of this was a dream.
'If this god is real then is he stronger that Arceus.' This question went unanswered in Noah's mind.
'I mean if it was stronger than him what chance do I have?' He was just a normal guy with millions of souls trapped inside him.
'My body has to be pretty strong to hold this much souls right? Or does it have nothing to do with it?' He had a lot of unanswered questions.
'Wait then what about my parents? Were they just tampered memories?' He knew that anything was possible for him right now.
However, the fond memories from his parents whether real or not would be never forgotten by him.
Small droplets of tears dripped from the corner of his eyes.
'I am crying?' He questioned himself.
He never experienced something like this.
He had cried but most of them were from physical pain.
He had never gotten so emotional.
'Oh it's not just me.' He clutched his pendant and could hear the wails slowly turning into sobs.
He felt his eyelids wriggling, it was a wierd feeling as if he had a thousand pupils in his eyes.
'They are crying with me too.' He revealed a small yet grateful smile.
Maybe it was because of the atmosphere.
Or it was because they were connected as a single being.
Noah didn't the what would be the answer to this question from the other souls.
But for him, deep down he felt that he had some people to trust.
People with whom he could be himself and not being constantly paranoid.
For the first time ever since coming to existence.
Noah felt like he had finally found companions to whom he can open up, tell his worries and share his joy and sorrows.
Today was a day of sorrow.
The pain of seperationc constantly remained inside their hearts.
And today they let it all out and comforted eachother.
Not a single word was said, not a single word was needed.
