Chapter 34
Hearing this, a few low laughs escaped Fu Yanhe’s lips.
It seemed that he was not afraid anymore. It seemed that he could go too far next time because this was the tacit approval of his wife. If he did not cherish the rights his wife had given him, he would be too ignorant.
Was he the kind of person who was ignorant and wouldn’t get into trouble?
Of course, he wasn’t.
In a corner not far away, several young girls couldn’t help but whisper excitedly.
It was a CP moment, a real-life version, and it was still two handsome guys with very good looks. They seemed to be having a great time “knocking” each other out.
“Don’t be a coward. Kissing on the face isn’t enough. If you’re a real man, just kiss on the lips. Don’t kiss taste good? The little handsome guy’s lips look so kissable. If you can’t do that, handsome guy, just tell me, and I’ll kiss him for you.”
It wasn’t difficult to hear the hint of hatred for no braveness in the tone.
Unfortunately, Fu Yanhe heard what he thought was a quiet murmur. He silently moved to block Gu Wenning even more tightly, hugging him firmly and shielding him from the sight of others.
He didn’t want outsiders to see his wife blushing and looking shy.
Gu Wenning was very good-looking. There was a thin layer of water vapor in his eyes now. His cheeks, usually pale and bloodless, were slightly rosy and pink, dispelling the coldness on his face. He looked very kissable and easy to bully. The possessiveness in Fu Yanhe’s heart spread silently, and the urge to rub the person into his arms reached its peak.
Gu Wenning didn’t understand why and reached out to pat Fu Yanhe gently, signalling him to let go, but he was hugged even tighter.
The warm breath on his neck felt like feathers crossing his heart. Gu Wenning calmed down and looked sideways at the tall man who kept rubbing against him. He had an inexplicable illusion that a large dog was acting coquettishly toward him.
After a moment, Fu Yanhe reluctantly let go of his hands and then placed a paw on the back of Gu Wenning’s hand, holding it.
“It’s getting late, honey. Let’s go home,” Fu Yanhe said gently.
Gu Wenning had no objection, so the two of them embarked on the return trip.
After sitting in the car and relaxing, Gu Wenning could no longer hide his tiredness. He closed his eyes and began to doze off.
Seeing this, Fu Yanhe, who had been chattering moments before, gradually lowered his voice and eventually became silent. Instead, he quietly admired his wife’s peaceful sleeping face beside him. When he noticed Gu Wenning’s head tilting slowly, he took the initiative to move his shoulder over so that Gu Wenning could continue sleeping comfortably.
After finding a place to rely on, Gu Wenning unconsciously shifted his head, finding a more comfortable position before falling asleep peacefully.
Fu Yanhe’s shoulder, which Gu Wenning was leaning on, became as stiff as a rock. He didn’t dare to move for fear of accidentally waking him up.
Fortunately, he still had one free hand. After fishing out his phone and turning on the camera, Fu Yanhe began taking pictures with ease.
When he couldn’t see his wife, he counted on these photos to sustain him. Although the pictures were far less beautiful than his wife in person, they were still a comfort.
Fu Yanhe first took a photo of Gu Wenning and then took a selfie, focusing the camera on himself and the peacefully sleeping Gu Wenning beside him.
Without Gu Wenning’s knowledge, Fu Yanhe successfully obtained the first photo of the two of them together.
After snapping away, Gu Wenning’s posture and expression remained unchanged in the camera, but Fu Yanhe was a different story. In some shots, he made funny faces; in others, he wore a straight face, pretending to be serious. Occasionally, he showed his teeth in a comical way, shedding any image of a serious boss.
It wasn’t until he accidentally turned on the flashlight that he realized his mistake. Worried that Gu Wenning would wake up, Fu Yanhe quickly stashed his phone like a thief, though the curve at the corner of his mouth refused to fade.
Taking photos with his wife was pure joy.
That night, Fu Yanhe wanted to stay at Gu Wenning’s place, but Gu Wenning refused.
Rejected, Fu Yanhe drooped his eyebrows, gazing at Gu Wenning like a scorned lover. His pitiful, abandoned expression coupled with his low mutter carried the tone of a man accusing his heartless partner:
“Wife, how can you be like this? We’re already so close, and now you’re kicking me out. Have mercy on me. I’ve dedicated twenty-seven years of my life, given you my all, only to end up with someone unkind. Sure enough, once you get what you want, you stop cherishing it.”
Gu Wenning was drinking water at the time and nearly spit it out. Struggling to swallow, he shot Fu Yanhe an irritated glance. “Mr. Fu, stop talking nonsense!”
What did he mean by “get what he want”?
Fu Yanhe replied matter-of-factly, “I’m not talking nonsense. We’ve kissed and hugged. Wife, you have to take responsibility for me. I’ve already given you my body and my heart.”
After a pause, a sly smile crept into his eyes. “Unless, of course, my wife wants to test whether my skills are up to standard first. I understand if you’re unsure. Words are meaningless; practice is more convincing. Let me serve you just once, show you my strength. I promise, after one try, you’ll want a second.”
He was confident in his abilities and certain he could bring his wife plenty of happiness.
Gu Wenning’s head was practically covered in black lines as he tugged at the corner of his mouth. “No need.”
“Hearing is false; seeing is believing,” Fu Yanhe declared, his voice brimming with arrogance. “Wife, don’t be shy. Just lay down and enjoy it.”
Something about his tone made Gu Wenning pause. He wasn’t entirely naive and quickly pieced together what Fu Yanhe was implying. His face darkened slightly as realization struck.
Why would he need to lay down? Could it be…
Gu Wenning’s gaze fell on Fu Yanhe, who was clearly larger than him in every sense. After silently assessing himself, Gu Wenning became speechless.
It seemed… unrealistic.
Mr. Fu was too big.
Despite his teasing words, Fu Yanhe had no intention of acting on them immediately. He knew Gu Wenning hadn’t agreed, and no preparations had been made. Fu Yanhe was careful not to cross any lines, even though the temptation gnawed at him. He might have endured some discomfort, but he wouldn’t act rashly.
In the end, Fu Yanhe didn’t manage to stay overnight. However, he did take the opportunity to corner Gu Wenning on the sofa, trapping him in a tight embrace and stealing a passionate kiss.
The earlier peck outdoors wasn’t enough for Fu Yanhe. To him, it was just a brief brush of lips—far from what he considered a true first kiss. There had been no passion, no spark.
This time, before diving in, Fu Yanhe murmured softly, “Honey, I want to kiss you.”
As soon as the words left his lips, he pressed the back of Gu Wenning’s neck and leaned in. His kiss wasn’t light or fleeting. It was urgent, fiery, and full of ferocity.
Fu Yanhe’s lips moved with eagerness, claiming every breath that belonged to Gu Wenning. He kissed deeply, exploring hungrily and leaving no room for retreat.
