Someone was screaming some weird thing in the distance. Rowan thought it better to not entertain random people in his dream and just tried to get back to sleep, however from his right side a sound of someone moving through the twigs and trees came, which was getting louder and louder with each minute. “Uluk.. Where the hell are...” The stranger trailed off after seeing Rowan tied up to the tree.

After saying that she started walking in a random direction and Rowan, not understanding what to do followed behind her. If this was a dream, this had gone for way too long. This was most likely something else.. Did he die or something while watching TV..? Was this heaven or something or new life..?

“I can’t remember anything.. I think they hit my head...” Rowan made an excuse to ask some questions.

“Why do you even hang with them..? They are useless and have no food at all.. They don’t even work or hunt.. Useless and lazy..”

“So I am your brother.. Older..?”

“Of course not, younger. I have seen 19 winters, you are only on your 15.”

“What year is this..?”

“Yee’r..? What’s that..? Can you eat it..?”

“No. How do people get food..?” Rowan asked the most basic question to understand what level of civilization they had here.

“From the great forest.. And barter of course..”

“Barter..?”

“Yes. Like I do.. and mother does.. I use my powers to build and repair houses when I am not training, while mom gets it by sex, she being a mundane..”
