Progenitor Vampire: I Have Many Skills!

Chapter 475: A Replicator

Those who once fought against L-Je and L-Ji might have understood what Matthew was experiencing.

L-Ji's unique ability, with which a terrifying existence was born for this world. Whether he was a vampire, human, devourer, or dragon, everyone had to respect and even fear this ability, which had amazing potential.

Still, it had a fatal problem, which Matthew suddenly witnessed.

The voice of that L-Ji echoed.

"Vampire, be proud to witness the skill that will rule this world in the future. Replication. I can replicate and improve a skill or tactic used against me a few times to use it a few times. No matter if it's your magic exploit skill or your ice skill, I can easily replicate it. If you don't have a skill that surpasses my ability, then you're done.

And although time is pressing and weakness is annoying, if it's the last thing you'll hear, then it's satisfying. Don't worry, I'll eat your meat; it should be delicious." His voice had changed. He sounded haughty and arrogant.

A replication skill, with the ability to replicate any skill or tactic, was certainly amazing. Although he could only use the replicated thing for a stipulated time and a few times, it was enough to accomplish what he wanted. Continue your saga on empire

His only weakness is that he should speak up and explain his ability when he uses it for the first time.

That's why he tried to exploit him in a combined attack with his brother. If he could kill his target in the first attack, he didn't need to say it. But this time, he couldn't do it.

Matthew then understood what was going on.

'They certainly are mutants. Only mutants could have such an absurd ability like that.' But even as he thought this, he smiled.

To use their own abilities against him and think they were going to win? That was being really stupid.

"Heh, you picked the wrong thing to copy, you idiot." After saying this, he turned around and made as if to grab something. He squeezed and shook it, causing the Frozen Time that had been copied to shudder; at the same time, a portion of the space in that place was suddenly frozen and disappeared.

"Icy Blast," Matt said softly, and an explosion erupted, creating a huge gap in the ability. He then moved backward as if he wanted to avoid something and jumped as he started to fly.

Just a few milliseconds later, more than 70 powerful attacks hit the place where he had been. Immediately after, the ability broke.

L-Ji flinched at the sight and turned upwards to where Matthew was flying. "What? Impossible. I clearly hit you dozens of times." He spoke.

Matthew shrugged as he watched Frozen Time collapse in front of him.

"Stupid, your ability may be amazing, and I can't deny it. I really wish you were one of those Heirs, as I would like to have that ability. But... Using my tactics against me?" Matthew scoffed as he said this. "You don't even know how time works, nor do you know how to keep it. You're just another stupid person with an amazing ability."

Even though Matthew scoffed, he felt different inside. He knew that was only so with his Frozen Time because he was the only one who had ever understood it. Understanding time was complicated, even when it came to 'freezing' it in a particular place and situation.

But his other abilities were not like that. If that guy could replicate his Frozen World or, even more so, his new Unique Ability, the situation would be dangerous. Although Matthew could almost be sure, he couldn't do it.

L-Ji himself had said it: 'If you don't have a skill that surpasses my ability...' That must be one of the weaknesses of that skill.

'He shouldn't be able to replicate supreme abilities.' Matthew smiled. Honestly, although he was curious, he didn't intend to check it out.

He wasn't an idiot, after all. If it went wrong, he would possibly die as he was on his own.

But that didn't mean he couldn't play with what he already knew.

L-Ji felt offended after hearing that. He frowned. "I see, you're pretty good." He spoke. "I'd like to see how far you can stand upright, fighting against the two of us." After saying this, L-Je, who had been watching everything from the side, stood behind Matthew.

"You must know one thing, little one. When we are together, our power increases." He said, smiling mysteriously. He pulled the dagger towards him, and with a wave of his other hand, more than 15 daggers appeared around him. They all danced softly as if they were small helpless flowers, but they were almost 20 daggers that could travel at an absurd speed and even break Matthew's ability.

That made him frown. 'That's a lot of threads he uses, but those threads don't entangle with each other; it's like they're independent.' The reality was that this pair of twins couldn't be normal.

They weren't even using the path they had chosen nor those strange Waves. Maybe it's because they weren't powerful enough to have Energy Waves, but the reality was that they didn't seem to be fighting with everything. That was worrisome.

At that moment, one of the daggers moved astonishingly towards Matthew, snapping him out of his thoughts. He moved his hand quickly to that spot and froze it. But at the same time, he saw that the guy with the daggers had moved out of place, and all of his daggers were flying towards him at high speeds.

The most troublesome thing is the screeching sound of the ice cutting. 'Tsk, there are too many of them, and they have a high penetration capability in the face of defenses.' Matthew was forced to quickly jump around the place, causing the daggers to stick in different parts of the area.

In one of those jumps, he felt static.

'This bastard.' He growled internally but quickly created fire magic in his hands and feet to create a powerful explosion of magic to break the Frozen Time.

Although he could certainly feel it and knew perfectly well how to break it, it was problematic to have it done at a time when deadly daggers were following him.

That was why, as soon as he exploited, he put his feet on the ground and, with all his might, created an invisible defense with his own power. It was an instinctive movement to all sides, using the Understanding of Control in its current best state.

Just then, the deadly fast daggers crossed the blast of fire unaffected by it and clashed firmly against Matthew's perfect defense. One of those hit in the right place, so it managed to break through the defense and hit Matt's side.

Still, it was only a slight, barely perceptible scratch that broke a bit of his flesh.

Matthew smiled and looked at the man standing a few feet away.

He frowned at the sight of those stopped daggers. "I thought that would be enough, so I stopped attacking, but... Have you achieved the understanding of the First Step in the Path of Control?" he asked in complete shock.
