Chapter 27: Chapter 27 Range Suppression

  Shaxi Town, Kloster Chemical Plant.

Lyon was holding a Remington 700 police sniper rifle, lying on the roof of a small building about 700 to 800 meters away from the chemical plant. The center of the sight was facing a strong, bald white man.

He narrowed his eyes, held his breath, and adjusted the muzzle of the gun according to wind direction, gravity, and distance.

  boom!

  A crisp gunshot rang out.

In the sight, a bright flower of blood burst out from the thigh of the bald white man.

  Snap!

The ferocious-looking man immediately fell to the ground, holding his thighs and wailing on the ground. His companions were frightened and immediately hid in different shelters, looking around randomly.

Damn! I'm still not proficient enough.

Although he had practiced shooting with sniper rifles hundreds of times, he still couldn't hit the target accurately. This shot was originally aimed at the bald man's head.

But it doesn't matter, these street thug-level predators have never experienced the feeling of being shot by a sniper rifle.

A distance of seven or eight hundred meters is already within the range of a pistol. Even if they discover him, they cannot pose any threat to Leon.

Ding! Moore's voice came from the intercom.

"Boss, I heard your gunshots. Do you need us to launch an attack immediately?"

Leon ejected the hot shell, turned the gun, and aimed the scope at a gangster who was hiding stupidly behind a wooden board.

"Don't move now, keep hiding and wait for my order."

Moore's voice was not nervous at all, and even had a hint of excitement.

"Okay, boss, Lao Mo is waiting for your order."

  boom!

  Another crisp gunshot was heard.

Leon was quite lucky with this shot. The bullet went straight through the wooden board and pierced the gangster's neck, taking away a large piece of flesh and blood.

Blood spurted out more than a meter away. The tattooed gangster covered his neck and lay on the ground, hissing in despair.

This was Leon's first kill. Perhaps because it was a long-distance kill, he felt no negative emotions at all. He even felt an excitement and excitement that surpassed any other life.

He changed the bullet again and turned the gun. Leon's arm was as steady as a rock, and the sight didn't shake at all.

The target this time is a middle-aged gangster in his 40s with dyed green hair.

There was a ferocious skull tattoo on his face. Perhaps he was terrified by the slaughter of his companions without any resistance. His expression was distorted and he crawled towards the building trembling all over, not noticing that he had left the protection of the bunker.

  boom!

  The third gunshot!

This time the aim was a little off, and it hit the green-haired thug's right wrist with a whoosh. Flesh and blood flew everywhere, and the whole palm was thrown several meters away, falling at the feet of another thug. There was another scum wailing desperately on the ground.

Lyon reloaded and aimed again, but the remaining three predators had learned their lesson and lay still behind obstacles, not daring to move at all.

After chatting for a minute, seeing that the three men were not about to come out even if they were killed, Leon turned the gun around and aimed it at the strong bald man who was shot in the thigh for the first time and was still wailing desperately.

According to the intelligence from the prisoners, this man is the so-called Fire Bull Gang leader Emton, a real bad guy who has been in jail many times and committed many murders.

This kind of person would not be left alive even if he was caught alive.

He held his breath and aimed for a few seconds.

  boom!

  The fourth gunshot.

The bullet hit the man's chest and abdomen directly, creating a huge bloody hole.

The wailing stopped abruptly, as if fear overwhelmed everything. A golden-haired gangster in his 20s with a crazy expression suddenly stood up from the cover and started shooting indiscriminately with a pistol, his mouth opening and closing rapidly, as if he was cursing something.

Leon did not tolerate him. With the fifth gunshot, the young gangster fell to the ground wailing, holding his stomach which had a bloody hole in it, and soon died.

Of the eight thugs who took part in the sneak attack, two died in Atlanta, three died here, and one had his hand broken, basically losing the power to resist.

Leon thought about it. The leader was already dead. In the apocalypse, human life was the most precious. Even if they were captured and made slaves, it was better than becoming zombies.

He did not continue to kill them all, but took out the intercom and said:

"Moir, you can go in and arrest people. Be careful. You can accept surrender. If you resist, you will be killed directly."

  "I will cover you remotely."

After a few seconds, Moore's voice came over with a hint of depression.

"Boss, you are too powerful. After just a few shots, they stopped. We didn't even have a chance to show our abilities."

  Leon laughed and said:

"Don't worry. Our main enemies are still the zombies. I don't want to make the already scarce human population even more scarce."

You weren't so merciful when you killed someone just now, Moore complained silently in his heart and said:

  "Yes, boss, let's get started!"

  "Well, be safe."

Through the sight, Leon noticed that Umbrella Corporation's combat team began to surround the chemical plant.

Ten strong men equipped with bulletproof vests and protective clothing and holding automatic assault rifles surrounded two low-level thugs who were lying in the bunker, dared not move, and only had pistols in their hands. The result is self-evident.

Lyon was on guard against any accidents the whole time. It was not until Moore and others tied up the three surviving thugs that he slowly walked towards the occupied chemical plant from the top floor where he was hiding.

Moore was familiar with the following procedures, and without Leon's instructions, he took his men to search the chemical plant thoroughly.

The food had been consumed and there were few daily necessities left. Moer found thirteen survivors trapped tightly in a warehouse, including three children, two elderly people and eight adults.

They had probably been starved for several days and everyone was very weak. There were also two younger women whose clothes were in disarray and had obvious signs of being violated.

Although it was rather miserable, it was not beyond their imagination.

In addition, they also found nearly 100 tons of fertilizers and various chemical raw materials in the factory. What interested Lyon most was sulfur. Based on Lyon's superficial knowledge of chemistry, this should be one of the important raw materials for making gunpowder.

It's a distance of 30 kilometers, so there's no rush to transport it back.

After receiving all the supplies from the raiders, Leon recorded the coordinates here and returned to the Umbrella Corporation's base with the weak survivors.

Amy had been waiting obediently in the reception hall on the first floor. Leon briefly explained the situation to her, and the increasingly skilled assistant immediately arranged the next matters.

Storing supplies, receiving the wounded, arranging food and accommodation, registering relevant information, all things are arranged in an orderly manner.

Leon didn't care about these little things. He was very confident in Amy's abilities.

Today was a busy day, with various things happening one after another. In the blink of an eye, it was almost dusk. They had been waiting for a whole day, and it was time to go meet Sean and the others.
