Redemption Of The Yandere Villain

Chapter 82: Letter Of Vulgary?

Upon awakening the following morning, Eugene's gaze lacked focus.

In the fleeting moments that ensued, he realized he felt no pain, his body wasn't sore, nor uncomfortable from yesterday's exercise. Gradually, Eugene lowered himself and noticed a shimmering strand swaying with his movement. As Eugene reached out to grasp the silvery threads, his pupils dilated as he recognized them as his own hair.

He gasped and glanced sideways.

There, on the bed, he spotted Kaizer's long raven color hair scattered, confirming his suspicion that during their intimate contact the day before, they unconsciously transformed into their god forms due to the shared divine magic. No wonder he felt nothing; in their godly state, their bodies would automatically regenerate from any damage, returning to their former vitality.

Rubbing his forehead, Eugene raised his legs and delivered a forceful kick to Kaizer.

He stood up and made his way toward the bathroom.

Kaizer, who had fallen from the bed, woke up in surprise and hastily rose to his feet, gazing at Eugene's back as he noticed Eugene's long silver hair. Momentarily dazed, Kaizer then looked at his own hair and realized he had transformed into his god form, swiftly reverting back.

His height decreased slightly, reverting to his fifteen-year-old self.

No wonder he had such stamina the previous day.

He had been too engrossed in pleasuring Eugene to notice their transformation into their god forms. Fortunately, he had cast a protective barrier the previous night; otherwise, the release of abundant divine magic would have caused disturbances in the world, potentially alerting the heavens to their presence.

Damn, no wonder his wife had kicked him out of bed early in the morning!

Now, morning kisses are gone!

Feeling disheartened, he rose and returned to bed, waiting for Eugene to finish bathing.

However, when Eugene finished bathing and emerged from the bathroom, he approached Kaizer and angrily punched him in the stomach, asking, "Did you enjoy yourself yesterday?" through gritted teeth before continuing, "Now, wait another hundred years!"

Kaizer clutched his stomach, begging for forgiveness.

"Honey, I'm sorry!"

Ignoring Kaizer, Eugene stormed out of the room, slamming the door behind him.

Raphael was tidying up his young master's room when the door suddenly swung open. He observed his young master, his face twisted in displeasure, collapsing onto the bed while fixating on the ceiling, lost in thought. Though he wondered what had happened, he didn't question his young master's mood and continued cleaning, creating a soothing atmosphere.

Eugene closed his eyes and let out a sigh.

"Raphael, did a letter arrive from the palace?"

Raphael glanced at the study table and responded with a respectful tone, "Yes, it arrived last night during the engagement banquet. Additionally, a letter from the Vena Church arrived this morning, sent by Young Master Eullian."

Eugene opened his eyes and raised an eyebrow.

"A letter from Eullian? Hand it to me."

Eugene lifted his body and sat on the edge of the bed, observing as Raphael retrieved the letter from the table and presented it to him.

He first opened the letter from the emperor and perused its contents.

His lips couldn't help but curl upward upon reading the favorable news. "Raphael, prepare my clothes. I will be heading to the palace later."

Eugene then opened the letter from Eullian and began reading.

His brows furrowed.

Eullian's letter solely revolved around his engagement and made no mention of their currently imprisoned parents. This left Eugene perplexed, questioning why Eullian remained so composed while their parents, who had showered him with love and affection, suffered.

During the trial, Eugene had prepared himself for a confrontation with Eullian, yet Eullian had neither visited him nor their parents upon arriving at the Vena Church. This indifference made him doubt Eullian's sentiments toward their parents.

The content is like this...

Dearest beloved brother,

Learning about your engagement has left me feeling despondent. It's as if the thorns of the roses that encircle me have withered upon realizing that you will be sharing your life with someone else. I never wanted my brother to marry. I understand that my selfish desire is not something you would approve of, especially since I've heard about your love for the young duke.

My heart is breaking, and I can't help but wonder if you could treat me kindly. Embrace me in your arms and whisper words of love. It may sound peculiar to you, but dear brother, I longed for your warm smiles and affectionate treatment.

Here in the church, I spend my days devoted to the gods and the people of the empire.

Brother, I am deeply loved in this place, and they claim I am deserving of it. As a saint, everyone should love, worship, and respect me. I am certain that when we reunite, you will kneel before me and kiss the back of my hand. That would be the happiest moment for me if it ever happens. I eagerly await that day. I wish to offer you my blessings before your marriage, as it is the only thing I can do while watching you turn your back on me.

However, dear brother, I will never wish for you to live happily with that man.

I don't believe he deserves you or your love.

My heart is shattered to the point where I can't concentrate, and I have faced reprimands from the Pope. I wanted to attend your engagement, but the church forbade me, claiming that such impurity should not touch my pure body. Brother, doesn't that imply that the grand dukedom is consumed by wickedness? If that's the case, may I be the one to cleanse your body when the time comes?

Perhaps I have lost my sanity...

Eugene angrily closed the letter, his frustration mounting. He crumpled it up and shouted, "When did Eullian become so callous? Has his time at the academy not been enough to rid him of these misconceptions? What if someone accidentally reads this and misunderstands?!"

Raphael was taken aback. "Young master, did Young Master Eullian offend you again?"

Eugene angrily threw the crumpled paper and commanded, "Burn it!"

Eugene didn't let the letter affect him, assuming that Eullian was simply not in the right state of mind after being sent to the Vena Church and losing his freedom.

Unbeknownst to Eugene, Eullian meant every word he wrote.

"Saintess Rebecca!"

Eullian stood on the stairs, his face devoid of expression, and immediately burst into tears when people who arrived looked up at him suspiciously after witnessing Saintess Rebecca falling from upstairs.

"I-I didn't push her. S-Saintess Rebecca took a wrong step and fell. I-It all happened so quickly, and I couldn't catch her."

Eullian's tear-streaked face appeared pitiful, and his recent appointment as the new saint made others believe that he wouldn't harm anyone. The matter was not pursued further, and it was declared an accident.

Saintess Rebecca fell into a coma...

...and Eullian's position became solidified.

Eullian's tanzanite eyes glowed with a purple hue as he walked through the hallways of the temple. Coincidentally, the Pope was also on his way to pray for his cousin's well-being after hearing that neither magic nor divine powers could wake up Rebecca from her coma. Yitiach glanced at Eullian with a deep, scrutinizing gaze before averting his eyes.

"Your Holiness..."

Yitiach ignored Eullian and didn't bother looking back.

Eullian's expression darkened.

"Your Holiness, I believe Saintess Rebecca's fall down the stairs is not the cause of her unconsciousness. There might be a deeper reason, and I hope we can thoroughly investigate this matter."

Yitiach snorted.

"The only person present when Rebecca had an incident was Eullian. Do you think it's easy to accuse a saint appointed by God? Even if you are unwilling, we cannot do anything for now. Further investigation would offend the saint."

Bishop Veroncio clenched his fists and choked back his words.

"But, Your Holiness, I believe Saint Eullian has a wicked heart!"

Yitiach remained silent.

After all, if they were talking about a wicked heart, he was sure the Catharis family would top the list.

People were simply unaware of what they had been doing in the shadows, and Yitiach enjoyed playing games so much that he didn't mind keeping Eullian around, watching him run amok. Moreover, it was so intriguing that he wanted to discover Eullian's motives for harming his cousin.

"That's blasphemy, Bishop Veroncio."

In the Del Viltaria dukedom, Casimin buried himself in paperwork when Cadmus entered his office holding a tray. "Brother, try this. I ordered it from the Eastern Empire. It's called coffee, and it's quite popular among noblemen. I heard it can help those who feel sleepy during the day."

Casimin smiled and looked at his younger brother affectionately.

"Is it good? Where did you learn about this beverage?"

"Clarence told me."

Casimin raised an eyebrow. "Clarence? From the House of Marquis El Domanio?"

Cadmus nodded. "Yes, we met at the academy, and we were in the same class. We got along well. He's a good guy, although he can be a bit shortsighted at times. He accepts correction from others and apologizes when necessary. I think that's what makes him a good person."

Casimin took a sip of the coffee, and his eyes lit up.

"This is delicious."

Cadmus chuckled. "See? I must thank Clarence for introducing me to this drink."

Casimin set down his cup.

"Do you have any money left? If not, I'll ask my secretary to provide you with an allowance. Use it to buy a gift to thank your friend and repay the money you spent on buying this."

"It's fine, brother. You've already given me so much money, and I didn't know where to spend it. It felt right to bring this drink for you since Clarence mentioned that you might enjoy it. Next time, I'll buy different varieties so you can try them all."

Casimin let out a sigh.

"How can you be so thoughtful?"

Cadmus hummed. "Well, you sacrificed your chance to study at the academy because of our father's arrest. So, I think I should do something to make you feel better."

Casimin stood up from his chair and walked toward his younger brother, enveloping him in a hug and patting Cadmus's head.

"Don't feel guilty. None of this is your fault. It was our father's mistake. Besides, with the foundation of our household, it's not easy to tear it down. I also received a letter from the Catharis family, and they're helping me for the sake of our brother, Zevi." Casimin furrowed his brow and continued, "We may never meet our elder brother, but His Excellency Catharis said that Zevi pleaded with his husband to assist me. Although I'm glad that he acknowledges us despite never meeting, I can't help but feel sorrowful and yearn to see him, even just once."

Cadmus pursed his lips.

"Brother Zevi is probably watching over us from afar. Don't be sad."

"Yeah. At least I know he recognizes us."

Casimin, Cadmus, and Britanny had no idea what their eldest brother looked like since there were no portraits of him. However, their mother always described him as sensible and beautiful, vowing that he would protect the little ones once his sibling was born. It was a shame that their own father couldn't protect him, and he was taken by the Catharis family as a child bride due to the son of the head of the Catharis family taking a liking to Zevi.

Since then, Zevi had been kept in the Catharis dukedom, and his existence in the Del Viltaria household ceased to exist. Even the nobles had forgotten that the Duke of Del Viltaria had an eldest son.

"Catharis doesn't meet people in person, but I still included in the letter my request to meet our elder brother. Although the chances of it being allowed are slim, I won't stop hoping that one day, we will all be together."

Casimin guided his younger brother to sit on the couch.

"Cadmus, do you really dislike Eugene?"

Cadmus lowered his gaze, his eyelashes trembling.

"You know, you're my precious little brother too. I won't allow you to change your surname to Shradinza, and Eugene also told me that he has no intention of changing his surname to Del Viltaria. Also, he can't come to the house anymore because he's already engaged to Kaizer and will spend the rest of his life in the grand dukedom."

"It's not that I dislike him, brother. Besides, we don't know each other well and haven't had any communication. Wouldn't it be awkward to meet now?"

"You'll be fine. Yesterday, Eugene even scolded me for not bringing you. Doesn't that show that he cares for you and acknowledges your existence? I believe that if you two had a chance to communicate, you would get along."

"Are you just saying that to make me feel better?"

Casimin laughed. "Would I lie to you?"

Cadmus glared at his brother and grumbled, "Whatever. Let things unfold as they may."
