Refusing My God’s Advances

Chapter 160: Grappler Daggers

I woke up to the feeling of my head resting on something soft. When I opened my eyes, Shelli was smiling down at me. I sat up and rubbed my eyes, looking around. The sky was now an amber color, and the sun was making its way down to the distant clouds; two sights that I would never get tired of seeing.

"Do you feel better now?" Shelli asked and I nodded as I stood up, and then offered her my hand.

"Yeah. I probably would have been fine without the nap, but I do feel better now, and my Magical Power has basically refilled. Twas a good little snap," I joked, then took Shelli's hand. "I suppose that everyone is waiting inside?"

"They are having tea in your studio from what Mary and Danielle said. I think that everyone is excited for this trip," Shelli said as we walked around to the front door of the house.

"I will just need a moment before we leave so I can upload some designs to my new printer. Hades had asked me to make some dresses for his girls, and he wanted a suit as well," I explained as we headed into the house that was pretty quiet for the most part.

Once we made it upstairs, I could hear the women quietly talking. It got louder as we neared the end of the hall where my studio was. When I opened the door, everyone stopped talking and looked at me.

Mary was sitting at my computer with Danielle standing beside her with the computer mouse in her hand. Lyra was sitting on Scarlet's lap with her phone in her hand, and Aria was sitting on another chair beside them.

Danielle went back to browsing the ISP, but Mary gave me a good look up and down. "You finally woke back up? I thought you might have been out for the day."

I smiled and walked into the room with Shelli, but she grabbed my hand to stop me.

"I will go get you something to eat while you are getting ready," Shelli said after I turned back.

I nodded and then leaned back and gave her a kiss before turning back to the other women, looking at Mary. "I am going to need to use my computer for a bit before we go."

Mary stood up, and Danielle backed away, but as soon as I sat down, both of them swarmed around me.

"What do you need to do?" Danielle asked, leaning over on my shoulder.

"I want to upload some clothing to print for Hades and his daughters, but it will take too long with my normal printer, which I don't even have going yet," I explained, as I made my way back from the gadgets menu to start downloading all the files from the Gothic, Cyberpunk, and Steampunk libraries.

"You got another printer?" Mary asked, and I nodded, summoning my new printer to my wrist.

"This one allows me to make weapons and armor at instant speeds, provided that I have the proper materials," I explained but then paused to turn my head back to Danielle. "Did you end up making that platform I asked about?"

Danielle gave me a kiss and nodded. "I just added an addition to the side of my workshop. I want to be able to see how the printer works. There is a possibility that I could understand how it works, and recreate something that I can use on my own. I don't know if it is possible because it is part of your class, but I won't know if I don't try."

I expected no less from Danielle, but I wasn't sure how much she would be able to learn. Still, I liked that she was interested in trying to replicate the printer. Since I could buy filament from Greg, I could probably help Danielle design a normal 3D printer. With just that and some type of Computer-aided Design (CAD) program, we could start designing simple things that this world didn't have.

"That is great!" I said, and Danielle smiled brightly at me.

"Good. I think that your skills could change a lot about this world for the better, and this world sorely needs better. I don't know how much you know about the East and North, but they only focus on controlling their people with magic, science, and technology. I would like to see the world move into an age that works to benefit everyone, not just those that control the power," Danielle continued, her voice filled with conviction and a hint of excitement for the potential changes that could come about.

I nodded in agreement, understanding the gravity of what she was suggesting. The disparity between those who held power and those who didn't was stark in this world, much like in my own past life, but here I had the chance to make a real difference. If I wanted peace, then it was going to have to be worldwide, or I would never rest. "I'm with you on that. Let's make sure that what we develop benefits everyone, not just a select few."

With the files downloaded, I uploaded a design for a new weapon that had appeared in the Cyberpunk section. It was another set of daggers like the ones I had given to Gruff's party, but these ones had a very interesting name. I made my selection using some of the best materials I had gotten over the last 2 days.

3. STL File Name: Cyberpunk_Grappler_Daggers.stl

Infill Density: 100%

Considering the name, I hoped that the weapons would turn out how I imagined. I had a vision in my mind of me ripping across the battlefield like a flurry of destruction, but we would have to see in ten hours. I had used three of the best items I had for this weapon, so I couldn't see it coming out bad. I just hoped that it was at least legendary-rated.
