Refusing My God’s Advances

Chapter 180: Arts and Crafts With Apollo Pt 3

I opened the menu for my Material Lottery, but I stopped to stare at the number of points I had. I hadn't used any points since I was around level 30, and that was quite a few levels ago, but this was wild.

1. Common Material Gacha (1 point)
2. Uncommon Material Gacha (5 points)
3. Rare Material Gacha (20 points)
4. Epic Material Gacha (50 points)
5. Legendary Material Gacha (100 points)
6. Divine Material Gacha (500 points)

[8303 MATERIAL POINTS]

Considering my points, there was really only one choice to make. I dumped 500 points into the 6th choice with minimal hesitation. Unfortunately, I knew there had to be a catch, and I sighed when I saw the single item.

[DIVINE MATERIAL GACHA RESULT]

You have received:
(Epic) Ethereal Diamond Silk x1

"What the hell is this, Ricky Bobby?!" I demanded as I glared at the results.

"Who is that?" Apollo asked from behind me, but I just waved my hand.

"Ignore me! I am just talking to myself!" I retorted back, but I was annoyed by the results.

I could understand getting only one item, but it wasn't even legendary! Just how many rolls would it take to get a Divine item?! If this was the case, it would be better to try the Legendary Lottery.

[LEGENDARY MATERIAL GACHA RESULT]

You have received:
(Epic) Sunfire Essence x1
(Epic) Melodic Crystal Shard x1

Well, I got more items but no legendary-rated items. If this was a gacha, then I would have to up my game and try my luck, which didn't seem to be overly great lately. It was time to try a ten-time pull!

[LEGENDARY MATERIAL GACHA x10 RESULT]

You have received:

(Legendary) Solar Amber x2
(Epic) Lunar Silver Thread x3
(Epic) Celestial Bronze x2
(Legendary) Harmony Pearl x1
(Epic) Echoing Ivory x2
(Epic) Cosmic Dust x3
(Epic) Eternal Flame x2
(Epic) Radiant Starlight Fabric x2
(Epic) Symphony Quartz x1
(Epic) Leaf Loral Thread x2

This was the way! Three legendary items! It was time to return to the divine and drop most of my points! There was no other choice! I had to see!

[DIVINE MATERIAL GACHA x10 RESULT]

You have received:

(Divine) Sunstone Essence x1
(Epic) Ethereal Platinum Thread x2
(Epic) Phoenix Feather x2
(Legendary) Lunar Opal x1
(Divine) Chorus Amber x1
(Epic) Twilight Silk x2
(Epic) Astral Iron x2

"Oh, baby!" I shouted and stood up, turning around to face the two gods.

"Oh? You got something good?" Apollo asked with excitement glittering in his eyes, but Hades raised his hand.

"But not too good! I want you to show him a good time, but I don't want to be shown up!" Hades warned, the temperature in the room dropping slightly as his words hung in the air. Apollo, however, was practically vibrating with anticipation, his aura pulsating with light as if to challenge the darkness emanating from Hades.

I couldn't help but smirk at their rivalry. "Don't worry, Hades. What I have in mind will certainly make Apollo happy, but I'll ensure it won't overshadow your fiery suit. After all, it's all about balance, right?"

Apollo clapped his hands in delight, the sound echoing like sunlight bouncing off water. "Oh, I can't wait to see what you'll craft for me!"

I nodded and then pointed my wrist at Apollo, selecting the same gothic suit I had chosen for Hades. This time, I used (Epic) Ethereal Platinum Thread, (Epic) Radiant Starlight Fabric, and a (Unique Rare) Minotaur Crystal. The last part was the soul, so I used a (Rare) Emerald Boar Soul because I didn’t have much to spare in this area. After confirming all my choices, the new suit started to print over Apollo's body, replacing the toga he was wearing.

Once finished, the sun god and the god of the underworld were left speechless. The suit was nothing short of spectacular, a perfect fusion of elegance and power. The Ethereal Platinum Thread gave the fabric a lustrous, almost liquid metal appearance that shimmered with an inner light, while the Radiant Starlight Fabric interwoven throughout the suit seemed to capture the very essence of the night sky, twinkling with countless stars. The unique touch of the Minotaur Crystal added an exotic flair, embedding into the suit's lapel like a badge of honor, glowing softly with a power that hinted at hidden depths.

While a rare choice, the Emerald Boar Soul imbued the suit with a subtle, greenish aura that pulsated gently, symbolizing vitality and strength. This combination of materials and essence created a suit that was not only visually stunning but also teeming with magical energy.

Apollo stood up, the suit fitting him perfectly as if it was tailored to every contour of his divine form. He moved with a grace that was enhanced by the suit's design, the materials flexing and flowing with his every gesture, highlighting his stature as the god of the sun, music, poetry, and the arts.

The envy that had flickered in Apollo's eyes earlier was now replaced with sheer admiration and a touch of astonishment. "Leon, this is...incredible. It's more than I could have ever hoped for. The way the suit captures the essence of the night and day, the divine and the ethereal... it's a masterpiece. You've truly outdone yourself."

Hades, ever the competitor, couldn't help but nod reluctantly in agreement. "I must admit, this is quite the creation. While I still prefer my own suit for its unique properties, I can appreciate the craftsmanship and thought that went into this. Well done."

While still present, Apollo and Hades' rivalry seemed to fade in comparison to their mutual respect for the craftsmanship before them. It was a rare moment of unity, brought together by their shared appreciation of something truly extraordinary.

Now fully embracing the brilliance of his new suit, Apollo turned to me with a smile that could rival the sun's radiance. "Leon, considering this gift that you just presented me with, I think it only fair that I offer you something in return!"
