Reigning Supreme in Every Reality

19: This little power is not enough!

_______

"It's currently impossible to find a tool that can fully withstand the force of your punches!"

"We'll have to use another method, collecting multidimensional data to estimate the approximate values!" Tony always had a flexible solution.

"So.. What do you want me to do?" Lyon asked.

"Exert force in the air; it shouldn't affect your state, right?"

"No effect, I have an anti-gravity field!"

Tony adjusted all the instruments and said over the radio.

"Then you need to fly up, just like how Superman pushes an asteroid, and push that tester below you!"

"Although this won't test the force of your punch, it can measure your pushing strength."

"Later, we'll test the speed of your punches, so Jarvis can combine the data to roughly calculate the force of your punches."

"Alright!" Lyon floated up, his body flipping in the air, and his hands pressed down on the iron block below.

"I'm about to exert force!"

"Remember to use your maximum strength!"

"Of course!"

Lyon's gaze sharpened as his muscles tensed up, and he pushed down with all his strength.

On Tony's side, there was an immediate reaction.

In almost an instant, the numbers on the screen jumped to nine digits, startling him.

And the data kept rising rapidly until Lyon let out a roar in the distance, causing the increase to stop and start fluctuating.

"That's enough!" Tony's voice was a bit shaky.

"Phew..." Lyon exhaled the breath in his chest, "What was my pushing force?"

Tony swallowed, "Three hundred and seventy million kilograms, which is three hundred and seventy thousand tons. Jarvis estimates that the strength in one of your arms should be between one hundred and forty thousand to one hundred and ninety thousand tons."

"So high?" Lyon was also a bit surprised.

That number is indeed not low.

In the DC movies, when Henry's Superman first appeared in Man of Steel, his strength was set at only eight hundred thousand tons.

Although that was his initial appearance, and he hadn't fully developed yet, he'd still been absorbing sunlight for over twenty years.

Lyon, however, had only been absorbing sunlight for a little over six months.

Besides, with such strength, it's already more than enough for him to be invincible on Earth.

But...

"It's still not enough," Lyon clenched his fist. "Earth is just a small pond, and there are plenty of giants outside the pond. I still have a long way to go and need to keep finding ways to get stronger!"

On the other side, Tony listened to Lyon's muttering and rolled his eyes.

He was so affected by this humblebrag that he didn't even feel like arguing. Instead, he directly operated the computer to start the next test.

"Next is the punch speed test. Just go with the highest speed you think you can handle while attacking!"

Lyon thought for a moment: "Whenever I throw a punch, I use an anti-gravity field to protect the surrounding environment. So I'll go with the maximum speed the anti-gravity field can handle in full-force mode."

He stood on the iron block and once again prepared to exert force.

He bent his waist, twisted his hips, and thrust out his fist!

A textbook straight punch.

The martial arts he learned a few days ago allowed Lyon to maximize the power he could exert.

However, this punch was just a shadowboxing move, without the tens of thousands of tons of massive force.

Beep!

Tony was still watching Lyon from a distance.

In Tony's eyes, Lyon hadn't moved at all.

But on the computer, a value suddenly jumped out, without any warning.

"10,769 meters per second, nearly Mach 32!?"

"Is that the maximum speed you can reach when exerting your full strength?" Tony pressed his hands against the table, staring intently at the screen.

Lyon thought Tony felt the same as he did, thinking this speed was too slow: "Hmm.. It's a bit slow."

"Actually, I can go even faster, but if I exceed this speed with full force, my anti-gravity field will be breached, affecting the surrounding environment—just like what happened in the garage this morning."

Tony clicked his tongue: "Damn! So it can go even faster... This is practically godlike!"

"A god? Gods are just like that... This is still far from enough. When I become stronger in the future, the anti-gravity field will also strengthen accordingly, and this punching speed can increase further."

"Still not enough?" Tony was astonished. "Do you know how powerful a punch of yours would be at that speed, with the force of tens of thousands of tons?"

"Probably... like a small meteor crashing into Earth?"

Tony wiped his face with both hands: "Pretty much... Jarvis, tell him the exact value."

"Right away, sir."

"Master Lyon, according to the model calculations..."

"At a speed of Mach 31, a full-force punch with one arm can generate over 15 trillion newtons of impact in just one second, equivalent to the explosive force of 240 Hiroshima atomic bombs."

At this point, Tony slammed the table heavily: "That's also equivalent to 3.6 million tons of TNT! And this doesn't even factor in the small surface area of your fist, which would result in even greater pressure!"

Jarvis continued, "Indeed, Master Lyon, you are essentially a walking high-yield hydrogen bomb with unlimited firepower!"

Tony took a deep breath, overwhelmed with excitement.

Who would have thought that the little brother he argued with daily at home was hiding such immense power?

"Do you still think your strength isn't enough? I can't even understand why you're so eager to get stronger. Was it because I didn't protect you well enough when we were kids?"

"No, Tony, of course, you've been incredibly good to me—even taking me along when you're out picking up girls. But there are many other reasons behind it."

Lyon thought about it for a moment. Tony wasn't entirely wrong.

The truth is, his desire to become stronger stemmed from the psychological shadow of constantly fearing that the Time Variance Authority (TVA) would come to arrest him as a child.

Having experienced the utmost helplessness and anxiety, Lyon now fully understood the importance of having power in his hands.

"What reasons then? Is it because I was too focused on picking up girls, and you got jealous and wanted superpowers to beat me up?" Tony's thoughts were a bit scattered, so he casually teased.

"...Then I really should beat you up." Lyon pressed his communication earpiece. "Alright, let's move on to the next test. There's still more to shock you."

For the next hour...

Lyon proceeded with tests on his heat vision's temperature, the range of his freezing breath, X-ray vision, and flight...

Tony's exclamations went from initially being utterly shocked to later feeling half-dead.

From shouting "God!" to "Holy crap," and then to "You're really something else."

You couldn't blame Tony for being numb—it was all because Lyon was just too good at downplaying his abilities.

A 6,000-degree heat vision that could freely adjust its power and range was, in Lyon's words, "barely acceptable."

A freezing breath capable of instantly freezing several square miles of land was, according to him, "still far from enough."

His X-ray vision, which could see through the entire globe, was dismissed because "it can't see through lead, so it's flawed—might as well not have it."

Even his super hearing was criticized as being "too noisy, not that useful."

After running through the whole set of tests, Tony had no other thoughts—just a desire to plant his size 42 shoe right on Lyon's face.

"So, what's next? What's the next ability to test?"

"Let... me.. check.." Tony, eyes dull, slumped in his chair, listlessly moving the mouse with one hand.
