Lyon didn't know about Tony's rich inner thoughts.
He glanced at the arc reactor on Tony's chest and shook his head.
"You can't beat him."
Based on the portrayal of Wenwu in the movie, only a late-stage Tony would have the strength to fight him.
As for the current Tony, who is still using the palladium arc reactor?
Sorry, he's too weak.
"You say I can't beat him without even seeing me in action?"
Tony's eyes widened, "It's like you know him so well!"
Lyon lifted two corpses from the ground and started walking out.
"I do know a few things."
"The Ten Rings is an organization that has been around for thousands of years, named after the treasure of its leader, the Ten Rings."
"The Ten Rings possess astonishing power, granting their wielder a long life and superhuman strength."
"It is said to possess a special energy capable of opening dimensions."
"That Wenwu obtained the Ten Rings thousands of years ago and has lived until now. So... How could you possibly defeat someone like that?"
The Ten Rings in the movie and the Ten Rings in the comics share the same name, but their abilities are completely different.
The Ten Rings belong to the category of psychic energy weapons, capable of absorbing and storing kinetic energy.
In the movie, the power of these weapons varies depending on who wields them.
The comics later supplemented this with additional information.
They stated that the Ten Rings were originally celestial weapons of the Jade Emperor, merely left behind in the human realm.
In the right hands, their power could even approach a cosmic level, comparable to the Infinity Stones.
As for the origin of the Ten Rings in the movie, Lyon was unsure.
After all, the two people who had wielded the Ten Rings in the movie displayed a power level that seemed insufficient to even destroy a city.
Compared to the descriptions in the comics, they were at least ten galaxies short.
Of course, even so, Wenwu is not someone Tony, in his current state, can match.
"Are you sure you're not telling a fairy tale? A person who's lived for a thousand years? And can open dimensions?"
Tony instinctively questioned, but Lyon's expression told him it wasn't a joke.
"Alright, I get it, it's true. Thanks for the explanation, Lyon Kent~."
Tony also donned his armor and began helping Lyon carry the bodies.
"Let me think... A thousand-year-old organization with an old fossil for a leader! This is unheard of."
"But this is still something I have to handle myself, Lyon. If they're coming for me, then I'll face them head-on!"
Lyon tossed the body onto the lawn and asked, "How are you going to handle it?"
"With that toxic Arc Reactor in your chest?"
He said this and went back inside to continue moving the next batch of bodies.
Tony followed behind him. "Don't put it that way. Let me give it a shot first, and if it doesn't work, then you can step in. With a Superman like you around, what could possibly happen to me? Uh... but, palladium can poison my body? I mean.. you know?" Tony was a bit surprised.
Lyon silently picked up two more bodies in his hands.
"I took chemistry in high school, thanks."
He took two steps and suddenly stopped. "If you really want to make a move, then first upgrade your armor and heal that hole in your chest."
"Also, I've been meaning to ask, why do you still always carry the reactor when there are no more shrapnel fragments in your chest? Is it just to look cool?"
"Well... cough, cough," Tony looked a bit embarrassed, "There's a deep reason behind this."
"What's with that guilty look?" Lyon said suspiciously. "Don't tell me you've actually forgotten that palladium can cause poisoning!"
"Are you kidding me? How could I possibly forget something like that..."
Tony's expression was awkward. "I was just... testing the toxicity levels of palladium on the human body, that's right, that's it!"
Lyon covered his forehead. "You idiot, you're hopeless!"
"I thought you had some other plan, so I didn't ask all this time."
"Never thought you had never considered this issue!"
A week ago, Tony was still flaunting his Arc Reactor in his chest like some kind of Iron Arm Atom Boy.
It wasn't until last weekend, when he came out of the lab, that the big hole in his chest was finally filled with something else.
Thinking back, it was probably when his body started feeling unwell that he remembered the palladium poisoning issue.
"That was all in the past!" Tony tossed two bodies onto the ground, loudly changing the subject.
"Only kids dwell on the past!"
"Right now, we should be thinking about how to improve the armor!"
Tony tried to put his hand on Lyon's shoulder, but Lyon dodged.
Tony then clapped his hands to cover up his embarrassment. "Since you said I can't beat that Wenwu, how about helping me develop the armor?"
"For the next month, if we brothers work together, we could definitely make history!"
"Lyon, you don't want to see your big brother get bullied by outsiders, right?"
Lyon raised an eyebrow. "Oh? Something like that would be nice~ I've been waiting for you to get beaten up for a long time."
He declined. "Working on research together is impossible. I still need to work on becoming stronger."
"But a few days ago, I used my super vision to check some files left by Dad at S.H.I.E.L.D."
"I found out that a long time ago, he had already researched a new element compatible with the arc reactor."
"The clue is on the design board at the Stark Industrial Park. You can go check it out."
Lyon chose to reveal the existence of the new element to Tony in advance.
At the same time, he piled all the bodies together.
He used his heat vision to burn them all to ashes.
Then, with a single breath, he blew all the dust out of the villa.
"Dad?" On the other side, Tony removed his armor. "He developed a new element? You must be joking."
"It's not a joke; that was his final gift to you."
Lyon patted Tony's arm and walked into the house.
"After this, you can ask Nick Fury for the files Dad left behind. Everything he wanted to tell you is in there."
Lyon temporarily gave up on his idea of going directly to the Ten Rings headquarters and smashing Wenwu's head.
Since Tony wanted to take this on, he might as well let him try.
If Tony really couldn't handle it, he could step in.
After all, strictly speaking, this matter was a personal grudge between the Ten Rings and Tony.
Tony stood there in a daze for a while.
He probably never imagined that after all this time, he would still receive a gift from Howard.
He stood there in a daze for several minutes before finally entering the house to find Lyon.
"So, you agree, right? To let me handle the Ten Rings problem myself," Tony was still thinking about the challenge.
"Whatever, but I still don't think you can do it. When the time comes and you lose, don't go shouting for little old me to save you." Lyon was preparing to head back into space.
"You agree? Awesome! I knew you would agree. That's why you're my brother."
Tony cheered.
He didn't take Lyon's mockery to heart at all.
Ask for help? What help?
He, Tony Stark, would rather jump off the cliff behind the house than ever call for help again!
He said it! No one could change his mind!
Lyon saw right through Tony's thoughts and sighed deeply.
This Tony had been spoiled rotten.
Maybe someday he should swap this one out for another from the multiverse. 'Just kidding.'
"Don't get too excited too soon. I told you that you're definitely going to lose, and you're still happy?" he tried to deliver a verbal blow.
"Lose? That's not certain. Once I have the new element, everything will be different!" Tony waved his hand dismissively.
"Wishful thinking. Even with the new element in the Mark III, it still won't be enough, and that big hole in your chest is a fatal flaw!"
"Unless you can fix that, but as of now, there's no medical technology that can... hmm, maybe not."
Lyon stroked his chin, suddenly recalling something.
Advanced medical technology might not exist on Earth, but it does in the Marvel universe.
And if the universe is too far, there are still other worlds!
Lyon suddenly felt intrigued.
He had recently been considering traveling to another world.
Since it would be his first time traversing, he wanted to start with a world that wasn't too dangerous, as a trial run.
So, why not choose a world that could both heal Tony's chest wound and allow him to strengthen himself, while also having a manageable power ceiling?
Lyon's eyes gleamed with determination, and he suddenly felt the urge to act.
He had already studied the ability to traverse worlds before.
As long as he thought of a keyword in his mind, his traversal ability would provide feedback on the approximate energy required to traverse to the corresponding world.
It was like a simplified search engine: after inputting a keyword, it would display the "data" needed to search for and access the corresponding webpage.
When Lyon clicked "confirm search" and paid the "data cost," the ability would activate and transport him to the target world.
However, there was a slight issue.
This "search engine" couldn't recognize the names of those movies from his previous life.
He could only search for worlds using keywords like "low power ceiling" or "advanced medical technology."
