Reincarnated as Ravel Phenex (DxD)

RAVEL'S POV—

After killing Gintoki's other sidekick and his childhood friends, I am now heading towards Gintoki's location. While flying, I saw there were almost next to no survivors. The zombies were growling and searching for food.

Reaching the spot where Gintoki's location was showing, I saw him sitting on a pipe. I flied towards him and landed on the ground. When I looked at him, I found him to be looking at me? His eyes held some clarity to it, as if within this short interval of time, he has gained some consciousness. Would he able to talk?

Testing this, I said, "Hello! Can you understand me?"

Gintoki didn't reply anything. He stayed quiet and just observed me. After some seconds, he opened his mouth. He asked, "Yes. You are a protagonist of a comic or anime, aren't you?"

Raising my left eyebrow at his question, I said, "Maybe or maybe not. But why are you asking me this?"

He replied, "It's because I know that I was the protagonist of this world."

So, he is aware that he was the protagonist of this world. I sighed in exasperation. All thanks to this world's absurdness, Gintoki knows his value. He continued, "You have done something to me," he stood up and took out his sword, "I am going to kill you, to find out."

If he kills me, what the fuck would he find out? I mocked, "Your intelligence is really commendable. To think that you could kill me, proves how absurd this world and its people are. Although, using 'were' would be right."

Gintoki's wooden sword was covered with blood and some black mass, making it took a bit sinister.

Like before, he made the first move. Jumping at me, he swung his sword at me. Dodging it, I conjured some flames in my hand threw at him. For some reason, he dodged it. His sword started to glow. My eyes widened a bit. Just how lunatic this world is?

He glares at me, and send slashes of sword at me. I dodged them. Huh, if he wants to increase the level of this game then, who am I to stop him. I conjured swords in thin air. It was made up from my flames. I threw those at Gintoki.

It should be over for him. There was no way he could dodge them. But to my surprise, he dodged them. The destructive ability of my fiery swords destroyed everything within it's radius. Nothing was left within 200 metres.

Gintoki holding his sword, took his stance again. "End this! Ravel, why are you fighting this slowly?"

I replied, 'It's just that I am trying to enjoy myself with this fight. But if you want me to end this, then I will.'

Putting my hands on the ground, I sent my flames into it. Just as Gintoki started to move, he found himself bound by my vines, that were made of my flames. Without any further ado, I ripped him apart from limb to limb, finally ripping his head off.

|After five minutes, the portal to your original world would open. |

Ryan said, "It's over."

"It wasn't much of a challenge to me. Nothing happened in this world. Coming here was not at all worth it. Neither plot wise nor, action wise."

Ryan sighed, "Yes, it was really stupid of us to come to this world. Ravel, let's just go home."

After five minutes, the portal opened. Hah, time to go home. What a waste of time! Just before I jumped into the portal, my gaze fell on Gintoki's sword. Tempted by it's look, I took it and put it in my storage. Well, I think it was not fully in vain. I did find a sword. Thinking that, I jumped into the portal.
